Manny Uchiha The second it as clear they were leaving Manny moved as fast as he could with out seeming overly frantic to leave, though being almost out side of the room when Aoi turned around probably was a bit to noticeable a tell. Moving through the underground lair Manny was glad they were leaving, the small amount of time he spent there drained him, high tension situations always made him tired, more so than training, or studying, something about the mental drain about knowing you might be killed just took it out of him. So once they got out Manny walked a bit slower, his eyes dropped to a tired, half awake state as he thought to himself how he really never wanted to come back here.

Somehow he knew that this was what he wanted, but he was reluctant to give away his signature power to this child, one he felt he could barely trust given the atrocities he had witnessed in the village. Still, refusing him would be suicide, and complying could make Zin a potential ally. In fact, Yamatano thought began thinking of how he could play this to his advantage...
"I assure you, we have no agenda of information gathering with Konoha. Those others.......well, we weren't supposed to run into each other, but when they beat me to the Konoha gate I........improvised." It wasn't a complete lie, but to be honest, Yamatano didn't have much reason to use his henge other than to see if it would work. To his credit, it did work until he encountered Zin, but what kind of reason was that? Yamatano ended this train of thought, to focus on the matter most at hand. "Zi- I mean, Lord Hokage, the contract is not exactly something I can just point you to. Its not something you simply sign, like many others." It was at this point that Yamatano turned his body to reveal his already exposed left shoulder, bearing a tattoo of the kanji for 'Snake.' "I'll have to take you to the contract myself, but please, understand my hesitancy." Yamatano was treading on thin ice right now, but for his cause, he was willing to destroy any ice he stood upon. "With everything I've seen, I think I can conclude that I am one of the few people who have ever survived head to head combat with you. The city has an aura of fear, but your top man seems to have great respect for you, something I'm sure doesn't come from loyalty alone. I would not have you as my enemy." In truth, this entire conversation was starting to leave a bad taste in Yamatano's mouth. He still considered Zin a companion, but that consideration was slowly fading given the state of Konoha. "Therefore, I would like to propose that, were I to give you the snakes, you would never move them against Kirigakure. I believe that our villages can be peaceful with one another, but even better, I believe the two of us can be allies, as serpent summoners."
Yamatano steeled himself as the words left his mouth. He did not know how kindly Zin would take to conditions on what he apparently thought was a "birthright", but Yamatano could not let someone who had apparently mustered this much power to be a threat to Kirigakure. And while he was confident that the snakes would never turn on him personally, he could not say what they would do to Kirigakure under the command of another if he were, say, out of the country. Above all, his loyalty was to Kirigakure, and he would defend it even at the cost of his life. Though, Yamatano didn't like the price to be quite that high, thus, his compromise. “…Must first find out how to get past me.” Fiercely Loyal || Determined || Protective || Aspiring OininChakra Points: 74/74 Exploding Smoke Grenade: 5 Makibishi: 20 Shuriken: 10 Light Bombs: 5 Kunai: 0 Ninja Wire: 100 Ft. Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Once more, Zin and his serpents listened carefully. As if trying to weed out any lies they may feel. He'd wait for any hisses from Nagi or Hitan to tell him if they sense any discrepancies. In fact, the child would somewhat stare at Yamatano in an unblinking manner as he listened. Waiting for any sort of lie that would make him lash out at his old opponent, for attempting to deceive him twice. After all, if his father found the Snakes, he could do so without Yamatano. His death would only put something of a delay for him to get what he desires. But Zin had no true malice against him... at least for now. As long as Kiri stays to their affair and Zin will stay with his, unless a situation such as what was brought up to him a few minutes ago, he feels there is no reason for him to bare his fangs at them, "I will take your word as an old, worthy opponent." Zin said softly as he dropped from on-top of his desk and walked over to his chair which he seated inagain. The boy was careful not to say trust. He definitely only has trust in three people in this world, but the rest he can only take them up on their words; words that hold little water until otherwise proven. Which led him to further say, "But if you are lying... My wrath will be fierce. I rather like the privacy of my village, as I am sure you do with yours." Zin said as he rumbled through his desk to find something as Yamatano continued.
