Norvie had made plans. His booth was going to be.... AMAZING! It would draw a crowd for sure if everything went right. Alright, so this wasn't Science Fair, but that didn't mean he couldn't have fun with it! He chittered happily to himself as he carefully and painstakingly set up each stage of his Rube Golberg. A line of dominoes here, a slide with a reactive series of chemicals there, a tire that would be pushed here to roll into a pan there, and so on and so forth until they'd cause a chain of reaction that would end in a spectacular surprise, but it all needed to be set up JUST RIGHT- he'd only get one shot before he'd have to set it up all again....
Unfortunately, about halfway through, his tail knocked into a carefully balanced contraption, and the whole thing suddenly clattered into chaos around him.
"Ah... wait... wait NO NOT YET!!" At least he dodged to stop the Bunsen burner from erupting in flame and combusting the final fireworks.
There... there was still hope, right?

For some reason, they really wanted to stay and listen to Dabir talk. It was confusing. Maybe they really liked his wheezy voice???

Alright, the heap was... sort of set up again. He had to simplify a lot, considering the chemicals had been spent and sent suds flying everywhere in the vicinity of his booth, and there was no time for the dominoes anymore.
Norvie would try one more time, smiling brightly in his clean lab-coat, his hair sticking out of the top of his pumpkin mask. He could still make a splash! Maybe get a job as an assistant to a mad scientist who still knew where his heart was, right?
He made to set off the device one more time, praying to entice people in with a bright smile.
Unfortunately, when the ridiculous device hit it's final climax, the fuse fizzled and sputtered.
He frowned, turning to examine what the problem might be just in time for the explosive to go off, promptly engulfing the monster-rat with fire and smoke. Coughing, he staggered backward, just in time to see a few onlookers shake their heads, laughing, and saunter off.
Drat.
He was a sad rat.

May was about to respond when Arcana came up blathering to Selene about seeing the other booths and spending time with each other. It was so painfully obvious to everyone that they liked each other. May rolled her eyes and smiled as they talked, happy that they had each other.
When he asked if she wanted to join though, May said, "Oh no, no it's fine. You two go! I have to watch my booth anyways- I don't have a second hand!" She chuckled and gestured to her very empty booth. The long and short of it was that May didn't want to become a third wheel.
Carafe began hissing happily, eager to go see the rest of the park, when May grabbed his tail. "Oh no you don't! Someone has to stay and watch Selene's booth mister!"
Carafe stared back unhappily. "But ... May I wanna-"
"WATCHING. THE BOOTH."
His decision was made for him.

Despite his mood and the clear lack of effort in his table, somehow the behemoth was getting far more attention than he had bargained for. Why? How? Did they not see the other tables that actually HAD things for display? Because really, here there was nothing really to see other than his muddy boots and his crudely carved pumpkin mask.

When the fire was out, and the chaos had settled, Norvie was left alone in what could only be described as a heap of junk and ash. Alright, maybe setting up booths was not his strong point. He wouldn't cry. He wouldn't. He was never going to find a job. Final Score: 5

Malcolm was... Not looking forward to this part.
If he put too much work into it, people might think that he's some kind of a nerd or geek or something equally uncool. However, not putting any work into it would probably be equally uncool... Seeing how this was the 'final countdown', and he would need a job. Sighing, he set up a small table, and threw a tablecloth over it, before dragging a chair to be put behind the table.
He then put several figurines of various minipets up on the table; as much as he would love to hide it, he was a shaman. Minipets... Were probably his best shot at getting a decent job, and the fact that he actually had a soft spot for them was just the icing on the cake.

Now that the booth had been set up, Malcolm just sort of... Sat there.
Maybe it was the fact that he had tied his hair back into a ponytail, or maybe it was the fact that he was actually wearing a nice button-up shirt and a pair of shoes today, rather than running around barefooted, and wearing some plain t-shirt... Or maybe it was just the adorable minipet figurines that he had displayed on the table that people kept asking about - and no, they were not made by him, nor were they on sale.
Either way, the attention he received was pretty good.
He was secretly pleased.

Cricket was half-slumped in her seat when Manny had wandered by, not giving any particular passerby a lingering glance, but looking up when she heard her name.
She lifted her hand to wave it weakly back. "Hey." she replied, about ready to prop her legs up on the table. "I have no idea what you just said, but this whole set up is kind of a drag."

Fortunately, with just his little shrine set up and the casual chatter with those who came to examine his table, Skylar had managed to keep more than enough people interested. In fact, long enough that in the end, several of those who visited had given him their cards. Surprising him.
Did this please him?
Oh yes! Definitely! It gave him high hopes that after he graduated that he might actually have a successful career as a working denizen of Halloween. He only hoped that his friends were having the same amount of luck as he was.

"OH YOU KNOW IT BABY, ANYTIME." Bella yelled back at Dis, laughing happily before starting to put away all the pictures she'd laid out. The entire idea had been so stupid - and it had gotten her the wrong kind of attention. But attention was attention.. at least she wasn't like that geek with the blown up booth, rocking back and forth like he was about to cry.
"DIS, I THINK SOMEONE SLIPPED ME A PROTECTION CHARM, IS THAT A JOB OFFER?"
She screamed across the entire field, thoroughly soaking up all the looks she received.

The Reaper gave a cheerful smile in return, "It's Tagalog for How Are You, but no big deal. I think this whole thing is kinda pointless if you've already figured out what you're going to be doing with your life. But I guess not everyone has," he canted his head in thought, "Have you?" He was being unusually assertive, probably because it dawned on him that they were all graduating soon and he may well never have another chance like this to talk to the ghoul ever again.

A passing figure with a leering mask knelt down an patted the monstrous rat. "Hey, don't look so down. One of the guests asked me to bring you this." They handed Norvie a large, official looking envelope and walked off. ROLL FOR GLITTER Roll 1 d10 to determine how much glitter Norvie gets bombed with! 1-5: Just enough to give his booth some extra OOMPH! Add it to your final score! 6-10: Glitter Herpes for an entire day. In the distance, the figure passed several more booths, their laughter soft but decidedly obnoxious.

"I like minipets," He started, looking at the people who had crowded around his booth with his poker face, "It is a secret... Although I guess it is no longer a secret, as I am coming out today."
The fact that his words sounded so wrong, but he looked so serious and genuine about his love for minipets, was probably the only reason why people stuck around, and later gave him their name card... Although as they left, they too had a poker face on.

The young rat-man glanced up as someone approached, an excited sparkle to his eyes as he quickly leaped to his feet. "Thank you, sir! Er, who exactly, do you know?" Was it that man with the particularly impressive large white head of hair and full mustache? His coat was so white and clearly he was an influential Man of Science, maybe he needed an apprentice or...
he opened the letter excitedly, with baited breath....
Suddenly, he was engulfed in a explosion of glittered, sticking to the chemicals he had spilled all over.
Well. At least his labcoat was now a bit more eye catching?
He continued to look like he wasn't about to cry.
