Florida isn't so much a place
where one goes to reinvent oneself,
as it is a place where one goes
if one no longer wished to be found.

Florida insisted as he hopped up and went to enforce the covering of ears himself. He put both hands over the European's ears and pulled poor Georgia almost protectively against him as he turned back to look at Cuba. "Juan, you're teaching him bad things!" he hissed in an urgent whisper. It was almost like he was trying to keep a small child from learning naughty words. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ <>

The Floridian stuck his tongue out back at Juan and finally let go of poor Georgia's ears with a light chuckle. "We are not as weird as we appear... Well, sort of," he almost reassured the European.
He quirked a brow as he looked over at Nauru. "What kids? I might look like a teenager, but I am almost 500 years old! I can drink if I want to. Besides, Juan says it's ok, si?" He glanced over at the Cuban with a tiny smirk as if he was still in charge of keeping an eye on him for Spain. He's just ←fake→ Kartlos laughed as he walked in. "Hey, Rutilio! And hello Juan. Nice to meet you!" he said cheerfully. Then he giggled at Rutilio’s nickname. "Ruti!" He said while laughing. "I won’t call you that if you don’t want me to." He laughed as Florida put his hands on his ears. "Stop it! Or maybe I will call you Ruti!" he said as he tugged on Florida’s hands. "I suppose if you say so, but I'll tell you now, I know I'm weird! But in a good way!"

Only Cuba, Mexico and Spain could get away with that one although it was unlikely Rutilio had a way of retaliating even if someone else picked it up other than harmless sulking. "I will be good, I promise." He put his hands up in surrender to show the nation had won.
"Now, come and eat! It will be very good! Have you ever had Cuban food before?" he asked as he lead the European over to get some plates. "Juan might not look it but he is an amazing chef. I think he is the best in the Caribbean." Although Florida might be a little bias considering Cuba had always been the one he was closest to. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ <>

This wasn't a competition or anything, Juan just liked messing with Ruti. it's what big brothers do "Whatever you say.... Ruti." He laughed. He began serving up plates of food and passing them around to the others "Well... I don't really think I'm the best. I heard Antigua & Barbuda had some good food, and Puerto Rico too. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Rutilio pouted when Cuba called him Ruti again and laughed, but he didn't seem to be honestly bothered by it as he helped pass the plates and loaded up his own. Food was far more important than their brotherly picking at each other, after all~!
"Jamaica is a pot head," Florida purposely whispered loudly to Georgia so everyone could hear. That was a bit of an unfair stereotype, but Rutilio had caught the nation more than once smoking the reefer. It was enough to convince the mischievous state and he would never let Jamaica live it down. "Do not smoke anything he gives you." ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ <>

She was trying not to shake as much for fear of hurting the creature. She needed to get away from toughs evil people who wanted to hurt the fairy. They were so mean! It wasn't long before she head talking coming from one dorm, maybe they could help her escape the evil people. She didn't even knock on the door. She just opened it right up and slammed it shut with a loud bang. She then looked the door so no one could get in.

☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ "Si, that would be perfect," Florida agreed. Some dessert after a delicious meal was just what they needed although he wasn't sure he had the proper ingredients to make one... Every time he went to the grocery store he always forgot something! It was a little frustrating, but Rutilio wasn't going out in a storm unless he had to. Tampa always got struck by lightning when he did that.
Florida blinked and looked up when he heard someone shut the door and glanced over his shoulder at the new guest who was... locking the door behind her? Weird. He frowned thoughtfully as he studied Leah a moment. She looked like that crazy vagabond who sometimes lingered around New York's place. How odd. He thought this place was only for representations like them. Maybe New York was here and she had followed?
