Zar looked around startled as something struck him from behind and spoke, a voice he didn't recognize. He all but brandished Nuru at the thing with one hand while swiping out defensively with the other

Herryk grunted when the mist beast approached. Getting to Town Heights was going to be no easy task when they kept getting attacked. Herryk swatted a hand at the monster, growling under his breath.

Seeing Zar being attacked - and being pointed at the creature as if he were a living weapon of some sort. Nuru-cat lept into action! After a fierce mew his claws raked at the fog ferociously! How you even scratch fog though... nobody knows. All he knew for sure was it worked!

Ugh, even the ca- well, Nuru was getting to the thing! He heaved a sigh. He totally didn't even CARE anymore. Spinning around, he flipped his hair over his shoulder - and it sliced right across the fog-shape's throat.
JD didn't even notice. He crossed his arms, glaring. He wanted a hot shower, his fluffiest bathrobe, and those little lepus slippers he kept hidden in the back of his closet.

Something seems to have separated from the mass of fog, staring hungrily in your direction. It tries to talk, but instead, hisses lowly, though you can make out a single word as it speaks.

Another fogbeast, another chance for JD's fist to whiff past it comically.
He was beginning to wonder if his beleaguered teammate had doused herself in Eau de Specter, or if this was some kind of consequence of ridding herself of that blasted cat. He wasn't entirely sure it had been worth it.