When he spoke about the state of Konoha, before Yamatano could even complete the entire sentence the little Naga burst into giggles. These, actually were true giggles of a child, instead of the malicious giggles that would pierce through Yukigakure winds. Pulling out a rather large jar of gummi bears, Zin took his time nibbling on a few as those serpent eyes looked up to the Hatake, "Call me Zin. We are... peers though we did not grow under the same banner. People that call me Lord Hokage, are usually the ones who I play with. But I understand the situation of the Summons." Zin said thinking about his father's book, "I was hoping to venture there when the country has returned to safety, but by it requiring you as a guide, things seems a little more complicated." Zin's sleeved hand dipped into the jar once more before bringing it back up to his little mouth to take another large bite. The fanged teeth would be covered as Zin continued his mini-feast, while those eyes returned to that unblinking state. Constantly watching him for any movements he didn't particularly enjoy.
"Do not concern yourself about my village." Zin hissed a little, having a touch of poison in the words, "If I'm correct, Kiri has only just remodeled it's methods in the recent years." Placing his jar to the side and picking up a black envelope that lay on his desk, Zin read off the contents in almost rapid succession, "I have increased the productivity of every citizen of every trade of every gender by ninety-eight percent. I have effectively reduced poverty, and created a re-innovated the shinobi learning system of the village, creating Genin to be candidates of special operations and Academy Students to be Genin the moment they walk into those doors. Crime rate, thirty-eight percent, and that is only because they ran from the village and found some form of refuge in the Fire Country; and even that, is decreasing by a steady five-percent per night. We are at complete high capacity, that has not been seen since the creation of the village." He said as he ended with his sentence with the snap of the folder being closed, and placing it back upon his desk. " But you aren't here to hear statistics. I changed the village for the better and made it as it should be. It would be hard for a non-native to completely understand." Which was true. Zin knew of the history of Konoha after studying it for hours and hours in the library. Attack after attack after attack. Death after death after death. The metaphor of the 'Will of Fire' simply was a quote of weakness. Now, the 'Will of Fire' is a quote of pure power. A power that will consume and burn the enemies that face up against it; and effectively crush those that oppose it's authority. Zero-tolerance... is what this village needs. Plus, who says that villages are suppose to be warm all the time? From his father's notes, he has only done half of what Orochi. did in Otogakure. Yet in Zin's own way, he is steadily exceeding his father and soon will complete surpass him; as his grandfather foretold.
Pushing from his chair, Zin walked over to one of the many array of books he had. Running his sleeved hand along the spines of the books, he pulled a rather tiny book out and returned to his seat. Yamatano's request was quite... intriguing. Why, he wondered, did he think Zin wanted to posses Kiri? The place held nothing ideal for him. No extraordinarily unique resources, legendary items... nothing. For he cared not for the swords they held, as he had 'Amaterasu'. "Your words of peace, entertain me Yamatano-san." Zin finally replied after turning a few pages, "It almost sounds as if you thought I was going to utilize power to harm your village. Surely, you must think me better than that." Zin giggled as he looked up from the book and tilted his head, "Kirigakure has no interest to me. Attacking it would be a waste of my resources and my shinobi's lives. Plus, my Ge-Ge," He said in reference to Matsuya, "Befriended Kiri for as long as I remember. I respected the power that it had. So to put a seal your worries, there is no reason for me to turn my sights on Kiri." After finding a spot to bookmark, Zin dog eared the book and closed it before returning complete attention to Yamatano, "Though if peace is called, I do not see the reason that it should not be made. We have helped Kiri in the past, so if another contract of peace is made I am sure this can be arranged." Zin after all, was soon going for the highest position, so making decisions such as this by himself doesn't matter; they'll give him the power he requires after he sends them to the afterlife. He is just bidding his time, and waiting for the moment that 'rabbit pokes it's head in the wrong burrow.'(( Such a bad post. >.<; But class has got me sleepy! crying ))

The one blow that truly stung was the mention of Kirigakure's bloody history. Yamatano had been one of the first graduates to grow up in the years after the mist's barbaric graduation ritual, but he knew he would forever have to live his life with that unjust burden to carry. Still, Yamatano did not object, for even if he personally did not deserve the flak, it was one burden Kirigakure as a village truly did deserve.
