Landon grinned as his brother accepted his help for the newspaper and expressed his enthusiasm for the movie in which he was an unsuspecting star. He smiled mockingly at the Southerner when he predictably defended his own brewing, but said nothing back, as in the mike of his movie spiel, he was suddenly hauled away by Rutilio.

"I'm watching you, tonto," the oldest state hissed through his teeth into his ear, along with a few other choice phrases in Spanish.

California paled, but otherwise gave no indication that he understood the gravity of the Gulf State's threat. "Chillax, bro!" he answered, patting Rutilio consolingly on the back. "It has no gimmicks whatsoever. You remember what was on that script I gave you, right? It's simply another movie to educate my reckless teens about driving. Surely you remember how it is?" A plausible excuse, since Landon had indeed given Rutilio a script about driving. Not only that, his state was well known as one of if not the strictest states when it came to transportation.

"Say," Landon added, brightening, "I could use your help and Christian's for the movie. I've got some of the background down pat, but I have no idea what to make the protagonists look like, so they're just a couple skeletons on my Macbook. You two want to offer some beauty advice? Andrew, Diana, you can come along too, if you like," he called to the (Bluegrass?) State and the island.

"By the way, Christian," he added, "of course I work fast! I've had to get those lazy directors' butts in gear somehow, and what better way than to show them up at their own game?"

Georgia overheard California say something about a movie about reckless driving and got a look of the highest offense before pouting lightly, his cheeks puffed out. A movie about reckless driving?! Really?! That's what the Californian had invited him over?!

"I take offense to that, Cali! Yeah, okay, so some of my traffic gets bad when it rains, but it's only because sometimes it looks like snow-- And snow is some scary stuff man!"

For someone who played with demons and actually had the devil as a contact number on his phone, it really was funny how Georgia's only real fear was snow.... Seriously, you couldn't convince the man to step foot outside if there was snow unless it was to get far away from the snow or because the power had gone out and there was a building nearby that did have power.

At the sound of helping making the look for characters, Christian perked back up. help with character design? Hell yeah!
"Oh course! I would love to help you design the characters! Just tell me the personality of each and I can totally sketch something out!"

"Sorry, Christian; I was talking about my own traffic issues," Landon said consolingly. "LA gets really horrible traffic any day. Just ask Ruti; he's been over to visit before."

When the Georgian agreed to help with the characters, Landon grinned. The smile soon fell away when he realized that the car movie wasn't the movie he wanted the 'help' for. How was he going to get Christian to help fuel his own blockbuster with Rutilio watching?

Gran, oddly enough, saved the day by clicking something off of his Macbook and hopping off of the chair. When Landon sat down at the device and booted it up, he found his battlefield backdrop instead of the town he had set up for the anti-DUI film.

For a moment, the West Coast state sat there blankly before tearing through his files in a great show of panic. "Gāisǐ!" he exclaimed in a rare display of anger and Chinese. "Gra-aannnn! You deleted my movie!" Landon's raised voice was enough to send the bear cowering and scampering off into the kitchen for refuge.

"... Well then," California said, heaving a great sigh of finality. "Looks like I can't get you to help with the right movie. Damn technology," he added with a laugh. "Damn bears, really.

"In the meantime, want to help me with this movie instead? It's a wartime movie, as you can see by this battlefield," Landon continued, gesturing at the CG scene. "The characters here have to be more exciting because this movie will go much farther, I can tell. The protagonists here are estranged American twins. One was raised in the southern US and the other was raised in Cuba. The former is recruited for the American army and the latter for the tropical Russian division, and both are sent to Siberian battlegrounds."

Landon realized he was rambling a little bit about the plot, and he had to fight to keep down his mounting excitement. Gran's error could actually prove the perfect opening for enlisting two unsuspecting states into the project he had wanted them for all along! With difficulty, Landon held his detached, professional expression. "But I'm getting ahead of myself," he admitted. "The Southerner is rather closemouthed due to a trauma he experienced in his youth. He likes drinking and can stay remarkably sober after a lot of beers, and often spends his free time on the war front writing to his stepmother, who has always treated him well. The Cuba-raised twin remembers little of his own American past, but he does know that he doesn't exactly belong with either home country. He's fighting to try and find his place in the world. Anything else you need to sketch up the characters?" he asked Christian.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Eh? Oh you mean the bear...yeah he was kinda, my homelands animals do that to strangers too." Diana chuckled at the look the bear had given her. Blinking at Christians sudden offer of a cola float along with an extended hand, which she shook cheerfully, albeit a little bewilderdly, her over hand taking Landons offered drink. She eyed the drink carefully, she was English after all and if she took just sip it was likely to get her drunk. But a small sip wouldn't hurt right? With a shrug she drank some of the contents of said wine glass, immediately a little bowled over by the strong taste. Now seeming more perked up, albeit a litle flushed she grinned, "My names Diana Kirkland."

