Merope craned his head back, trying to get a better look of the stage. No such luck -- the horsemen was quite tiny from where Merope stood. Like, really tiny. If Merope raised his hand and made a pinching motion, the horseman would be squished between his forefinger and thumb. Which he was. Repeatedly. When the teams got their clues and began to disperse, Merope began searching for his own team. He was curious as to what was written on the clue. But before he raised his hand and gave Arel the same treatment. Squishy squish. Now, where was his group...? Merope stopped as a thought struck him. He didn't even remember what his own groupmates looked like.

"Ah!" Aurian jumped and stared at the cat-boy's stomach. That sounded angry. Very unhealthy, she thought. He had a very good point about spookies. "Um, just a moment..." She rumaged through her many belts. The naked eye couldn't see that there were tiny pockets and pouches sewn into the inside of some of them. It let Aurian keep her hands free without having to worry about adding pockets to her jacket. "Aha!" She held up her prize, a spider-chip spookie that was there for emergencies. "Here you go!" Aurian held the spookie out to the catboy. They were teammates now, so it counted as an emergency, right? Besides, Aurian could just replace it with another from the batch she'd made last night (where this one also came from - it was fresh! No use having an emergency food supply that would cause food poisoning). "I can bring more for our meetings," she reassured the others.

Hurray, puzzles! While Xiu couldn't claim to be all that great at them, they were usually pretty fun to figure out. That was, when they weren't mind-boggling frustrating. Fortunately, with their team working together, it seemed as if they had managed to come up with a possible answer.
The baku was pleased to be in a group where Riyo was the leader--she was definitely, in her honest opinion, one of the most levelheaded friends that she had. On the other hand, her opinion of Titus being in their group was...
...
No comment. Well, so long as he didn't cause any trouble, it was all good.

Mai was.. not the brightest ghost in the graveyard. Ok, it wasn't that she was stupid, honestly. She just lacked motivation.
"A puzzle?" she asked sleepily as Vaith returned with their clue. The ghost glanced at the numbers, thought a moment, then shrugged.
She was just going to have to be useful in other ways, clearly.

There might have been, in another galaxy or universe far far away, a story involving exactly one Nergal student and her epic plight to save the world as she knew. It might have involved bandages, stitching oneself to the ground, falling into a pit, stitching oneself to the ground with bandages again-
- and an equally miraculous story as to why exactly one Nergal student had finally returned back to the light of day in Amityville. Since, unfortunately, Amityville itself had a rather generous population of Nergal students who all, occasionally, liked to body swap, no-one paid the missing Spectrae much attention. At one point one of the professors might have even thought she had finally evolved into a second year, though the truth behind that rumour was debunked when the Nergal Vaisel had a not-so-Nergal coloured kidlet.
As students really, had no use for nourishment outside of Fear, and Halloween itself was essentially, made out of Fear, Spectrae, having very little of the Intelligence Quotient thing, did not even seem to notice she had been missing for what to the normal person would have been several months of mindless boredom. Instead, she simply re-integrated herself into Amityville as best as she thought she could: by helping.
The Nergal student literally skipped into the auditorium, a long wad of bandages trailing behind her, from her hand to some indiscernible location past the door. A giant, wide, toothy smile was on both her mouths as she finally spotted her new best friends. And by new best friends, she really meant, the first students she saw the second she had returned to Amityville: technicalities really.
They were now her new best friends. And she was here to help. The first year did a great impression of what, to normal students, might have been creeper standards as she finally skipped to a standstill behind Riley, Jericho, and Junko and simply stared, a little behind them, still smiling.
There see? Helping already.

A new student approached the group. Well. To Jericho, she was a new student, seeing how he had never seen her before. Little did he know that she was technically an older student than himself. That was besides the point.
In any case, his alarms were immediately raised, as it was when meeting with any 'new' student.
"YOU! Who and what are you!?" he barked out. Why was she carrying those bandages? Were they laced with some toxin? Was she really a hunter? So many questions.

