“Teddy”  Rides.. Xochiquetzal was both happy and sad as she heard that. The mention of her height before had put some doubts into the girl and she didn't want to find them to be true. What if she really was too short for the rides? She could see Markus appearing out of nowhere as Kasie occasionally did (It was a mortal thing, she had decided.) to laugh and poke her forehead some more. She pursed her lips, already feeling the shame from that imaginary future – but.. If she avoided them, she would be admitting that Markus existed and that he was right. She wouldn't do that. With the utmost seriousness, she gave a firm nod to Kasie, “..We will ride.. the rides.” She confirmed as she turned to look for the closest one – ah! She pointed over towards a kiddie train ride, “We will ride that one. Come.” She motioned towards the line before heading over to stand in it. Most of everyone in line was shorter than her! ..They were mostly children, true, but.. Xochiquetzal could overlook that.
((I thought only Mhia would get that. 8D <3 on ze stalker.))

 "You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn bounced along her new buddies, completely unaware of the discomfort Light was feeling from Markus since Reilynn was too busy looking ahead and looking for something fun to do. Yuurei was scolding Markus about something but Reilynn wasn't paying attention.
She pointed to the Haunted House with great excitement as she grabbed the nearest person, which was her heater obviously, and shook that person fervently out of excitement. "Since it's on the way, we have to go there! Come on! It'll be really fun!" Reilynn said excitedly.
She liked haunted houses because they made her tingle with fear and that was a funny feeling.
"You agree with me, right Yuurei? Light? Markus?" Reilynn asked. "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

  ＬＩＧＨＴ  Why was this happening to him? Light never did anything to spite another so why was this lizard guy bothering him? It was like he was enjoying the fact that he was able to make Light squirm as he continued to torture him with his threats of eating him. Markus's tongue suddenly flicked out right into his face making Light feel even more uncomfortable. Suddenly, the girl, Yuurei spoke up in his defense which relieved Light a little but it did not seem to affect Markus. "H-Haunted house?" Light said when he was shaken out of Markus's grasp by Reilynn. He immediately took this chanced to get away from the lizard then stood about ten feet away from him.

Kasie raised a brow at the ride Xochi picked. Really? Wait a second. Was she picking this ride because of what Markus said earlier? That stupid bully! As she wandered along with Xochi in like, she didn't exactly mind the ride itself hurray for childhood, but it was rather awkward seeing all the strange looks children and adults alike were throwing at them. It was too late to step out of line since they were already nearing the front. Instead, she tried to reassure the girl for a different preference in rides if her height was being the issue here. "Hey, Xochiquetzal, after this, do you want to try the ferris wheel like you originally wanted? Don't worry about what Markus said. I'm pretty sure that you can ride all the rides! After all, the height limit is like 4'2"."

When she was finally done, he reassured her, "Oh, I'm not scaring him. He's just a bit shy." Markus frowned at Reilynn when she grabbed onto him and started shaking him, hoping his horns wouldn't rattle off or something. "Fine, fine!" He eventually groaned, just wanting her to calm down for a minute or two, "We can go if you really want to." He had no interest in the haunted house, but if it would keep her quiet, then the detour was worth it. But then his prey was shaken right out of his grasp. He hissed in distaste when Light stood a distance away, but it wasn't like he could attack him or anything with Reilynn shaking him up and down like that. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Yuurei Shizukana Yuurei saw how Light had managed to get away from Markus, good, plus Reilynn wanted wanted to go to the haunted house, perfect! "Hey Reilynn, I need to talk to Light ok? You take Markus to the haunted house, i'm sure he'd be happy to go with you!" she said smiling. She turned to Light gestureing for him to follow, and headed in the complete opposite direction of the haunted house and the carnies. When she figured they were far enough away she turned back around to Light. "Sorry about him, doesn't seem like he can behave himself. I'm Yuurei by the way, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier and took so long to get you away from lizard boy." she said, her ears eased back up from being against her skull.

“Teddy” Xochiquetzal hardly noticed the odd looks the two got while in line, paying attention more to the train and, when Kasie started to speak, the girl's words. She glanced over at her for a moment, considering how open she should be with the other, before deciding there was no need to hide anything. If she was one of her goddess-sent guides, then it wasn't as if she could hide anything. They would be informed anyway. “...Is that so..? I am taller than four feet and two inches..” She replied thoughtfully – wasn't she? She hadn't been measured in some time, but Kasie sounded like she knew what she was talking about. As they finally got to the front and were allowed onto the ride, she climbed into a bright, yellow cart and motioned for Kasie to come in as well so the ride could start. “...We will ride the ferris-wheel..” She paused and turned to the girl in her seat, “Are.. photos allowed on the ferris-wheel? I would like a photo.”