When the state named Landon said he was making a movie she smiled cheerfully, being an artist herself she often drew charictures, not quite like you did on the computer but it had the same basic skills of drawing a face involved. "That sounds good, I could always help you out with that if you'd like."

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee didn't have too much interest in hearing about California's movie plans and instead turned his attention to the wine provided. He knew that the blonde was supposed to be famous for the stuff and among the best in the world at producing great wineries, but wine just wasn't his thing. Andrew decided instead to fix himself some rum and coke which was more his speed. The Volunteer State sat back at watched the English girl he had met the other day in class introduce herself to Georgia. Even though only a day or so had passed quite a bit had changed since the older state went on his mission. Now they had a dorm full of pets. Turtles, bobcats, horses and...

Andrew blinked and frowned as he glanced around his feet and saw no Violet. Iris had said that the piglet sent a letter to her so she had to still be around somewhere, but, if she wasn't skulking around in his shadow, where was she?

"Violet?" he called softly as he glanced around him under furniture, trying not to alarm anyone else that a crazy piglet with uncertain capabilities was on the lose somewhere in the school.

Tennessee looked over when he heard California suggest he help somehow with designing characters. One of them was a Southerner, right? Well, it would be good to have actual Southerners working on it, but the last time he had let Landon interview him for a movie it was that damned Miley Cyrus nonsense which had painted him out to be some stereotype from fifty years ago. He eyed the Golden State warily. "I guess I could help some... but your Disney corporation and Hollywood had best watch themselves from now on," he warned. "Damn Hanny Montany... Stupid girl was born in Nashville and is tryin' to pass herself off like some small town girl gone big in that crap movie. Crowley Corners, Tennessee my a**..." he grumbled irritably as he recalled the fake town and the less than pleasant portrayal of him as a big bumpkin.

Florida released California although he was still suspicious what the younger boy might be up to. He remembered the script he had been given, but that didn't necessarily mean he believed his tricky sibling was innocent by any means. He just sat back and listened while checking Cuba's text and internally cringed. His neighbor across the straights had an unfortunately good point. There was a lot to do before the big festival tomorrow and he hadn't done anything to prepare yet... Was it really a good idea for him to stick around all night partying? It was rare he considered abandoning a party but he did have a lot to do and the last thing he wanted was to have Cuba wave his finger at him saying "I told you so."

Speaking of Cuba... Florida glanced up curiously and quirked a brow at California. He wanted to write a movie which involved an American raised in Cuba? That was... different. There was something about the scenario that reminded him of his childhood growing up with Cuba nearby. Though he had always been alone on the continent as a kid, Juan had always at least been nearby and frequently acted as a big brother to him when he could. Until Florida was sold off to England then eventually America, at least... Then there was Castro which put the final nail in the coffin of their special bond.

One of Rutilio's hands balled into a fist out of sight in his pocket and he was fairly certain he wasn't going to like this movie. He grabbed a bottle of wine himself and took a swig of it feeling as though he was going to need quite a bit of alcohol to get through this.

Christian walked over to where California was sitting and more or less invaded half of the Californian's chair (although, it was a miracle neither fell off all things considered*) and looked at the skeletons as he listened to Landon's description of the heroes. "A war movie with one of them being a Southerner? It's like you're dedicating this one to me! Alrighty then, let me see if I can make a character for ya then."

The first thing he did was start on the body itself, putting in beautiful detailing in the uniforms that only a soldier from that era would know had been there. Each little fold of cloth and each shadowing was put in with great care, but amazing speed and detail. once finished, he morphed the actually body a little more to make the character look tall and a little scrawny, like he was just barely old enough to be in the Army. Once he had those details, he zoomed in on what would be the head. He quickly went to work, making this character a baby-faced male with light green eyes. A part of him considered making the eyes a little more cyan in color.... But decided it best if they stayed the light green that they were and added a hint of sadness to the expression-- like he had seen a lot and wasn't sure how to cope with it. He then worked on the hair, making it medium length, dirty blond, and messy-- almost like he had just rolled out of bed after a night of drinking and didn't really care if his hair stuck up in some places.

