"O-of course I can Goldy. I would never make your chest burst like that.." Rin looked distinctly concerned. Sasha was acting especially unusual and it had her all kinds of worried.

Sasha exhaled harshly, lips pursed. "And.. I mean, I'm.. I don't think he'd.. he'd drink but. I mean, I never.. I mean. My papa was an alcoholic too, and like.. I don't."
She shook her head.
"I hope that's not what's going on."

Rin blinked and frowned, "He is?"
"S-sorry for saying that then. I mean like. If I'm wrong. I wasn't like... making fun or anything, I didn't know."
She was especially frazzled looking. She was so certain Sasha must of been stung by her accusation of Jerry. He was her... well... Rin doesn't know what he is to Sasha exactly.
"I didn't know." she repeated before adding, "I wont tell anyone though, I promise."

Sasha reached out to rest a hand over Rin's.
"I know you.. of course you didn't know. I only knew because.. well. I don't know. This just.. I think this trip came at a bad time for him, though.. I had hoped, you know."
Sasha shook her head.
"I had hoped he'd found a new way to be happy. With me, you know?"
Bad thoughts.
"I bet it's just his phone. That's all it is, and here I am, like... worrying about nothing."

Rin offered Sasha a very sad smile, "No point dwelling on possibles, let's try to just enjoy the island to ourselves with the men off doing ******** knows what."
She raised her brows and offered a big smile before wiggling said brows.
"So this sandwich..." she pointed with the hand Sasha didn't presently have claim of.

Sasha's lips lifted slightly in a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Yes. The sandwich."
The muscles in her jaw working, Sasha released Rin's hand so that the woman could enlighten Sasha on the topic of sandwiches.

Rin was sad to feel Sasha's hand go but she continued, "I refuse to use anything with runes on it but if we ever get regular normal eggs you could add those on... or whatever else you like ... and then crown it all with sliced chicken~"
Rin proceeded to pile on a slice or two, "then this is done. You can either repeat the order in reverse for a bigger sandwich or crown it at this point with another slice of bread."
She gave Sasha a curious look hoping this somehow distracted her, "Got all that?"

Rin looked around fleetingly before frowning. Okay, she's going to need a bigger distraction than this. No question.
"Um." she looked thoughtful, "Would you like to see a movie? Like, instead?"

Sasha crossed her arms over her chest, glancing at Rin out of the corner of her eyes as she kept up with the pacing.
"No. I need my flute. Can we go get my flute?"
Sasha started wringing her hands.
"Please?"

Just so that if she did need to play, she could. The anxiety over what Jerry could possibly be doing - that he could be drinking, that he might be drinking - was enough to set her nerves on edge.
"He's probably not drinking. He wouldn't. He's recovering, and he .. he knows. He knows my papa drank. He knows, so he wouldn't. Even if it is a party. Or maybe, if he is drinking, he's only, like. Drinking a little. I guess that wouldn't be... as bad, right? But he wouldn't, Rin. Not.. not now. Not after he wrote me that song, and not .. not now."
