Ronan
Keefe
Ronan
The males glare didnt faulter as he watched the female start to squirm slightly and cringe. He silently thought to himself why she wasnt fighting back, though maybe she was biding her time.

The male continued to push his paw into her arm to make the wound deeper, the only time he heard something come from her compessed windpipe was when the single word emerged.

His eyes still on hers he honestly wondered what she was thinking!? He was protecting the pack and she stood up against him, one would think that her eyes would have showed some type of hate? Though he hadnt ever met this female before.

Pushing off againt the females arm he removed himself from her windpipe and arm, He crouched low still his eyes flaring. "Leave, and dont return." The male kept his posture, waiting to see what the female would do.. he kept his guard up.
Keefe twitched a bit in his sleep, some unpleasant dreams had floated his way and he wasn't overly fond of them. The male growled lightly in his sleep, uncurling from his ball and rolling onto his back, all four legs up to the sky and twitching about. After a few minutes of this rediculous and quite uncontrolable ritual Keefe settled down onto his side and sighed, dreams were just dreams. There were some sounds in the distance but Keefe supposed it was just the animals in the woods. Slowly, his eyes peered open and he gave a long yawn. He turned his head, going in to nuzzle Naf but when he did there was nothing to nuzzle. Keefe's amber eyes popped open, pupils dialating quickly as he stood frantcially. She was gone, where was she? In sheer panic Keefe whimered and sniffed around, eyes peeled to see if he could spot her. Nothing.

"Naf? Nafeeza?!"

His usually half closed eyes were wide open, searching for her as best he could. A few seconds of panicking brought him to a point where he could think more clearly. Scent. He would track her by scent. Wasting no time Keefe stuck his snout to the ground and followed Naf's scent. Knowing her she was probably off playing and romping but he still worried if she wasn't at his side every waking second. What Keefe saw when he had finally tracked her snapped something deep within him. There was a big green wolf standing over his poor Nafeeza, growling at her and there she lay; innocent and still on the ground. His hackles bristeled as he got a better sense of who this wolf was, it was the brother that they had traveled all this way to meet,

"Ronan, you heartless b*****d"

There was a fury that erupted from him as he let out a snarl, baring his fangs and hurdling toward Ronan as fast as he could, his intentions weren't too brotherly, he was aiming to rip that coward's throat clear out for what he did to her.
Ronan didnt notice the presence of the other wolf until he heard something being called from his side. He didnt notice that the male His first reaction was 'reinforcments!?' He Immediatly took up a defensive stance, his mouth opening once again as he saw the purple male making his way towards Him. That scent again?~ He unconciously thought in his mind, Rage had somewhat taken over his mind as well.

He started to make his way for the new male as well, the thing that ran constintantly in his head was 'Must protect pack, must protect lands."

He kept on running until he was a few feet away, he gently then slid toi the side to attempt to dodge, and have a open spot at the males side.

His mind was screaming something.. almsot as if saying this was wrong... what was it? His mind was trying to say something, and without noticing it he called out a name, "Keefe?" Ronan explaimed through his gridding teeth.

Nafeeza
After the foreign male had stepped off of her, Nafeeza heard his command from beside her. But she made no attempt to move. In shock at the events and the pain of the blood rushing to the different areas of her body, the large tan female didn't move. Gaping, she attempted to get a hold on her surroundings.

From behind her, movement burst ouf the trees. A familair voice spoke. 'Eeza found herself surprised as the venom in Keefe's tone. Lifting her head, she rolled herself onto her belly, watching as the two males attacked. What was going on?
Ronan
Keefe
Keefe could have cared less about what the situation was, misunderstanding or not. That wolf he had once called brother had hurt Nafeeza, the only one in his whole life that seemed to vaguely care for him. There was anger coursing through his veins, it was a strange emotion but a welcome one; Keefe had never been mad before. The dark wolf could barely think, his vision blurred in his fury. Ronan approached him quickly and then dodged to the left, Keefe tried to follow up on this and continue his attack but he could barely see in this state. He still lunged forward, jaws snapping with ill intent at his brother. The contact he made wasn't what he has wished it to be. The bite that was meant to take Ronan's life had veered off course and put a deep gash in his shoulder.