As he looked at the background, Christian considered what else he could do with this character. A part of him considered adding a gold earring, but he instead zooming out and added a carefully crafted golden cross hanging from a chain and had it around the character's neck before pressing a few buttons so that it was now a part of the character, but hidden behind the shirt. With that, he sat back and nodded with a smile.
"There. Whatcha think?"

He took another sip of the wine, noticing this stuff was stronger than most wines he normally drank. Well, whatever. After another sip from the bottle, he turned his attention back to Diana. "A Kirkland, huh? Guess that makes us cousins! It's always nice to find another family member." He smiled giddily, showing nothing but sincerity. He was well aware that his "father" had a bunch of "kids" along with "brothers" and "sisters", so it was always fond to meet another potential family member to the ever-growing family tree that made sense only to Georgia. After all, he was big on family.

He heard his phone start playing "Sweet Home Alabama" and pulled it out before flipping it open to see his brother had texted him. So he and Hawaii couldn't come? Bummer. Oh well. He'd rather his baby sister not be drinking any ways.
" 'Bama says he can't make it and to tell y'all hi... And to Florida he had Oogity Boo.... Yeah, I don't ******** know..."

Out Of Coke :: *Georgia's got a nice a**. it's part of why it's so easy for people to mistake him for a girl! XD

"Oogity Boo?" That certainly got Florida's attention as he stared blankly at Christian. What was that Alabamian trying to say? It was so strange and peculiar there might be some sort of hidden meaning to it. Rutilio sure was glad he had this wine with him to help him think it over while he internally tried to decode the message.

Oogity Boo sure sounded like something a ghost would say. A stupid, moronic ghost, but still a ghost... Was Johnny planning on releasing a ghost on him? Why?! Florida hadn't done anything bad to him! What was that dastardly neighbor of his plotting this time?

"... I might need my rosary..." he mumbled seriously as he tried to think of where he could get some holy water in case Alabama decided to use his voodoo to open a portal to Hell in his bedroom. He would be lying if he said it wasn't the first time something to this effect had happened in his life. Rutilio had more than enough weird experience under his belt to confidently say he couldn't rule out anything. "I will slap him with my rosary if I have to."

Tennessee just stared at Florida for the odd things he was saying then glanced around the room to see if this made sense to anyone else. Maybe he would need to drink some more rum before he could keep up with this level of crazy. The Gulf Coast sure was a strange, strange place...

Landon cried out in surprise as Christian invaded his chair, and the narrower-hipped boy promptly found his pelvis being squished by his brother's in the narrow seat He had expected the Georgian to simply sketch out 'his' character on paper for California to digitally translate and had been unprepared for his adopted brother's sudden command of the mouse. For a moment, Landon considered wrenching away the mouse and adding the details himself, but as he sat back, half-supporting Christian over his right knee, he was amazed at how well he navigated the supposedly unfamiliar program. First the Southerner refined the outfit, lengthening the shirt Landon had assigned into a military tunic and fatigues, adding exquisite detail to every fold in the CG fabric. Then, apparently unsatisfied with the character's build, Georgia subtracted weight to make a skinny-looking character unused to Army life. The last thing Christian added was a gold cross, to which Landon had to suppress a laugh, for that reminded him very much of his brother.

In fact, the whole character reminded the Westerner of his Southern bro, and Landon couldn't have been more pleased with the result. The figure Georgia had designed was practically his spitting CG image, and all the better that Georgia had designed it himself, both legally and personally.

"Wow, Christian!" Landon praised. "I didn't know you knew how to use ZBrush so well! He looks awesome! Kinda like you, too. You sneaky dog, trying to worm your way into my movie," he teased, giving Christian a playful shove even though that was exactly what he had intended.

"Just one thing though... This face is too realistic for a CG movie. I wonder if you want to add any details to this character's face?" Landon offered Diana, recalling that the Kirklander claimed to be good at faces.

"And Andy, Ruti, what do you think of this hottie?" he joked, turning about awkwardly in his chair to address his brothers.