As the statistics came at him like bullets, Yamatano truly tried to see things from Zin's point of view. While he had no way of verifying the records, if they were true then Zin had effectively created one of the most efficient villages in the world. Crime was nearly nonexistent, employment was skyrocketing, and the academy produced higher caliber shinobi like they operated on an assembly line. Given the state of the village, Yamatano had to doubt Zin's claim of lowering poverty, but he soon shook the thought from his head; having been raised as the son of the Hatake clan head, Yamatano had lived quite a privileged life, and when he thought about it, had little right to determine the standard of living.
Still, what Yamatano saw in the eyes of the people under this system was fear. Their entire lives were dictated by the whim of Zin, and even the slightest resistance (Or in the case of the gate guard, sometimes no resistance at all) was an excuse for the shinobi of the village to apply deadly force. He saw no way in which even the current prospering could be worth the happiness of all these people, and yet, what position was he to argue it? There was little he could accomplish by speaking his peace, other than angering the Hokage. All Yamatano could do was pray for the safety of the people.
Finally, as Zin questioned him on his proposition of peace, Yamatano was able to give a sincere answer. "Kirigakure no Sato is my home. It is the place I have sworn to live in, to protect, and to die for. I will protect it in all ways, and one of the best, I've found, is promoting preemptive peace. I would ask that you not feel offended by my question, as it is something I would ask of anyone."
"At any rate, Zin, I believe I can grant you what you want. You will, however, have to accompany me out of the village, if you can spare the time. I must admit, I'm on a rather tight schedule, but if you're ready to leave, I am as well." Yamatano awaited Zin's response as he mulled over the deal he had just made. Truth be told, everything had worked out better than expected, but Yamatano still couldn't shake the feeling that he may come to regret his actions in the future. He didn't know if it was the fact that he was making a private alliance between himself and the Hokage, the fact that a small part of him wanted to keep the snakes to himself for purely selfish reasons (easily ignorable, but still present), or the fact that he just couldn't bring himself to completely trust Zin yet. Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Zin honestly didn't want to throw the blow of Kiri's past on Yamatano. But he didn't make it easy for him not to, with the comment he said about his village. The efficiency, even if it was 'questionable' in some eyes, made Konoha ready. Even the elders, despite them having some fear of Zin in the first place, are tight lipped about what to do about Konoha; for rather now, there isn't much of anything to improve. Paper work, still comes in, but it usually is mundane things that can be settled without a problem. And how did Zin accomplish it? Through fear and force. People crossed the line, they are punished tremendously. The pain or death they receive, streaks through the village to instill that they should 'stay in their lanes'. Should stay in line and obey, they are not harmed and are rewarded peace from Zin's wrath.
Some, he needed to break so that he could make a statement, but if they prove their efficiency then they won't be subjugated to pain. It would be different, if Zin just went about slaughtering them all. But if there was one thing Zin did take from Matsuya's teachings, is that the people of the village is what makes the leader stronger... he was just going about that teaching in a different manner. Plus, if a child who has lived in being a street urchin for so long can make something of himself due to the harshness of the world, then other people can as well. After studying the human mind 'extensively' through his experiments, humans can surprise you with how well they can accomplish things when their lives are on the line. Failure, is not an option after all.