For the first time in his life Keefe tasted the blood of another wolf. It sickened him, he wanted to vomit all up but he couldn't stop. He had to protect her at all costs. Keefe lept a few feet away from Ronan and landed near Nafeeza, walking to her and standing over her, snarling ferociously. His usually emotionless eyes were blazing with hatred for what had happened. Poor Keefe was so distraught that he could barely get his words out,

"Ronan-My brother-How could you--I hate you"
Rage still filled the deep green males mind as he turned around to face the attackers. Ronan winced slightly as his arm was gashed open, though he removed the wince almost instantly as once again the same thing ran through his mind. 'Must protect pack, must protect lands' ran through his head in a constant repitition. Ignoring the blood that now ren freely down his arm he still looked onto the male, and finally got the big picture of whom it was... even though he said his name. The rage seemed to die down ever so slightly, tho he replied in a deep tone towards his brother.

"Keefe!? What the... why? What do you mean you hate me? She," He said, nodding his head towards the ground. "tresspassed on my packs land. I gave her the warning signs and she replied with the SAME thing. She was challenging me!!" he inwardly thought that keefe was also tresspassing on his land, afterall... he Attacked ronan! As well as he seemed to be defending the one that challenged Ronan in the first place!

Nafeeza
Keefe
Nafeeza
Nafeeza sobered quicky listening to the two talk between snarls. This was Keefe's brother? Speechlesly, she stared over at the opposing male now that he was close enough to see his coat pattern and color. Her gaze flitted to Keefe briefly and then back to Ronan. Why, they were nearly twins! Sure one was green but...

"Keefe..?" Her voice was soft and sheepish, but not from the pain. When Keefe looked down at her, his mind still on his brother, his eyes were filled with such a spectacular display of hatred Nafeeza almost recoiled. She dropped her gaze and looked over at Ronan. "Please..don't be mad at him, Keefe. It was my fault. ...I just.. didn't understand... I thought he was playing.." Her voice dropped, embarrassed that she had made such a mistake. But how was she to know?

Slowly, she pulled her legs under her and pushed slowly to her feet. The gash in her shoulder smarted, but she knew she had deserved it. Confused but determined to right her wrong, she smiled lightly and took a step towards Keefe. She had never seen him like this, the rage huffing from him, but he was still her Keefe.

"Keefe.." She nuzzled her smiled into his neck, behind his ear, to draw his attention away from Ronan. "Please, don't be mad... He meant no harm..." She glanced at Ronan again, holding his gaze for a moment before nuzzling again into Keefe. "He probably has a family to protect... even from a dimwit like me."
There was foam gathering at the sides of Keefe's mouth as he spat his words of hatred at his brother, he couldn't stand what he had done. Most of all, Keefe was angry at himself more than anyone else for letting her slip away; it was all his fault she had gotten hurt. It had also been his fault that she fell from the cliff days before. His gaze hardened as he gazed to Ronan bitterly,

"Wh-why? Look what you did! We came to /visit/ you, I wanted to talk, I brought her here, she was with me, is that how you treat family around these packlands as you call them Ronan? She couldn't hurt you if she had tried Ronan, I can't stand the way you think"

He stepped around Naf, teeth still bared and his position still hostile, his brother had changed so much; they never should have come back. This is what he got for worrying about his family. Nafeeza's first words didn't reach his ear, he was too busy fuming he didn't think he'd ever calm down his mind was still racing on the thought that revenge needed to be taken no matter what. But once again it was Eeza that came to his rescue, nuzzling him and diverting his attention. His eyes closed and his legs began to shake, his fury slowly melting away. Keefe looked slowly to his friend, eyes opening again, all the rage had melted away again at her calming words. There was still resent in his tone as he spoke though,

"His family? He had no other family, I am his family, you are my family, /we/ are his family and he seems to have forgotten"
'Eeza was dealing with her own guilt. She was always doing things, stupid things and hurting her best friend. First she had slid down that rocky slope and worried him, and now she was ruining his relashionship with his brother. Despite these feelings, Naf would not allow her actions to make trouble for her friend or her newfound pack.

