"Coffee just tastes like coffee to me," She shrugged, and then raised an eyebrow, "Dunkin Donuts? Never tried their coffee, but mmm, donuts... Would love a donut right now."

"Lots of things you can do with it. And uh. Think I saw some donuts left up there. If you really wanted one," Deryk said while looking towards the counter areas.
"If not... oh well."

Since there was only one type of donut available - the plain, sugared ones, even if the sugar had already melted from being out in the open too long - she piled two on top of each other on a napkin, and brought it back to the table. Taking one for herself, she then pushed the napkin towards Deryk.
"Let's hope this doesn't give us diarrhea or worse," She held up the donut towards Deryk, proposing a toast, "Cheers, and to not dying."

Deryk gave a bit of a nervous chuckle before taking a donut and tapping it lightly against Ariane's.
"To not dying. Not dying is definitely good," he agreed before taking a bite. It was... alright. Definitely not the best donut he could have, but he guess it would do for now.
Next time they went out, he was going to need to get some fresh donuts.

"Although I told Jude that if anything happened to me," She took a bite out of the donut, making a face when she realized that these must had been out on the counter for a while now. Chewing and then swallowing, she waved the donut at him, "You get my hair dyes." Since he was the one who gave them to her in the first place.

"Wait me? Why me? Wouldn't it be better to go to someone who also dyes their hair a lot?" Deryk blinked before taking another bite out of the donut.
Eh. It was edible.
