Gagging from his terrible idea to use his not-nearly-sharp-enough teeth, Yuki went back to the only thing he could do that seemed effective.
He tried to punch and stomp... He felt like this would have been so much more useful without this awkward shrinkage.

Between trying to beat the pulp out of the kraken's offending limb, Yuki happened to glance back at what used to be their sandcastle. It was rather disheartening to see it in such a state, but it was just sand.
Something so simple couldn't hold up to something like this.
He was at least going to make this monster's tentacle sore for destroying what they'd worked to build!

Jack... He was tiring out too fast. Yuki was panting with the effort of trying to defend what pitiful pile of sand they still had claim over, vaguely taking note that the ghouls had worn themselves out.
It took only one more flick of the monster's tentacle to finish destroying their work.
The ghost boil shouted his frustration.
In a momentary wave of anger, he sincerely hoped that they weren't the only ones who were having this much trouble.
