Mina had been charged for longer than she liked. When the new monster appeared and slashed at him, he found the weapon practically forcing him to use his charge. It was a new attack and he wasn't quite used to it yet. He pulled his arrow and it began to glow, getting brighter and longer and collecting all of the energy that he had gathered.
When he released it the backlash was too much and his aim was off, crashing into something down the hall but he couldn't tell what it was. Probably a wall >.>

The Misty let out an eep as the creature went straight of his throat. He brought Vanna up to block his face and felt it collide against his weapon, the broad surface the wheel smacking into him from the impact.

Before knew they were trying to capture these things for Tori but when an Insanity-fueled creature managed to wind itself around Before's neck, all he wanted to do was to destroy it. Well first get it off him and then destroy it. Which he did. A little too well. 8I "Guh, s-sorry."

Tori chuckled more as she smiled bigger at Bix's comment. "Thanks," she said. She was also impressed with Before taking on the mob all by himself. "Don't worry," Tori said.

Before should have seen this coming, he really should have. Except he misjudged his aim and ended up slamming Vanna against the wall instead of the tablet-turned enemy 8CCCCC

Seeing another creature form from a weapon tablet which was sad. Aklin was talking really loud at her to which she was getting a little tired of and missed using her charged attack. Aklin just hissed at his Hunter for missing but the creatures aim was true.

His friends weren't looking so good. That would not do! Looks like it was time to bite the bullet and take one for the team. "Guys, I'll act as decoy while you two regroup." There was a finality in his eyes that indicated he wasn't taking no for an answer.

After missing so triumphantly, Bix found the monster too occupied with his friends to retaliate. It gave the archer a chance to line up a shot, dealing a mediocre amount of damage with his arrows.