Of course I have, Riley had reverted once more to the singular pronouns as she thinned her eyes at Jericho, a little annoyed that he'd even had to ask. It was a simple matter of following the-
As she took the paper and pen she was handed, she turned her head a few degrees, and looked face to face with a ghoul she'd never met - who was smiling directly up at her.
-.. the clues and understanding-
Riley kept getting distracted and doubletaking at the ghoul who seemed to be rather attached to her group, trailing bandages and simply.. smiling.
-where they-
It was seriously impossible to finish her sentence when those eyes were on her like that.
- who is that?! She finally murmured with an exasperated sigh, giving up on her explanation even as she wrote the four digits down on the notebook, and ripped the paper out. She folded the paper up and bent down to get a good look at Spectrae, before shrugging her shoulders and trudging off to hand the paper off.
Their task was done, and Riley was now free to return to their group and figure out the next mystery - that of their fifth teammate, or so it seemed from the way she had integrated herself into their little bubble of space.

They now had a clue to play with, and Shehk looked over the numbers with a thoughtful face as she took them from Siddie, turning the paper over in her hands before she leaned back in her seat and sighed, only looking away from her group once at the sound of Jericho's voice.
Jericho wasn't her problem during the trials. He was going to be left to Mal along with Riley...and she'd hope his condition didn't implode upon itself somehow. Suspicions were rising about him and that alone concerned her. Soon her silence may not have meant anything.
Twisting a ribbon she'd tied around her wrist nervously, she looked to her team instead, offering them a smile.
"SO! These numbers! What do you guys think about them....?"

Junko just stared at the new ghoul. She had never seen her before today.
...Riley didn't know her.
"...I thought you invited her." Junko replied with a bit of confusion. "Jericho..?" Did Jericho invite her?

Willow was sitting up at the top of the seats. Where there was a wall and a somewhat easy place to hide. After things had been done and settled she then started to head towards her group when she noticed one of them looking at little lost.
She'd really only met Merope once, but there really was no mistaking about who it was. So she moved down a few seats and grabbed his wrist. "Come off it, now's not the time to be squishing teachers heads. No matter how much they may or may not deserve it."
The tigress seemed already on a lecturing tour as she headed towards the point where she last saw Muka. Though she was acting a bit twitchy while talking to the Undead sea creature. "Why's it always got to be large crowds." She sighed, "Anyways there's Muka, and uh... the other ghoul, oh what was her name? I don't see Joachim yet though." Her tail flickered as she moved ears staying pinned close to her head.
Someone running into her made the tiger's tail fluff out. "Hey, watch where you're going." She muttered shooting a glare towards the offender. The sooner they could get out of here the better.

"I thought they might be a password of some sort?" Siddie suggested hesitantly. "Or maybe some kind of code?"

Angenora blinked as she looked around for her teammates, but she had no idea except for the name of their group. "Team Shakespear... Wonder what kind of cuties will I be with this time?" Asking herself as she looked around with a light toothy smile on her face. She asked boil after boil, ghoul after ghoul until she found a rather dashing dragon. "Hello there! Are you part of team Shakespear?" she asked politely.

Ear wings excited, the Siren could hardly contain himself. "The answer is math. Or maybe it's a serial number for something? Or like- we have to go fight something. Or pay someone that many seeds. I don't have that many seeds. If I did I would buy lots of fabrics. And flowers. A minipets." Arms wrapping around Lucien, the siren rubbed his cheek to the boil. "Trails have not even started and they are hard. But this is okay. I think it will be okay. Even if we don't win its not like- We'll get expelled. I think that would be silly." Wings gave a flap. "Is anyone good with math?"

Glancing around and looking for the rest of his teammates, he finally sighed dejectedly. "Yeah. Ok, whatever. Meet me in my dorm. 678. Demon. You'll know it when you see it."
