DDDDDDDD8 Why was his Bro ripping taking his shirt off? Wait wait wait, why were all the guys (himself and Tedan excluded) shirtless? And what was this about it being the rules? Who the ******** thought it up!? It wasn't as if Before was a prude or anything, he was just more than a tiny bit self-conscious about his appearance especially when he had the likes of Leon to compete with.
He just thanked god that a certain female Lifer wasn't around to see this. He was sure to get friend-zoned if that was the case ;A; N-not that he had any sort of feelings for said Lifer! NOPE! NOPE! WHAT GAVE YOU THAT IDEA?! And somehow in his mental rambling, Bix managed to get the Misty shirtless.
"Wait! Bro! How? Whu-?!" Before flailed, pulling Vanna in front of him to hide his now-naked torso. Really, he was nothing to write about, he just had the usual amount of bruises and scars that the average trainee who had gone through the Haunted House, the Sahara (twice now), the North Pole, Alaska, and the numerous encounters with those wretched Halloween creatures would have. But when compared to most of the guys, the back of Bix's for example, Before was pretty well off. Which made him even more self-conscious and worried that he'd be thought a slacker and not pulling his weight.
From the corner of his eye, he saw the young Deather go to town on the creature. "Yeah! Go Al!!" And to prove (mostly to himself) that Before wasn't a slacker, he darted towards the Phoenix to draw its attention away from Aleister. As the wing smacked into Before's body, Before took a swing at it. Metal spikes dug into gray plumage and FEAR was siphoned into the large wheel with a crackle. In the back of Before's mind, a face wrought from metal sighed in delight at the charge.
"Hey yo, I remember you! Bix's partner at Sahara, yeah? Mind showing us why Sunnys know how to tear things up?" he grinned encouragingly at Tedan then Bix.

Marcus growled, "Well supposedly all guys got the text and, do you really want to call the girls over for this?" Marcus was in his underthings. He might have a bit of confidence in how he looked but really, not that much. Looking to Bix and his shirtless inducing ways, Marcus just shook his head. Yep. Did not want female back up at this rate. "We can take this down, or did we all suddenly become a bunch of weak dicks?" "Y-yeah! No girls here please, unless when I ain't around," >.>a Before agreed with Marcus on that level, though he was tempted to suggest they make an exception for a certain female Sunny but the next thing he knew, the Moonie was once again making with the trash talk. Okay so maybe some of the guys actually found that encouraging but it had the total opposite effect on the Misty.
So even with someone warding off the Phoenix's retaliation, Before's attack ended up completely ineffective. 8CCCCCC

"Who's a weak d**k? I AM STRONG d**k!" He yelled like a cave man and gave Marcus a look. This of course was from the guy who used to yell 'BALLS!' when he ran into battle.
Apparently it helped though and he unleashed a tight grouping into the phoenix.

Leon was at the point of face faulting. Not because of the phoenix and its resiliancy, but from Bix screaming about his strong phallus. "I knew someone was going to say that." he muttered behind the chainsaw as he jumped and tried to swing at the flying beast. "However, the mission did say to remove shirts and pants maybe it could be applied to the females too?" he spoke up briefly, letting the thought and its implications hang in the air. Oh Bix, that wasn't really the best thing to say. Even Marcus knew that, (well, he might have said something along those lines, but was wasn't about to yell about d**k strength). "Better when no girls around, they might ask about said strong dicks." He shook his head. "But as much as I would love to see tits and a**, the idea of you guys oogling Cass? "Whoa hey, what!?" Tedan half-yelled as Bix started trying to rip his shirt off. It wasnt like it was a super expensive piece of clothing or anything but that's didn't mean he wanted it ripped up! "Just chill, i'll take it off, okay?" Pulling away from Bix, he yanked the shirt off. "Happy now?" Then he turned his attention back to the no rather ragged looking phoenix. And charged it again. There were just ten million shades of awkward for the Misty. On the one hand, he had zero issues with guys being topless or hell, being naked even. On the other hand, he had about a metric ******** of them when he was one of said topless guys >A
"In all seriousness, why is being topless particularly necessary for this mission? It hasn't exactly improved our chances in taking that thing down," Before whined as the Phoenix's tail feathers swatted at him just after he managed to land a blow on the thing.

Leon tried to say back to lanky Before as he swatted at the flying annoyance as it flew past. another outburst of anger and a few more feathers floated to the ground.The boxer was pleased as punch. "I dunno what you're talking about, i think i'm on a roll." he boasted cockily.
There might have been a little bit of a leo strut in their too as he chased after it.

When Marcus moved in to fend away a wing, Before took the opportunity to attack while the Phoenix was distracted. Problem was, the Misty overheard the talk of someone watching and his aim faltered. "Wait what we're being watched?!" Call it performance anxiety but Before became even less comfortable with his lack of a shirt than ever OAO!!!!

Candace just happened to be in the dorms looking for some clothes or something. Girl things. She was just there.
She saw a half-dead phoenix and watched with a wince as Aleister attacked it only to miss. Great, another creature appeared nearby.
Sighing, Candace summoned Atropos and literally ran in kicked off its head...and kept running out without another word.
