[ENTERING] Kettil walked into the temple with Endzela landing upon his shoulder for now, she'd gotten her spurt of flying in and she was content but she was feeling pretty bottled up right about now, the wings hadn't been properly stretched out lately.
The boil paused a moment as he entered - there was something...Off it seemed. Though since he arrived late he couldn't quite put his finger on what was normal and what was odd... musicaloner7 ((Endy will return to Ev when she enters the temple, if/when the chance arrives. <3))

Yin was keeping his eyes open for food. Really, no one wanted Alexander hungry. First rule and all. He was looking so intently in fact that between a few of the candles that lined the outskirts of the temple something caught his eye and, hand still in Alexander's, he drug the other boil over to investigate.
Was there something else going on in the temple?

Of course Mort was greeted with pleasant ancient sights, a mysterious scent, and Jackdamn ear-piercing ringing. He winced upon re-entry, covering his ears as he looked about for the source with little luck. He couldn't have been the only one who heard that, right? His ears were decayed, not defunct.
Once the din in his ears had lowered in volume, he returned his grip about Rafe's arm and approached Kettil, none too willing to bring the mouse-rat-guy over to the obviously hungry pair for the moment. "The Jack was that?" he prompted, poking a finger in an ear one last time. "You guys hear big ringing right?" And was he hallucinating further, or dish e hear additional voices . . . ? His eyes fell to the strange door that hadn't been there before.

[Entering] Clinging tightly behind Mort, Rafe entered the temple. He could fear his heart hammering in his chest. On the bright side, his current terror of Yin did have one benefit: it had made him temporarily forget how terrified he was of the horsemen! Wait...that wasn't a benefit at all. "Is it cold in here?" He asked, shivering against what felt like a slight draft. And...was the floor hollow? Oh, great, now he was going to fall through it. Not good not good not good.

Kettil paused in front of praying statue distracted for a moment by what it held in its hand. Huh! That was kinda interesting but he wasn't exactly astute enough to do anything with this visual.
Huh? Ringing? He glanced over toward Mort and then began to actually pay attention to his surroundings. (( + 1 Four Clans point.))

Oh Rafe, if you don't want to be cold don't hold onto the usually fridge-temperature zombie~ Mort let go of him in considerate of this, though the other boil's clinging he'd have to undo himself if he wanted to get warm faster. Kettil's investigation led Mort to observe a similar statue nearby, plucking from it an all-too familiar token. "Wonder what is for with these?" he asked the other two, pocketing it before snatching his phone. One person came to mind when it came to logic and processing and thinking.Rabid Ice Weasel Taryn, weird stuffs going on @ Death isle, dunno about you. Got Rafe too (( +1 Horseman pt ))

They had made it to the temple, which was apparently where they had been headed though Alex really had too many things on his mind to be paying much attention. Worrying about Yin, hunger, giant rat boils with their enticing scents...and now some strange noise that had Alex frowning and looking around wondering what was even happening anymore.
It was all just too much, really.
Alex was being pulled around by Yin, which was pretty normal considering how slow the zomboil normally wandered around. He had no idea what they were doing. Maybe Yin had found him something to eat! Oh but wait, the large food source was standing over their next to Mort.
Mort was a good guy, maybe he could hook a zombro up...though it almost felt like the other zomboil was giving him pointed looks, ones that said 'I'm watching you.' though Alex had not the faintest idea why that would be so.
Switching his attention back to Yin for the time being, Alex saw a book out of the corner of his eye, sitting on the edge of a table, and glanced down at it, gaze scanning the title before he noticed something was marking the page and reaching in to pull it out.
Huh. Cool...
But seriously. What was that sound??

Taryn returned to the Death isle with her phone raised, reading it over twice for no good reason. They had only just made their announcement and already something was going on? She raised her head to look for the familiar blue boil and jogged over to him, her hooves echoing oddly on the floor. She waved to Rafe and the boil she did not recognize, smiling softly. Outwardly, she was content and ready to meet her friends. Inside? She knew something was going down. Her gaze turned toward the wall, hearing someone speaking deep down.
"What's going on...?"

EnteringCalder followed Aymet into the temple, frowning. "I can't believe it's locked. If I knew there was a book like that there, I would have looked harder when I was there." He sighed, and looked about. It seemed nothing else was really here.
While Aymet explored, Calder reached into his sporran and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, and then laid down on the floor, concentrating hard as he wrote on the piece of crinkled paper. When he felt he was done, he walked over to Amrita and Aymet to show them the piece of paper.
"I think if we are finding out stuff, we should keep track of it. Here. This is all the weird things I know." He offered them the pen. "If you know something, might as well write it all down."

"Pretty interestin' symbol," Kettil agreed at Mort with a bit of a grin. There was a sudden chill he felt and he shivered, even Endzela trembled in cold and tucked a bit closer down to try and avoid the cool.
"..Yeah I am feelin' the chill now," Kettil said to Rafe.

The badass Isles. Vaith walked forward, with a half-filled confidence that was better than no confidence. Besides, maybe, he could find out something about the conference? He sauntered forward, hands in his pockets, lifting a finger to shush his familiar.

He really didn't know where else to go. Everything was blocked off save for the horsemen's little baby sitting areas, so he didn't have much of a choice but to bring Danny to the temple to explore. This place reeked of "you do not belong" to him, but it was better than having to communicate with someone being condescending without reason. Much better.
He peered at the candles as they began to enter, but paused briefly. Was that? He picked up two tokens and grinned. Okay, this place wasn't so bad. "Hey Danny, more tokens. I wonder why they just leave these everywhere."

"I heard it." Muka nodded to Edel. He grabbed the demon's hand and started to walk towards the door. He knew this feeling, it had happened on War's island. He knew he shouldn't go look, especially if hunters were involved, but the strix was too curious.
Edel was free to not follow but Ulmuka would keep going anyway.

Roch glanced up, heading over to Edel with a grin--until she asked something. "Heard what?" he asked blankly. "I just got here." But he hesitated, looking around. "What happened?" he asked her, moving so his right hand was free and there was plenty of space for his guitar.

Danny followed close by Rikki at first, but eventually started wandering in and out of the columns, running in circles around them. She hadn't been properly exercising, and this was close enough!
Suddenly a ringing noise resounded in her ears, and her hands clamped over her ears. She swiveled around, looking for the noise, but found nothing. What in the world?
