It was a ******** Poltergeist, and it seemed just that had triggered enough in Cass to get her rage going. She hadn't even been there for that long before she girl moved in, ducking underneath a thrown bench and stepping forward to slice into it with both hands on the handle of her blade.
There was also a lot of vulgarity. '********' might have been every other word as she dug Nicodemus deep into the spirit, turning the blade sharply before she moved to step back. It grabbed her with cold hands as she moved away, however, and it seemed that the next thing that would be tossed towards the group would be the Mist Hunter herself.
If nothing else, Cass was very good at flying.

Rep eyed the larger man, finally identified to him as the Robert Jordan mentioned serveral times in the past with an edge of gratefulness, backup bearing bandages was always welcome, and as far as he was concerned, any friend of Jordan had to be an okay bloke..himself perhaps excluded from that.
He shook the proferred hand with a nod and a rather friendly grin. "Yeah, likewise. I'm usually wary of saying hi to people and s**t. They tend to want to beat me up as soon as I open my mouth. And you are a big guy." Some habits died hard, and not picking fights with guys far bigger than you was a habit Rep hadn't tried to shake.
He eyed the band-aid with mild amusement, reminded of the pokemon ones from the other mission. Deus never really failed to amuse him.
The barrage of swearing made him turn just in time to watch Cass sail past and remind him yeah, he should probably at least contribute SOME help to this fight instead of standing like a tool. Hefting Tracey back in both hands, he charged forward to swipe at the ghost.
Of course, it wasn't a very magestic swipe as he was duly clobbered with a loose branch, one which he tripped over, and then cut to small pieces in a rage.
Fine Fine. He scrambled back to a distance again looking peevish.

Candace sighed with relief when Cass appeared, even if she didn't inflict any harm on the thing at first. What mattered was she..really hit it hard later on, which actually surprised Candace at first. Whoa. Rage much? "Try to keep your head clear, Cass.." Candace called out to the girl, ducking as an entire bench was picked up and thrown her way.
..Robert was here. Uuuuugh Robert was he--oh he had bandages okay not so bad he can stay yes.
She ran in, giving the poltergeist a strong kick before being smacked away with a stanchion it ripped out of the ground. Candace gasped for air and leaned back against a tree. Ow. Ow. Owwwwwwww! "I..I could really use a bandage. My shield feels really weak.."

What a little tart, that Candace! Asking for bandages instead of waiting for him to get to her, like everybody else did. Robert rewarded her for her impatience in the best way possible. He gave her a band-aid - by slapping it right on her a**.
"It's cool, bro." Robert was still talking to Rep, after that a** slap. Oh yes. "You ain't got s**t to worry about with me. Now go rip this thing a new a*****e."

Jordan smirked. That was Robert, all right, a band-aid to the a** as a friendly hello. In most situations he would have given Robert a little crap about it, but right now? Busy.
The poltergeist flung a shower of small, sharp rocks into his face; he raised Ferros to deflect the worst of it, but the rocks still stung his arms and chest. "You're annoying," he grumbled at the ghost, and brought Ferros down on it, letting gravity add a little extra weight to the hit.

Rep would have stayed out of the fray. No really, he would have.
If Tracey wasn't in his head, making all sorts of lewd comments in his charged voice at least. As it was it left the red headed man twitching and with a steadily rising anger level. He was trying very hard not to listen but it was surprisingly hard not to, especially when weapons seemed able to offer flickers of images to their hunter.
Eventually his resolve really couldn't take it at all and he snapped, leaving his spot of safety to snarl. "FINE IF IT WILL SHUT YOU UP" out loud.
And he brought Tracey around in a sweeping arc powered almost exclusively by sheer rage, perhaps too much so, as he missed disappointingly, only to /keep/ swinging with the same degree of force and end up with his axe embedded in the paving. Hauling it out again took an embarrassing amount of effort.

Robert had, technically, told Rep to go attack. This may have been counterproductive to his helpful healing, because as soon as the man charged, Robert winced at the very real wounds inflicted from the creature. Stepping up in front of Rep, he patted the man gently on the shoulder, and gave him an apologetic smile.
"Okay. Maybe you let me rip him a new a*****e for a bit."
Robert swung, and missed triumphantly, nearly cutting his own head off.
..Was this really the better option? You guys are screwed.

Robert slapped her on the a** and Candace very nearly elbowed him in the gut. In her mind she did it, but in reality all she did was squeak and turn a narrow-eyed glare at the dumbass, her cheeks flushed as she moved away from him. "Was that really necessary?" She grumbled, mumbling a quiet thank you anyway before she watched Rep go in..and miss completely. Candace sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose a moment and closing her eyes. It's okay. It's a floating ghost thing. You guys can chase it off. He's a new trainee. He's an idiot. He's new. He's a ******** idiot. Atropos chuckled with amusement at Candace's efforts to stay nice.
"How's your shield, Rep?" Candace asked as she went in, hopping up on a bench to jump off and give the poltergeist a swift kick in the side. She landed on her feet this time, more gracefully than when she'd slammed to the ground on her back before. Of course when she looked up the poltergeist had a signpost in its grasp. ********! Bracing herself for the impact that slammed against her and sent her skidding to one side.
Fuuuuuck that one hurt!

"It's always necessary." Robert answered casually, as he swung out and actually stabbed at something this time, instead of missing like a baffoon. Candace was so worried about Rep's Fear shield, that she seemed to be missing out on her own state of being.
"Oi. Lollipop. Watch your own a**, let me take care of his."
Robert remained standing in front of Rep, waving his weapon threateningly. "Seriously. Stay down."

"I'm fine! I'm done but..I'm okay." She frowned down at Atropos. "I'm sorry. I'll use you on the training field for a few hours and let you release all the charges, okay? I promise." Atropos snorted but understood. Candace couldn't take much more or risk losing her shield.
"..And don't call me lollipop!" It was worse than calling her Candy.

"I got it," Jordan said, nodding to Robert. "We can take one more shot." The ghost was wavering now, looking like it was on the verge of fleeing, but when Jordan moved to attack it again, it couldn't resist flinging one more rock.
Jordan ignored the thud of impact and brought Ferros around in a swift arc. The poltergeist shredded satisfyingly, and Ferros growled a low sound of pride and frustration, the edges of a half-absorbed charge making the weapon irritable.
"How many of these things are there?" Jordan demanded of empty air, and desummoned Ferros as he turned back to the others. He nodded gratefully to Cass and Robert. "Thanks for coming in to help," he said. "We wouldn't have been able to take that one down on our own."

Robert leaned in to Candace, his face an inch from hers, and smacked his lips. "She's delicious."
All joking aside, he patted Jordan on the shoulder, and gave him a cocky grin. "You call, I come. That'll never change, boss."
