Hearing her comment about staying up late, Kyle chuckled lightly as he scratched the back of his head. "Heh heh... Yeah, I had a long night. I'm sure that the test won't be a problem, but it was something else that caught my attention." Opening his backpack up, he pulled out the newspaper cover from yesterday, plus three older ones. All four had involved the incidents with Destroya and the warehouses, but there was a spot on all four that had been circled in ink. "After watching the news after school about the latest warehouse incident, I actually took interest in what you said... you know, about this other being besides the Creator... Destroya, right? Anyway. Watching the video, I noticed something that I had to check. Three other warehouse incidents, right? Maybe they were actually linked in some way. So, I checked... After a long while, I think I found the link. Check it out."

What was marked on the newspapers were small text in various angles. If looked at closely, there was an obvious similarity between them all. The same company name...

Adrianna stood up and walked over to sit in the desk just in front of him and turned in the seat to see exactly what he meant. She raised an eyebrow and said, "Really? You've got to be kidding me." Her voice sounded as if it were surprised and yet bored with it all at the same time, making it seem like something that only Adrianna would say. She was a very convincing actress, as he would later learn if he ever did. She read the newspaper articles several times through, pretending as if she hadn't read them before. "The same company... but what is this company doing that's pissing Destroya off?" She asked and looked up at him, her amber eyes filled with fake curiosity. "I mean, it's a medical company that does a bunch of cancer research. My grandma had cancer a year or so ago and this is where she was treated, so I know the company and am extremely grateful that they use so much money for such a good cause."

She sat back and pushed her bangs out of her face, pretending to think deeply about it. "Now I'm going to be researching more than studying since you've intrigued me so." She said with a small smile. Then she took out a handwritten copy of the notes an handed them to him. "This sums up the last couple of chapters, since this is counted as a large chunk of our grade this semester. I would hate for a brilliant mind to be taken down a notch because you were too busy making awesome observations."

Hearing Adrianna's response, Kyle gave a smile back to her as she then handed him her notes about the subjects for class. Chuckling once more, he then said, "If that's true, having another brilliant mind researching this would be very helpful. Thank you."

Turning his gaze toward her notes now, he began to study over everything. As he did this, though, a part of his mind wandered off. Adrianna's hair... Unless there was someone else out there that had her hair color, there was no mistaking it. She was Destroya... It was ironic, too. If he was right, then she was an amazing actor, not once making it obvious as to her true identity. If he was wrong, then... well, he was wrong. Despite her ability to act, though, she may have given him the connection that fit the relationship between Destroya and the company. He would have to look this up at some point... For now, though, the test awaited him.

Adrianna nodded, happy that she could be of some help. She wanted to help him in order to make things a little more complicated, making the game more intriguing. She loved it when her mind was put to the test, and she rarely, if ever, failed. She turned back and continued to study the newspapers before she handed them back to him, "Perhaps, together, we could see if they own any other property?" She asked. "I mean, if what you're saying is true, then I think we should look deeper into this. Then we could either let the police know or see if our hunches are correct. Then perhaps we'll get a chance to see Desrtoya and the Creator in action. I'm sure that he's gotten this in the bag by now."

Then she turned back in her seat, her eyes drifting over the messages and words carved into the wood, wondering why people enjoyed making test taking worse, then again, she enjoyed the knowledge that humans were just as destructive as she was, but only that she chose to destroy in various fashions that humans were incapable of performing. About fifteen minutes later, the teacher stepped into the room just as the bell rang and began to pass out the large pile of papers that was nothing other than test. She took her test and passed the last set of pages back to him before beginning the test in which she believed was too easy. Her mind worked fast, but his mind seemed to work faster.

Taking back the newspaper as Adrianna asked her question and made her statements, Kyle smiled lightly at her before nodding. That would definitely be useful. At the other hand, though, this might potentially give Destroya more targets... Finishing up her notes as the teacher walked in, Kyle handed Adrianna back her notes and prepared for the test. Once it was set up in front of him, he began his test and worked moderately fast on it. The test felt simple enough, but he knew that he wasn't nearly as intelligent as Adrianna. After all, she was one in the class that had the best grades.

By the time that the test was over, it seemed as f the rest of the school day sped by like a wildfire for Adrianna. She was walking to her locker when she noted that there was something strange in the air. Is that... smugness? She asked herself as she reached her locker and opened it up to find that her violin case had been opened and that the beautiful instrument had been smashed to smithereens. Standing there in horror and disbelief, she could hear the muffled laughter of the students that had done it to her. No... no, this is just a dream. This is just a dream. This is just a dream.

This was the first time in her life that she felt truly astonished and outsmarted. Of course someone would have noticed her most precious possession and would destroy it. It was as if they were trying to take away the only happiness that she ever felt in the cruelest and sickest of ways. She felt her eyesight going dark as her eyes began to partially glow, she closed her eyes and grinned demonically. They don't know who I am. They don't know that I could break them like my violin and make sure that they were still alive to endure every moment of it until I found no more pleasure in it.