She chuckled lightly against his fur. "What would you have done if things were reversed? Let the crazy growling wolf though?" She chuckled again, though her own words hurt her spirit. "You have changed since you last saw him, yes? You have.. We have our own pack now. You have me-" Her voice caught and she had to pause until she could smile again, "What's to say..he does not as well?"

Nuzzling his ear, she pulled her muzzle away from him a little, looking over at Ronan. Here she was making things easier on the green wolf when she didn't even know how he would react.

Ronan
Keefe
Ronan
Ronan stood their, watching and listening to the scent that was happened right infront of him. His brother, his OWN brother had attacked him while ronan was just trying to defend his land, was this a mistake? As alpha of the pack it was his duty to do all he must for the safety, and welfare of the pack. The female had started to show agresive tracks right back upon ronan, what was he supposed to do!? What if she REALLY wanted to do harm to the pack, would he just move aside and let her take over? No.

"How was i supposed to know that she came with you." He spat back at his brother, a semi-harsh tone now in his mouth. "What was i supposed to think dear brother? ive never met her before and she started to growl and bare her teeth at me. Hypothetically what if she really was a intruder? What if she wished to challenge one of the Alpha's of the pack so she could gain rule. Would you want me to step aside and let her beat me down while she ran off and took over the land? I dont think so."

The last comment that Keefe had made seemed to be eating away at ronan, Yes keefe was family... and what happened the last time Keefe had asked for Ronan's trust? He betrayed it. This was one factor that had changed the alpha males life forever. 'yes' he betrayed his brother and more than likely lost his trust for life. All the male wanted to say was, "Keefe im sorry for back when we where pups that Ir betrayed your trust..." Ronans stance didnt faulter as he apologized, He knew that this statement was incoherant to do with the current argument... but he had been holding that in for quite some time.

Shaking his head, the deep green male went back onto the current argument. He must admit, his rage did faulter slightly sence he found out that Keefe was their, what proberbly also put a cork in it was when Keefe called the female Family. He heard the female also trying to reason with Keefe, he was also suddenly wondering why she was helping Ronan.. the one that attacked her in the first place.

Swallowing his Alpha pride the male made a daring move, he sat down onto his rump and bowed his head towards the duo... "Please forgive me inputance towards the duo of you. I apologise for attacking you," He also said towards the female, not yet knowing her name. Though he inwardly thought that... 'this female needs to get out more'.

( Ox I think thats the biggest post ive ever typed XD: )
Keefe scoffed quietly, to him, Ronan's comeback was a poor excuse. He hadn't even heard of this so called pack ever before; last Keefe heard of it was from an omega who told him that the pack hadn't even officially formed yet. How could some wolf want to challenge the authority of a pack that had barely formed? That wasn't possible, not in Keefe's mind. His amber eyes narrowed at his brother once again,

"Were you the only pup in our litter that was born without a nose? She's been with me my whole life Ronan, have you even forgotten your own brother's scent?"

To be quite frank, Keefe didn't recognize his brother as an alpha of anything just yet. Where was his pack? Nowhere to be seen. There was just him, claiming things and Keefe didn't trust that he was telling the truth, he had no reason to trust his brother's word, not after what had happened. His dark ears had been pressed back as he looked away from his brother to the ground, he just wanted to leave and not deal with anything, get Nafeeza somewhere safe where her wounds could be looked after. But this wasn't the time to run off. Ronan suddenly said something that perked his head and ears up, the coldness melting from his gaze. His brother had... apologized. Apologized for a small argument they had as pups. The argument that had seperated the two brothers for so long. His mouth opened to say something but the words wouldn't come. Had this really tormented Ronan so? Keefe hadn't really lingered on it too much until now. Keefe looked away briefly and then back to his brother once more,

".... I forgive you brother. No hard feelings, hmm?"

Keefe looked kindly to Naf and then back to Ronan. His head nodded to the side, gesturing to the female,

"This is Nafeeza, we've been traveling together since the day I took off. She's all I have."
Yes, the pack that Ronan was the alpha of was fairly new to the various array of other pack. Yes Ronan had not yet met each and every pack member, but that still doesnt mean he does know the pack exisited. Packs take time to form and or gain the stregth to stay formed. He himself had become Alpha because he was the most able bodied male of the forming pack. On the night he became alpha he helped Suzaku whom was tired, she used all of her energy to find the pack lands.

