Sky was under on her number as well. She didn't have many people who she would ask to come. "Seven." She answered him. "Grandma, dad, mom, Ashley, Tristan, Tristan's boyfriend Conan, and Evan who is my partner when it comes to doing the whole dream business." She had seven people right there. Conan was going be dragged in because he had been dating for seven or so years. "What do you think? Is there anything else we need to think about? I figure everything could be simple."

 Show Me How To Lie....
It seemed that they had come under the set number, but at least that left a little wiggle room. He did his best to ignore the mention of family, already a bit depressed that his parents and sister would never be there to see him married or his first child. "When?" was the final question that really mattered, and he wondered if she would want to do it before the baby bump got noticeable or after it was born. Or if she actually carried about it showing in her wedding dress. "Also, what's in the box?" she hadn't answered him when he answered earlier, and he was curious. He couldn't reach it, what with his only workable hand holding her. "And do you happen to have any asprin?"

Sky hadn't really thought about that. If they did it sooner no one could say their baby was born out of wedlock and it would please her mother. If they did it later then they wouldn't have just a quick shotgun wedding. "I don't know. I don't want it to look like a shotgun wedding, which it may end up being." She answered him before she remembered the box. "What else do you put in a ring box and then propose to someone?" She thought he could have guessed it by himself. "If you want asprin then you're out of luck. I only have some sleeping dust, but you don't need that till you go to sleep."

Show Me How To Lie....
Pulling away from Sky just enough so that he could reach the box, he struggles to open it with his one good hand. "Aspirin?" he asked in return to her statement about a ring box, though he was simply joking. His injured hand was hurting, but it seemed he was out of luck. Giving up on the box, he sets it on the bed. "Who cares what it looks like?" he scoffed, flapping his now free hand. It didn't really matter to him what other people thought, as it didn't really take away from the meaning of it. "I don't think men wear engagement rings, Sky. Unless they're marrying other men." he joked, flashing her a smile. If it looked like a stereotypical engagement ring, he was certainly not going to wear it.

Sky rolled her eyes. It almost seemed like he was embarrassed about the idea of wearing it. "They do make engagement rings for guys. It's jut they have more for girls because who is the one who usually proposes?" The woman pointed out then smiled at her boyfriend. "What don't want all those female students see it on you?" She teased him before giggling. She was going to give him a hard time if he didn't wear it.

Rolling his eyes, the redhead raised his good hand to his heart. "Oh, my poor students. Their hearts shall be broken." he was being dramatic, though his voice was quite convincing. "How will I keep those rascals in line if they know I am no longer available?" he joked, teasing her back. He handed her the box, silently asking her to open it for him. "I'll tell you what." he started, eyeing the box. "I'll wear it if you wear one." he finished, thinking of what sort of ring she would actually like. "That's fair, yes?" it would put them as equals in the relationship, and he would argue that point if she objected.

Sky giggled about his student. There was no way that she would give up Adney for anyone. His fangirls will soon be replace by her and their son. That was all the cheerleaders that he needed. Then he turned the talk to about the rings. He was only going to wear one if she did. "Fine, but nothing fancy and no diamonds." She warned. If she saw one diamond she would me upset and there would be a lecture if she saw one.

Glad that she didn't argue the point, he looked away from the box he had handed her. "Why no diamonds?" if the only objection was price, she was in for an argument. "I haven't spent money on anything but food and holiday presents for almost seven years. I can afford one measly diamond." most of the things in his apartment had been given to him by the school, so it wasn't as if he had spent tons of money on it. "Why can't I buy you something nice?" he was attempting to turn the tides, but he wouldn't push if she wanted to argue. No, he knew how Sky could get, and he didn't want to start a fight.

Sky was going to say pricing just to get him to agree until he started to talk about the things that he hadn't bought in a long while. "Their ugly. I rather just have a simple ringlet then an ugly diamond. They also cost more and it's too girly." She told him. She always saw all those girly girls wearing them and she wasn't a girly girl. She liked something a little more sporty and something that was more her. The woman placed a hand on her belly. She pushed her belly. It was a curious thing to be pregnant.

Allowing this reason, it was a very Sky answer, he sighed. "Fine, fine." he conceded, thinking about the wiggle room in design that he was given. An engagement ring couldn't be the exact same as a wedding ring, after all, so it was bound to have some sort of design or something. "Silver or gold?" this was another important question, as everyone seemed to have a preference. Personally, he liked the pewter silver, though this was mostly because it reminded him of guns. He hoped that, like Sky's eventual engagement ring, his didn't have any stones; stones were, he agreed, more girlish. He noticed that she was touching her stomach, and he reached to touch it to. "Are you sure there's a kid in there? It's still so flat." he meant her stomach, which held no signs of a baby.

Sky hadn't thought about what she wanted the metal to be. In this case she really didn't care about what she got. "I don't care about the metal." She just didn't want diamonds. Then Adney came over and put her hand on her belly. It was a little firmer than before a sign that her body was starting to prepare for it to go with the baby. Her breast also had become a little larger. "Yes and his name is Blair Tearston Sol and you're the father." She teased him about it. she had been athletic before this and now she was going to get fat. "I'm going to get fat from this." She added.

With no restrictions on the ring, beyond no diamonds, Adney's mind ran free with design. Oh, the choices to be made. Maybe he could find something similar to the ring she had gotten him, if he ever got to actually see the damn thing. He smiled as she reassured him there was a kid in there, though he still wasn't completely reassured. He couldn't help but laugh at her statement about getting fat, shaking his head. "I don't care if you're fat." he flapped his good hand at her, showing that it didn't really matter. "Besides, think of the effect it will have on your chest." he teased, knowing that expecting and young mothers tended to have bigger breasts. He was more of a leg man, like his brother, but that didn't stop him from teasing her.

Sky's face burst out in red. She even covered her chest as if her breast were already the side of melons. Did he really have to say something like that. "I rather be a tall, skinny, blond." The woman said imaging herself now, before see starts to even look close to being pregnant. Sky didn't need to wear heels to look tall. "they'll be for the baby soon enough." She told him. If she was going to be a mom then she was going to do it right. She was going to breastfeed.

Laughing openly at Sky's reaction, he held his stomach with his good hand from the force of it. Oh, she was so funny. This was going to be fun. "I like a woman with a bit of meat on her bones." women who were too skinny weren't nearly as attractive, and he would rather enjoy Sky getting a bit bigger. She was so skinny, after all. "Ah, so there's the downside. I have to share with another man." he shook his head regretfully, as if this were a most unfortunate occurrence. How would he live, being forced to share his lovely almost wife with another? Even though that 'other' was his son.

Sky was going to lose the weight by default when she was able to take her morning jogs again. Adney may get some meat for the first month or two after that all that was going to remain was her breast. "It's your own fault." She teased him about having to share her body with another man. It was partly his fault and partly hers. "Well you're going to have to deal with it. At least Cam get's his own room again until the baby is born." She poked fun of her soon to be brother-in-law. Secretly she was plotting revenge by having Cam care for Blair when she was sleeping.