She turned around and, holding up the broken violin, felt tears springing into her eyes, which had gone back to normal. She had fought back Destroya for the moment. She would fight back her true self until she could fight no longer.

"Looks like we found her weak point." Said one of them, giving the other a high five as they turned to walk away. "I submit that she won't have the guts to tryout for the competition, which my little sister is going to win if it's the last thing I ensure."

Adrianna didn't look at them, she simply held the violin close to her as she sunk to the ground, clutching it as if it were a child. She lowered her face so that no one would see the tears that rolled down her cheeks. "Don't worry... don't worry... it's just a violin, Adrianna. It's just... a... spider's thread of hope... it's just a violin." She said to herself over and over again, being completely ignored by the entire student body as they simply continued on with their schedules. For the millionth time in her life, she was glad that she was invisible. Especially as she stood up and packed up the things that she would need and walked out to the empty courtyard and sat underneath the tree that she had sat underneath the day before with Kyle.

In all honesty, had Kyle not looked at Adrianna's notes in detail before the test, his day would have been less enjoyable. Since he did, though, he was happy about things right now and continued on his day as if nothing bad could ever happen. It was later, though, that something caught his sight as he walked the halls. For a split moment, he had seen Adrianna holding something, which seemed completely smashed and broken, close to her. A few seconds later, he overheard a conversation that froze him. They did what?! This was bad... if she really was Destroya, they didn't how seriously ******** up things could get right then and there! Turning back, he looked for Adrianna but couldn't find her where she had been a moment ago. And thus began his search...

It took a bit, but eventually Kyle found his way back outside, his mind and eyes searching frantically for Adrianna. And there he found here... underneath the tree from yesterday. Standing far off at first, not knowing how to approach her at this time, he slowly began to walk. Slow at first, but eventually gaining speed, he approached right up to her. Instead of speaking, though, he stood there in silence. Now he could see this weak point of hers... Though smashed, it clearly used to be a violin...

"Anna..." he stated silently.

Adrianna continued to sit there in the shade of the tree, her forehead against her knees as she gripped the broken instrument to her chest. She heard footsteps coming and expected it to be a teacher coming to ask her if she was alright or if she needed to 'talk'. She had gotten that plenty of times by the kind teachers, but she had always given them looks that made sure that they would never ask her such a thing again. It wasn't like she could tell them of her powers to destroy, that she felt compelled to destroy everything every moment after the awakening of her power. If she said to them what she thought, then they would turn her into the police and she would become a lab rat.

Finally, after a few minutes of the mysterious person standing there, they spoke and she knew instantly who it was. "I... don't think I'll be able to help you research today." She said, pulling as much inner strength as she could without relying on hatred or anger to do so. She involuntarily hugged the violin tighter, feeling the wood dig into her cheek. "I knew that they didn't like me... but to do something like this... and they say that Destroya is cruel. I was so tempted to just... never mind... but I fought back. I made sure that she wouldn't hurt them."

Listening to her speaking, Kyle slowly took a seat down beside her. The more she spoke though, the more he began to question something. "She? Who is she, Anna?"

Despite the fact that he might have known who she was speaking, her current mood warranted another question. Lifting his hand up, he then gently brushed her hair away from her face. "Anna... If you're okay with it... If you want me to... I could try to repair the violin for you. I mean... I know how to fix things up well..." He wasn't sure how sore of a subject it was for her at the moment, but he felt it necessary to ask.

Adrianna cringed a little when he took a seat beside her, moving an inch or so away from him, tempted to kill the grass that they sat on to make him back away from her. "She's... well, she's my split personality, of sorts. I don't like to talk about it, but I have multiple personality disorder." She was literally lying through her teeth. "When I was little, they diagnosed me with it, because I would randomly begin to attack other people when I wouldn't normally do so. My parents worried that I would simply lose it altogether and so it's been unusually quite for the past couple of years." I hate lying, especially to someone who is so nice.... If he knew who I really was, I'm sure that he wouldn't think of me as a friend, but as a monster.

Then when he reached out and brushed her hair away, several of the leaves above them whither and died, dropping to the ground, she hesitated to look at him, but when he said that he could fix things, she couldn't help but smile and shake her head. "It's just a silly violin... and it's beyond any hope of being repaired." She bit her lip and looked back at her knees. Emotions are sickening... if only I could destroy those, that would be at the top of my to-do list. Then, she suddenly felt a small flicker of something that she hadn't felt before. Trust. She hated the word, because trust was more easily broken than made, but what he spoke was true.

She swallowed and gently released the pathetic scrap of wood and strings before holding to him. "If you can't fix it, then please feel free to burn it or do with it as you please. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at it again like it is without simply going totally bonkers."

Listening to her response, Kyle mentally thought about it. A split personality... How much of that true could have been true, if she truly was Destroya? Was she simply lying about this, truly willing to destroy whatever she could? Or was she speaking the truth, the other part of her a dormant cycle that had recently attempted to break out? As he spoke to her about the violin, though, his eyes caught sight of something. A dead leaf... It was too early for this to happen by chance...