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee blinked when Landon compared the CG character to Georgia and peeked over curiously so he could get a look at the screen. Huh. There did seem to be some similarities in their appearance. He wondered if their older brother really had done that on purpose or not, but Andrew supposed the important thing was that it looked good and it was scripted properly. Or something like that. Tennessee's creative strong suits were in music and he didn't care too much for making cartoons or movies unlike these two. He quirked a brow when Landon praised Christian's skills which he thought were to be expected. Well, it probably wasn't common knowledge that Atlanta was home to big broadcasting corporations like CNN and Cartoon Network. Honestly, Andrew only knew because of all the shows his southern neighbor had forced him to watch...

However, what took the Tennessean by surprise was when Landon went from comparing Georgia with the CG character to calling it a hottie. W-Was that some sort of West Coast slang? Andrew's cheeks burned slightly as he glanced away awkwardly.

"Uh... well... Looks fine, I suppose," he mumbled. "I mean... it seems about right from what I remember."

"Put him in a dress!" Florida chirped obnoxiously with a big grin, having also heard the comparison to Christian. Tennessee's cheeks turned a darker shade of red and he scowled unhappily at Rutilio.

His big brother was NOT a poof!

The blond Southerner smiled proudly at the compliment on his skills with CGI. "Well, I have been dipping my toes and innovating this stuff since the 80's, and you are looking at the guy that owns Cartoon Network and the Turner Network in general. Cartoons are my thing."

Although, in Georgia's drunken state, the resemblance between the character and himself was unintentional.

At Florida's comment, however, what he did next wasn't as subconscious.
"Oh, so you want a guy in a dress, do you?" asking in a dark tone. He made a quick character that looked like a fat Rutilio in a tutu trying to jump and then sat back for all in the room to see. "Any more requests, or you still got a few jokes on RuPaul you'd like to make? Mind you, it won't take me long to animate and send this bad boy to all that states and the Hispanic countries."

Georgia stood up, deciding he'd invaded California's space enough for now. He looked at how much was left in his bottle of wine before smiling and shrugging. Well, migt as well use his skills from all those UGA parties and put them to the test. He took one last breath as he raised the rim of the bottle to his lips before throwing his head back and chugging the 3/4 of the bottle down in under a minute. When the contents were emptied, he lowered the bottle with a sigh and heavy blush before he hiccupped and starting giggling lightly.

Rutilio's eyes widened in horror at the image on the screen. It was the most terrible thing he had ever seen! How could Christian even think up such an abomination!? It brought tears to his eyes to see something so grotesque and offensive.

A fat Florida!?

"Make it go away!" he wailed unhappily as he buried his face in his hands. "I-I didn't even want to know such a thing was possible! I'm too sexy for that to really happen, right? Right!? Such a monstrosity can never see the light of day!" What would happen to his tourism if people thought he was some fatty-fatty-no-friends!?

Was.... Was Florida seriously crying because of that drawing?! He knew the guy was big on the way he looked, but the peach state hadn't thought it was to this extreme. Then again, he wasn't one to talk. He hated people thinking he was a girl, and yet the man didn't have a single hIr on his body other than what aas on bis head. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away and blushing lightly before sighing. Yeah, he knew what he had to do in order to get his.... Boy friend to quit crying.

With a click of A few buttons, Georgia deleted the image before lightly punching Rutilio in the shoulder and nudging toward the monitor.

"Hey now, it's gone, so you can quit acting like a little pansy, Daisy. Geeze, you're so high maintence. Now quit crying those Gator tears 'fore I give you a real reason to cry. Stupid."

Landon guffawed when Christian quickly guzzled his entire bottle of Napa wine in under a minute and proceeded to churn out a tubby female Florida wearing a pink frill dress. Having grown up under the best gator-bawler in the States, he didn’t for a minute fall for that old gag.

But what surprised California more was Georgia’s reaction to Florida’s tears. Instead of immediately firing back a retort, the other Southerner actually rubbed the back of his head before deleting the grotesque depiction. Only then did he insult his longtime rival. And ‘high-maintenance’ wasn’t exactly the best of insults in the book, either. Landon raised an eyebrow. What was going on with those two? Had the two states, enemies for as long as California had known them, actually made up? The possibility was highly unlikely, but it was so appealing to the director part of Landon that he couldn’t resist asking. “Wow, Georgi; I thought you said there would be blood on the carpet if Florida followed you here. What happened? Are you two suddenly in love or something?”