Lifting up his head from the small bow he made, ROnan felt his muscles loosen. The blood still trickled down the side of his arm, and he was steadily becoming more aware of the pain from the deep flesh wound.

"All prudence aside Keefe, it had been so long sence i had smelt your scent that i found it did faulter from my memory slightly." He did indeed, reconise the scent that was around the female right before he confronted her... but he couldnt put his paw on who's scent it was.

Ronan's muzzle cracked a small smile as he nodded towards Keefe as the purple male said 'No hard feelings'.

"Pleasure to meet you Nafeeza, i guess i should give myself a proper introduction no? My names Ronan, and this is my packs lands." He said indicating towards the area that was around him. The forest around them had gone still up until this point, from which it seemed to regain its life force. Little birds sould be heard twittering in the tree's as well as a squirrel or two ran past almost as if playing tag

Keefe
Nafeeza
Nafeeza nodded to Ronan's greeting but did not yet feel comfortable talking to him. If his attacking her wasn't enough to keep her silent, her own mortal embarassment was. Keefe's brother or not, she would be glad when they could leave this area and forget about what had happened.

Noticing the wound on the green male's shoulder, 'Eeza rememberd her own. The bleeding had stopped for the most part, blood caking her fur between and around the long claw marks. The wound was making her tired, slowly, and she was glad she had Keefe near to her side.
Keefe shifted about in his where he was standing, there was a pang of guilt eating away at him at the moment as he stared at the wound he had inflicted on his brother. He was sorry that their first meeting since they were pups had to turn out like this. The two had left eachother on a bitter note and picked up on the same spot. Yet Keefe was still glad to be by his brother, it amazed him how far he had come; from the younger pup in the litter to a noble alpha. Not much could be said for Keefe himself. He'd run off as a pup and now lived in a small pack hidden deep in the mountains. But whatever happened, no matter at what rank Ronan was at or how powerful he was, Keefe knew he was better off; he had Nafeeza. Now was his turn to apologize,

"Sorry about your shoulder Ronan, I wish I could take it back... Where is your erm.. mate, perhaps she can help; I'm no good at wounds"

He smiled light heartedly at his brother, if he was the alpha there was sure to be an alphess, wasn't there? Keefe was rather curious to see who his brother had picked to rule his lands with him. Keefe then turned to Naf and licked at her head, trying to get her to perk up as she usually did. She had been so excited to meet his family but that seemed to have faded; he didn't blame her though, she hadn't gotten a very warm welcome.

Suzkau
Nafeeza
((ooc: Okiiie! Pink, Dagi, and Lil are resuming the RP they had before everyone had to leave. XD This is kind of like a back-dated RP. Please ask before trying to jump in! <3))

Oh Lord, she knew those voices!

Suzkau urged her legs to move faster as she ran towards the sounds of the fight going on within the pack's temporary shelter. Ronan tended to keep close to she and Seneca's den, so it wasn't hard at all to notice the sounds of the scuffle. Now the phoenix made her stop, skidding to a hault in the dirt and grass and taking in the scene before her--

Keefe and Ronan's scent were practically SATURATING the area with aggression, a scent that she noticed was slowly making room for blood, Ronan's. It seemed she'd gotten there too late to prevent any misunderstandings, and looked to the third wolf-- a female --curious if she had been hurt. It seemed she was the center of this, as she recalled neither brother seemed to have malicious feelings towards the other. Some misundertanding, indeed.

"Sorry about your shoulder Ronan, I wish I could take it back... Where is your erm.. mate, perhaps she can help; I'm no good at wounds"

Suzaku gave a whisper of a whine from the back of her throat, the wolven eqivalent to clearing her throat to attain attention. She wouldn't call herself Ronan's mate, really, and felt a rare bit of heat rise around her ears and face. Thankfully wolf blushes were far from visible. Her head was raised, more to have a good look at the scenario than out of dominance, and her tail was perked also out of concern and previous alarm, not assertion.

She did, despite her own momentary embarassment, made her way to Ronan's side intending to take care of his shoulder-- but not before greeting them.

"It looks like I was a bit late for introductions..."

