Larisk could tell that his bonded wanted him to stop, and he hesitated a moment, his grow starting to ebb. But then the bad man hit her. Stop hitting her! He growled loudly again and lunged at the man.

Action/Defending Rider
His rider could not negotiate with the girl if the wher attacked him, so the brown dragon moved in front of the wher, snarling at him. Enough.Brown Krith Hp: 43/60 Defending: 3+2 = 5 Defense given: 7-5 = 2 damage for Krith

Action/Use Item- Bandages F'nell had no objections to a cease-fire, though he doubted that the girl could truly control the wher. "Alright. If you can keep him under control, then you can leave. If not, well, Krith would be more than happy to deal with him." He applied the bandages to the worst of his wounds, thankful that he had managed to pick them up. He was going to need the numbweed he came looking for after this, but until the girl was dealt with, it had to wait. Just like he did. They had a chance to get out of this. Now if only she could convince Larisk to take it. The wher seemed too worked up to listen to just words, so she flopped to the ground and hugged the wher, though somewhat tentatively considering his many oozing wounds. Oh shells, where would she find the supplies to fix him up?
The crooned to the brown, "That's enough now, Larisk. You're a brave boy to defend me, but you don't need to any more. They're going to leave us be, and then we can go get you patched up. So just be a good wher and hold still a bit, OK?" She gently stroked his head, which seemed the least wounded, heedless of his continued growls. He wouldn't hurt her, and growling was fine with her as long as he didn't do anything more hostile.

Larisk was as ready as ever to attack the bad man who'd hurt his bonded so much. He didn't care how much he was hurt, even though his legs were growing weak. His bonded was in danger! And then she was there with him and telling him to stop and be good. He nuzzled her hand worriedly as she pet his head. She hurt. He didn't like her hurt.
But she wanted him to be still. Nobody was hitting her right now, so he could wait. But he would hurt them again if they hurt her, and he growled to let them know.

F'nell was surprised that the wher was listening as well as he was, and he merely stared at the girl for a moment. What was he supposed to do now? She was agreeing to the terms of the cease-fire, and he wasn't going to attack unless her or the wher did so first. "So." Yeah, that kind of covered it. No Action Krith wasn't as serene as his rider, his eyes still whirling red in anger, keeping a close eye on the brown wher. He didn't trust the creature, not at all, no handler had that close of a tie. Let me finish this.Not yet, beloved. We wait. Only if they attack will we. Well, the rider and dragon weren't attacking. That was good. Larisk was still tense and growling, but he was listening and staying put. Though Laria still stayed kneeling with her arms around him, just to make sure he'd stay. He was in no condition to be moving much, let alone fighting. She could feel him trembling with the effort of staying upright.
But she wasn't entirely sure where to go from there either. All she really wanted was to go get Larisk fixed up and sit somewhere quiet to try and figure out what was going on at the weyr. "Well...you could let us leave now." Laria said heistantly. "I need to find some bandages or numbweed something for Larisk." She didn't care that she was hurt, too. Nothing felt broken and nothing was bleeding, so she'd mend.

Nobody was getting hurt. Not Larisk, not his bonded. Bad man and mean dragon were staying put, just like Larisk was staying put. There was talking he didn't understand, but it wasn't loud and angry so it seemed safe. He still watched the bad man and mean dragon in case they tried anything, and growled to let them know he was watching. But he was getting tired. He would not rest until his bonded was safe! But he hoped that would be soon so he could lay down for a while.

((XD- I fixed it)) No action- F'nell and Krith He could let them go. Somehow he didn't think that the other riders would appreciate that, but the girl didn't even know what she was fighting for. She was an innocent as far as anyone could be in this, and he merely frowned. It was just a bad situation all around. Let them go. Krith said, nudging his rider gently, and F'nell reached up and caressed his brown. They can't hurt anyone right now, and we need to get numbweed.Well who was he to ignore good advice. "Alright. I'll let you guys go, but, look, think about what you're doing, and if you change your mind, have Larisk contact Krith. We're willing to help you out." It was possible that this would come back and bite him, but he had to take that chance. Krith reared back and keened, as the loss of a dragon hit him. Green Ayuduth has gone between. I will miss her. There were too many losses already, and F'nell could only imagine what the count would be once this was all over. He chuckled wryly. "Isn't it funny. We're more a danger to ourselves than thread is."

Laria and Larisk - Forfeit
They could really go? She hadn't quite believed they'd do it, but was certainly glad they did. And thinking was exactly what she wanted to do right now. After treating Larisk, of course. She nodded and slowly stood up, murmuring soothing things to Larisk. The wher had stopped growling when he heard the dragon keen. maybe he knew what it meant, maybe he just recognized a sad sound. Either way, the red was ebbing from his eyes.
Laria kept a hand on her wher's shoulder as she looked at the rider once more. She didn't know what else to say, so she just said, "Thanks," before looking back down at her wher. "There's a good boy," she said soothingly as she started to lead Larisk away. "Come on, let's get you out of here so we can fix you up. Let's just take it slow; that's the way." She kept up a stream of encouragement as they left the Hatching Grounds.
Larisk kept an eye on the rider and dragon until they were out of site, but he offered no more hostility. He was too tired, and his bonded wasn't being hurt any more. He was perfectly happy to be quiet and let her tell him where to go.

Let us finish what we came for.
F'nell nodded, watching the pair leave. He didn't think they'd come back, not with the wher being wounded, and he hoped that the girl would change her mind and contact him. Maybe if she did, they'd both just disappear for a while, get away from this whole mess.
He shook his head. No. That was just wishful thinking, he was needed here, to protect the Weyr, and he moved quickly to gather up the healing supplies before anybody else had the chance to stop him. They were luckily enough easy to carry, and he made several trips from the storeroom to his dragon before he determined that he had enough for the moment. He could come back if they needed more, but this would do to start.
Are we going?
F'nell swung himself up onto the dragon. "Yes. Let's go." The brown rose into the air, and then vanished between.