ＬＩＧＨＴ Light let out a sigh of relief when Markus begrudgingly agreed to accompany Reilynn into the haunted house. He had no idea how she was not afraid of that man, and in fact, she was quite comfortable with that person. He sighed and was going to remain where he was until the other girl told her she wanted to talk. He slowly nodded and followed her where they went away from everyone else. "Yuurei... Thank you," Light said with a small smile. ooc: i'm heading to bed now

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn finally released Markus, unwittingly saving Light from any more teasing from Markus at the moment. She had a big smile on her face when Markus agreed, but was disappointed when Yuurei said she wanted to chat with Light. Well, fine. Okay. But really, the more the merrier!
"Okay! Markus and I will defeat the evil scary spirits in the Haunted House!" Reilynn exclaimed as she took Markus's arm and pulled. She pulled and pulled.
She just didn't have the strength to drag him. Darn taller people, being so darn heavy! "Well! Off we go!" Reilynn said as she latched onto her heater and apparently the only one who really agreed to go with her and pointed to the haunted house. "Onwards, Markus!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

"Of course, you are!" Kasie grinned before indicating her estimated measurement about how tall that would be. "That's like ye tall, and you're definitely taller than that."
Soon enough, it was their turn. Oh, man, this was going to be slightly difficult wasn't it? Kasie couldn't exactly pretend to ride in the cart, but at the same time, it'd be rather difficult to explain that she went invisible every time she tried to touch something. Well, the former was too hard to even try, so Kasie went for the latter.
She immediately cautioned Xochi in case she might wonder where she might disappear off to. "Hey, just to let you know, whenever I touch anything, I tend to disappear, but I'm technically still there. That's all! Oh, and I'm pretty sure pictures are allowed. Did you bring a camera with you or something, Xochiquetzal?" Yeap. That was it before Kasie clamored in the ride too, going "poof" as soon as she sat down. Well, if Xochi answered her, Kasie's reply would have to wait. After all, no one could exactly hear her during her "poof" mode.

Yuurei Shizukana "You're welcome, i'm sorry I didn't do something sooner," she said rubbing the back of her head, kind of embarassed. She started walking randomly heading in any direction, as long as it was away from where Markus had gone. "So you are a crow right?" she asked, suddenly realizing that she might be mistakeing the scent. "I think you're a crow... don't look like it.... smell like it though," she said confusing herself for a moment. "In case you're wondering i'm a wolf demon." she added. "By the way are you going to Rosaline Academy?" she asked, basicly just talking. The whole point of saying she wanted to talk to him was basicly to get him away from Markus. (( i'm going to bed now too guys ))

“Teddy” Xochiquetzal looked at her strangely as she said the most nonsensical thing she had heard (now that Markus didn't exist, anyway), but she nodded nonetheless. It still startled her when, just after she was answered, the girl disappeared into thin air! She looked around herself for a moment, touching the seat where Kasie was intended to sit at, but found nothing. How.. strange. But, she said she was still 'there', so.. Xochiquetzal would just have to believe her. She felt somewhat awkward as she fastened the seat belt around the seemingly nonexistent individual, having trouble explaining to the worker why he had to check Kasie's restraint as well. But, with only minor difficulty, she had managed to convince him to do it before he left to turn on the ride, muttering some insulting words under his breath as he went. But, Xochiquetzal's attention had gone towards the ride. It was designed for children, yes, but her heart still skipped a beat when it started and she felt a small smile creep itself onto her face while they slowly were tugged along in a circle.
The ride had ended shortly after the second round due to some crying child, but Xochiquetzal didn't mind as she got back out and stood waiting beside the track for Kasie to reappear, having undone her safety belt. She started to talk then, the excitement of the ride leaving her long enough to allow her to remember that they were talking. She shook her head to the air, “..I dislike cameras.. However, I require proof that I.. went on the ride..” She lowered her voice to a murmur as she saw the employee give her a queer look again.

She wanted to 'defeat the spirits'? Did she realize that she wasn't allowed to touch anything inside? What a slow girl. He kept his feet planted on the ground when she tried to pull him in, simply staring down at her. And staring. And staring... Then she just had to latch onto him. Ugh. She really wasn't joking, was she? "Just don't touch anything, okay? I'd rather not get kicked out," He told her with an irritated sigh as he headed into the haunted house with her, dreading what she may do. Scream, punch someone, cling to his arm... Oops. Kasie didn't exactly mean for Xochi to look like she needed to have a visit to an asylum. Hehehe? While the ride wasn't anything special, it seemed certainly enough to make Xochi smile, so that meant that the better the rides, the happier she could get! Awesome. Maybe she could break through that quiet exterior this girl had!
In order to reply to her pffft, it was funny how Xochi was talking in the opposite direction of her, Kasie quickly slipped into the ground and sprung back up as if she had been there the whole time to prevent any heart attacks from occurring from her sudden appearance. "Maybe we can try persuading someone to take a picture of us! Well, camera's are digital nowadays, so we wouldn't be able to get it instantly. Hm... Do you have any ideas?"