Taking everything from the violin that Adrianna gave him, he held it in his hands as he nodded to her in understanding. Unzipping his backpack, he began to carefully place the parts piece by piece into the large front pouch. This way, they wouldn't take more damage than possible, and his books wouldn't weigh it down in some way. Setting his bag aside, he looked at her for a moment longer. "Anna... it must have been important to you. I'm sorry..." With that, he hesitantly wrapped his arms around her back and held her close to his side. He didn't try a full hug as he wasn't sure what her response to this one would have been. Still, she needed some level of comfort and reassurance... He just didn't know the proper way to do so.

Adrianna watched as he placed the violin in his bag and felt as if a part of her had also been broken along with the instrument. "I'm sorry to have caused you this." She said quietly, knowing that it was about time that she went home and did her homework before sleeping until one in the morning. She had planned on destroying another warehouse to test the Creator, but now she wasn't feeling up to destroying that warehouse. She was up to destroying every building in that area. She watched as his eyes darted, if only momentarily to the dead leaf and made several others in the tree look as if they, too, were dying in order to make it look more natural.

When he wrapped his arms around her in a slightly awkward hug, she felt herself begin to panic for the second time that day. The only person that ever hugged her was her mother, and even then she didn't hug the woman back unless she felt it truly necessary. In a way, it frightened her. What if she really went all out and destroyed the city? She wouldn't be able to simply save him personally, because once a chain of destruction began, it only ceased once she deemed it worthy of being called done. "It... I need to get going." She quickly said as she pushed herself away and stood and walked as quickly as possible back to her home.

The moment that she was locked inside of her room, she sat down in front of her computer and wondered how much she could allow herself to destroy this evening in order to release the emotions that flickered within her, coming to life again. They're receiving a shipment... that means I could destroy the ship, the docks, and that other warehouse. She thought to herself, trying to push away the gratitude for Kyle that had bloomed within her.

When Adrianna had ran off after the hug, Kyle watched her go in silence. She was distraught at the moment, and he didn't need to make it any worse than he just had... Looking over to his side, he saw more dead leaves and shrugged. If it was simply coincidence, then the season had started early. When school was over for the male, he returned home and, after greeting his mother once more, headed up to his room. There, he sat his backpack down gently upon the floor and moved over to his computer. There was something important he had to look up at this moment... Searching for information about Adrianna was simple as he knew her full name. But he was looking for something else... There, her grandmother. Taking her name, he began to search through every source he could find, uncovering what he could about this woman. If he encountered a password-locked entry, he just created one that would work, ultimately allowing him in.

(OOC: I'm not sure exactly what I'll find, if I find anything at all. I need you to help me on this. XP)

Adrianna also looked up her grandmother by using the medical research center's site. Upon hacking in, she reread all of the information that she had known like the back of her hand for the past couple of years. To a normal viewer visiting the site, it would have told them that Maria Neverhart had died at sixty-seven years of age from cancer while being treated by the center. But when it was hacked into, more information was granted; especially about the main cause of her death.

The woman had believed that she had cancer and so went to the center in order to be diagnosed with an unidentified species of cancer. It went to show that she hadn't been diagnosed with the cancer until the week before her death. She had simply been ill up until the end of their 'cancer' treatment and testing. Instead, they had created a form of cancer and could inject it into people's systems by giving them shots and 'radiation therapy'. It was also rumored to be able to be spread through water and consumable items, just like a sickness, but was certainly deadly. It sapped the life out of a person within the course of seven days time. It also spoke of how she had been only one of few 'patients' that had been diagnosed with a fake cancer or illness. The center was only a branch of this same research and distribution of this created cancer, which intended to begin trying to make the cancer as contagious as the common cold.

By the time she had finished reading through all of the information, she got to her homework and went straight to sleep. When she woke at one in the morning, she then dressed in her darkest clothing and went to the docking area where they were going to import all of the new materials for the next stage of research. It was a pill that was supposed to make a human immune to getting sick, and she knew that it meant the exact opposite. She stood on the edge of the docks, her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes scanning the coastal area, just waiting for the boat to show its hideous face.

It had taken a while to harvest the information needed, but when he did... it wasn't something Kyle was glad to see. Sitting there in silence, he closed his eyes and sighed. He had more proof of to Adrianna's true identity, staring him in the face right now. It wouldn't explain many motives for her desire of destruction, but... it at least explained why she was attacking the warehouses. She was exacting vengeance... and saving others at the same time. But how to confront her about it?

Deciding that this wasn't the best course of thought to be taking, Kyle pushed the thought aside. Now, taking the pieces out of the bag and placing them neatly upon his other bare table, he looked upon the mess with concern. Closing his eyes, he created in his own mind the idea of how to rebuild it, like a master repairer of sorts. Reopening his eyes, he began to work, creating tools when needed and recreating missing parts with ease. By the time he was finished, it was close to one in the morning. Looking up at the clock, he gave a yawn as he, unknowing of Destroya's next plan, prepped and went to sleep...