She redirected her gaze at Ronan, then started cleaning the wound. He wouldn't be able to reach it himself without some difficulty, and she gave all the question she intended to with that look.
Nafeeza noticed the figure moving outside their circle before she heard the polite whine of interruption. The appearance of the female was so perfectly timed, 'Eeza wondered if she hadn't been standing just out of the way, watching them and waiting for the perfect opportunity to intervene.

Despite everything that had happened that night, Nafeeza was amazed that she could still be suprised by anything. But she was not expecting Suzaku. Bathed in a coat of liquid fire, the wolf was a brilliant gold coated creature unlike anthing poor Naf had ever seen. She couldn't help it. She gaped. Fortunately, Suzaku didn't seem to be interested in making proper introductions, so she couldn't have noticed the complete lack of composure on Nafeeza's part.

Given the time to close her gaping trap, Nafeeza looked towards Keefe. Her eyes asked him if he knew this female. It was obvious she knew Ronan, for she cleaned his shoulder confidently enough. This was Ronan's mate, perhaps?

Yet still, despite the new arrival, 'Eeza had lost her spirit. Shame and bloodloss were her downfall, and she simply couldn't muster up the enthusiam to greet the new wolf. Quietly, she pressed against Keefe's side for comfort and steadiness, and waited.

Suzaku
Ronan
Keefe
Keefe let out a weary sigh as he looked from Ronan to Nafeeza, nudging her lightly and standing near her sheepish looking frame. He didn't blame her for anything that had happened between the two, he was just glad that she was here and safe for the most part. Keefe was still worried about her wounds but he didn't let is show in his expression; it was a stony, serious expression as usual.

There was a new scent in the wind and the dark wolf's head picked up, ear twitching lightly and nostrils flaring. This one was familiar. As the firey female came into view his memories of her came rushing back. He had met her during his visit to the freelands; she was rather friendly from what he remembered. What had been her name... Suz-something. She held herself in a high position, was this Ronan's mate? Boy, could he call 'em or could he call 'em? Keefe's dark head nodded solemnly in a greeting to the female,

"Just a bit miss... I'm Keefe if you remember, Ronan's brother. And this is Nafeeza, my friend"

Keefe gave a meager smile as Naf pressed closer to him. She was tired and weary from the fight, no need for her to stress out; he'd keep her safe even if it was from those he knew. Hopefully, the firey femme had no itentions on driving them out.

Ronan's deep colored fur around his face seemed to lighten slightly with the comment about a mate.

He then heard the voice behind him as Suza cleared her throat, tho he didnt move. The blood from his wound was starting to clot, but partly still ran freely. As the orange started to clean his wound he fely more releaved, the pain was still their... but it wasnt as searing. This wound would definatly leave a scar.

Thats right... Suzaku did indeed meet Naf and Keefe before. He remembered Suza telling him that they met, and Keefe had asked about himself.... Ronan now felt even worse about attacking Naf.

Naf and Keefe seemed to be very close, where their 'really' only friends..?

Ronan's face returned back to the normal dark green it was, he waved his tail back and forth and nodded towards Suza. "Thank you."
As the intensity of the fight began to ebb from the air Suzaku was able to think more clearly. Even for someone collected it was difficult to come in on such a situation and be able to decipher much past the scents that had been wafting about so strongly.

Once she was satisfied that the bleeding had stopped enough for the time being (and she'd have another look at it after a while--) Suzaku flared her nose and nudged Ronan's muzzle in answer to his thanks, then turned to the pair that had been "intruding". She recognized Keefe, he was the beta from the mountain pack, as he'd informed her. They'd agreed to try forming an alliance once the pack found land.

"Keefe, I do. It's nice seeing you again, and meeting you Nafeeza, though the circumstances seem a bit akward. I'm Suzaku."

She offered up an apologetic smile in regards to her slightly panicked state at her arrival. She hadn't even properly announced herself, but it was admittedly the last thing on her mind after being wakened like THAT. Finally her posture relaxed. She kept her head up, but allowed her tail to lower to a more neutral position and take up a small wag.

Her eyes roamed gently towards the shaken beta female, soft with... sympathy? Not quite pity, but soothing. "Are you two alright?"