Zin nodded slowly to Yamatano's answer, still a little fangy to it but he decided at the very least, he could walk him to the gates. It may have a good impression that Zin didn't wish to kill him. Or at least, make an unnecessary public showing. Raising from his spot, Zin would turn briefly to Naiten and Hiniko, "Nai-chan... Onee-chan. I will be back momentarily." He said, speaking to the Hyuuga and the small doll of a girl before looking back to Yamatano and started towards his door, "As much as I would like to pursue in visiting the Snakes now, I cannot with the state the village is in." Zin said as his sleeved hand opened the door, letting Yamatano out first, then his snakes. then himself. "With the concern about the 'Hero Water' being stolen, it would be unwise to leave the village. Even more so," Zin looked over to the lovebirds to the side of his office standing before the crater he created with his weights, "Not only that, but I have shinobi to direct in order to assist this matter." Zin would point to them, and motion for them to follow. He'd be able to handle their needs upon walking back from the gates after he finishes speaking business with Yamatano. "But I know you will be more than likely in your village.I will seek you out, when I can assure the safety of my village is made." Zin said as he'd walk side by side of Yamatano while his serpents slithered behind them and in front of the two Genin should they follow.[ Exit ]

As sad as Naiten was to see Zin go, even if it was only for a bit, the girl simply nodded and agreed to waiting. While she may have not reacted to much of what had been said, she had been carefully listening and what she heard made it clear that it was probably best if Zin dealt with this matter without unnecessary interference. Besides, he was busy enough as he was. It would make little sense to trail meekly and without cause behind him when he had so much to do. the small girl thought to herself as she brought a petite hand to her mouth in thought, . The usual ninjutsu and genjutsu were something Naiten knew were far out of her reach, the elders of her now-deceased clan had explained the strange abilities of the family to her. and here the thoughts stopped.
Suddenly, the small girl cringed and shut her eyes tight as both of her hands went up to tightly hold her head. She began shivering. The memories of that day were coming back, as they always did whenever she thought too much about her massacred family. Just as tears began to fill her eyes, though, Naiten froze. She took in a deep breath and then exhaled that deep breath while straightening up. The pained grimace that had filled her face while she remembered was replaced by the girl's usual stoic, doll-like expression. Slowly, her hands returned to her side. Naiten thought as a small smile flickered across her face momentarily. Yes, she had Zin now. He was all she needed.
The momentary episode of trauma might have receded, but Nai still had yet to find a way to become stronger. She knew of one way. Although, as demonstrated just moments ago, it brought memories that the girl could not stand.

"Just because I just had my privacy violated doesn't mean I'm going to be all taijutsu on your a**; I seriously just wanna talk. Now, since the Kage just ditched the place, despite our waiting, I think we shouldn't be here until he returns." Murasaki said as calmly as possible, despite the fact she really wanted to attack Sypher, though she didn't want to be as shallow as the girls whom may of been correct about him... And the fact she knew basically no Taijutsu.

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Coming back to his snake pit, Zin returned to his office only to briefly make an announcement, "Nee-chan... Nai-chan... We will start training now. Work on as much as you can. For I am sure that you both know what is happening within our country after what was discussed in her only a few moments ago. With us low on shinobi, we will need to handle this issue ourselves. So... Let us get to work." Zin said before walking down the pit until he got to the bottom tier where his personal training grounds lay. The screams that one would hear when they get to the bottom two levels of the tier, were the loudest at the bottom, and when they opened up they only got louder as they knew what was to come in a few minutes after they opened. It was time for Zin to train.
Upon entry, Zin ordered that a mixture of five prisoners and disobedient villagers to enter the mini-arena. For what better to train on than living bodies? To make it entertaining, Zin spoke to them as the stadium doors closed behind him and his ANBU watched eagerly to watch thenexgt slaughtering from this vindictive child, "If you wish to live, kill or make me bleed and I will free you. Or... Survive until I am finished training and you will be freed. Of course, "Zin said as he lavished in the fear he felt in the air from his prey, which fed Nagi and Hitan's hunger all the more, "...with such stipulations I will be forced to fight you all at full power. So... Prepare yourselves." Zin said as his enemies had a short pause as to how they should approach the situation at hand. That hesitation was all that was needed before Zin too make many paces towards them and unfortunately, as they moved in the right direction to start speaking amongst each other Zin's approaching steps made faults in their thought processes. Making it hard to think with that spawn of evil walking closer and closer to them, until the aura of his murderous lust clutched their hearts with such a squeeze that it made one prisoner begin to hyperventilate, "Well... If you aren't going to strike first. I guess I will." Was all the warning they'd get before his vicious hiss would be heard.
