Willow had managed to get her foot where it wasn't quite as sore so she could place another assault on the crab. "Muka! Stop pussyfooting around for Jacksakes this is serious." She yelled as she collided with a crab and both of them went tumbling over.
Willow did her best to scramble away as it starting trying to pinch at her. She hissed and stuck her tongue out at it when she was safe. She had to take a break though. Falling back into the sand she sighed. This was getting to be a bit much, The tigress needed a small break, maybe the boils could handle it without her for a few. Her tail flickered as she looked around to see how Merope and Amarus were doing.

Peeling his face off the sand he quickly crammed the hat that flew off back on his head as he tried to swat away something near him. Whatever it was it just wandered away instead of doing anything.
Maybe riding Merel like Muka riding a crab was a better idea then eating brick sand.
"MEERREELL" He cried looking for his familiar mouse.

Ulmuka giggled, he couldn't help it!
"I'll save you Willow!" He started yanking on the crab's eyestalks again and only then realized why this wasn't working right. Crabs walked sideways. "AHA!"
"I'm not pussyfooting.." he snickered. "I'M CRABBYFOOTING!" There was some talon's poking and some stem yanking and soon the crab skittered sideways and Ulmuka snatched Willow up by the arm and dragged her onto the back of his mount. "You rest now!"
He'd just yanked her from the grasp of another crab and it's swinging claw hit him instead. "YAHH! GO CRABBY!" His riding-crab didn't like being ridden but also didn't like being attacked by another crab. Thankfully it retaliated for them.

Merel squeaked loudly as she quickly ran towards him, however when she got close she stopped.
He was about the same size of her this delight her greatly, but now was not the time to bask in it. Crabs smelt bad and needed to go, not to mention threatened her chance of unlimited biscuits.
Joachim swat at another one only to get smacked across the sand again, this time he kept his hat on.
Merel picked him up and shook him off and squeaked at him to ride.

Muka was acting like some sort of cowboil, hooting and screeching as he rode around on the skittering crab. Suddenly the crab wanted nothing to do with it and it began to buck. The strix stood up, holding Willow's hand, and trying to stay balanced. He knew that his joy ride had come to an end.
A vicious expression crossed his face and he grabbed the eyestalks, dug his talons into them and RIPPED them off. The crab bucked again, tossing it's riders and Muka and Willow flew to the ground. He cushioned her fall so she wouldn't be hurt, but he bore the brunt of it.
"Hee... heee..." He sounded tired.

Leaping onto Merel's back, Joachim gave a victory yell as they charged forward however, they didn't manage to actually hit anything other than sand and the random small piece of driftwood.

What a disappointment!
"Let's do this again Merel ok! For Willow and Muka!" He replied as them mouse gave a loud squeak and charged forward.
Swinging the hat around wildly in his hand, he smacked a crab upside its tiny little crustacean head, however it responded sending him into the sand. After tumbling a few times, the reaper quickly got up and shielded his eyes looking for the hat.

The sand castle looked even large and far more impressive than when they were first building it from Merope's new vantage point. Of course, with the sand castle getting larger the moat grew larger as well. By the time Merope managed to navigate and pull himself out of the moat a giant enemy crab was attacking his teammates. Merope did the first thing that came to mind. He attacked the weak point for massive damage.HP: 35 / 40 Damage: 2 Crab HP: 0 / 40

Perhaps the sun was in her eyes, perhaps something shiny distracted her, or perhaps for a moment Amarus had drifted off to sleep: regardless of the reason, she had completely stopped paying attention to the fight and to her teammates. It was not intentional, however, and as soon as she realized it, she groggily tried to throw herself back into the fight.
To no avail, as she was so disoriented she walked in the wrong direction before attempting to land even the most pathetic blow.

Merope's talons scratched rather uselessly at the crab. He hissed in irritation, narrowing his eye. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Crabs were tiny, brittle things that were easily smashed. Granted the smash was usually with a rock, and Merope preferred to rip the pincers off of crabs and keep them intact for his clan's personal use. You never knew when a pincer could be useful. Plus they were rather tasty.
Merope launched himself at the crab again, trying to get a hold on of of its legs. If he could disable it, or at least get a hold on it to flip it over...

Nope. Merope jumped up and managed to land on the crab's leg, his claws slipping against its hard armor before he fell down. Before he could pick himself back up, the crab stepped on him. It brought back unpleasant memories of Christmas, inspiring him to scowl and hiss before launching himself at the creature again.

Amarus formed the Kuji-Kiri with her hands, the symbol she had used so many times before: Rin, the symbol for power. She took a deep breath and struck out at the crab. Hopefully, this time, it would really connect?...
It seemed like many of her team mates couldn't keep fighting, as Amarus had kind of dropped the ball on this one, concentrating, studying.

Although the kuji-kiri had not failed her, and they seldom did, she lost her focus immediately after her decent hit-- as a result, she did not even achieve a glancing blow. She had tried to sweep the crab's legs out from under it: turns out when you're that small, and the crab has so many legs, that is not the route to take.

This jacking. Crab. Could not defeat her. Amarus was livid, but she folded her hands into the symbol for Kai: She would calm herself, focus, and strike at its weak point O AO
And the crab was dead. Jacking crab. Served it right.
Amarus would not be defeated by a crustacean O AO