When he got close after the short sprint he made to close in the distance, Zin would unlock an ability that he has long since studied since the fall of his teacher. The opening of the Second Gate, or better known as the 'Gate of Healing', which is positioned in the brain just like the First Gate. Zin figured why mostly for the reasoning of the effects it does. The body keeps a hamper on it's full strength so that we, the humans, don't move to tear something. Should he unlock it, Zin will gain powers and physical strength unbound!
Taking an extra step to perform an aerial attack while simultaneously twisting his upper body and further contorting it through his bloodline's 'Soft Body Technique', he fused it to make the strength of this attack even greater by firing chakra to his brain to unlock both the first and second gate. When the 'rubber band' effect unloaded upon his opponent, Zin smacked the two victims that he flipped himself between with impressive strength. Cracking the side of their face upon the first spin with his metal weights, and smacking their shoulders to send them spinning in the air upon the second spin. Canceling the unlocking of the gate as he landed, hearing the groaning of his first set of victims, Zin's delighted slitted eyes looked to the other three with a sadistic child like smile underneath that waterfall of jet black hair, "Fighting like this... You might not even get make me withdraw 'Amaterasu'." Zin hissed before sprinting once more at his pitiful prey.

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu Zin then decided to take his eight gates once again, another step forward. To release the 'Life Gate'. One that is positioned at his spinal cord.
Based on the notes he gathered, this is where the danger really starts coming on when it comes to learning this technique and all the techniques thereafter; mostly, that he will not be able to use them but once a day. Any jutsu that has a stipulation such as that means that there is exceptional damage to the body; even to a person whose chosen the path of Taijutsu like Zin has!
Standing up Zin looked to his ANBU and pointed to the cowering men, "They aren't playing very fun. Give them your swords." Zin said as the men were shocked at this but with the way those slitted eyes leered at them from underneath the veil of jet black hair, they obliged quickly and tossed their blades to the men below. They didn't want to be replaced with the test dummies Zin was making. He looked at the three unscatched men and the other two who were leaking plasma down the sides of their faces. Time for more fun! "Now, this that you have weapons I can hold back even less." Zin said with a playful pip to his voice. Like a child about to play with his favorite toys, yet it was a tone to the men that reduced any confidence they had with holding blades diminished even more. The child had more power to crank up on them? What was the point of these swords?! This situation was just... simply... sadistic!!!
Walking forward and stopping with a little crouch, Zin waited and tried to focus chakra into his spinal cord. Trying to find which vertebrae would be needed to unlock the power of the 'Life Gate'. If he unlocks it correctly, he will meet one of the targeted opponent's in a mere blur and the strike thereafter will be the ones sending them to their doom.

Like a loyal puppy, Naiten had followed Zin quietly down to his training area to watch from the sidelines. At first, she had attracted a bit of attention from the few others in the area. It was one thing for a child like Zin to be down here enjoying his sadistic training. However, the quiet girl seemed so innocent and out of place, as if there wasn't a trace of cruelty within her. The small gentle smile she wore as she observed Zin seemed completely out of place. However, as always, the doll-like girl's silence soon made her an object of the background, something no one really noticed.
Naiten's only reason for smiling was, of course, because she got to watch Zin train and that he had thought to invite her down to watch his training. After the excursion down into Zin's secret village, the girl had become used to, no enjoyed, watching the torment and fear of others, at least when Zin was the cause of it. She, however, remained uncertain if she could ever do such feats herself. That worry still plagued her.
Related to the worry, Naiten realized, As much as she disliked having to move away from Zin, she despised being a handicap to him even more, especially since she felt that even if she trained to her utmost, she would still not be good enough for Zin. Quite reluctantly, Nai slid away and returned aboveground. She wasn't certain how, but she needed to train.
