You have to do what is best for you.
In the end, it's you and the people that you care about that matter. No one else.

This is just my personal experience, but Stephen and I had a pretty cyclical relationship. We were younger, selfish, and hadn't learned how to have a real relationship yet. But since we've been together a while, and learned from our mistakes, and learned how to communicate better, things have been awesome. Not perfect, but no relationship is.
And frankly I got accused by Stephen's best friend for being a "negative influence" on him, and his best friend actually refused to come to our wedding.
All relationships take work from both people, and I think anyone has the ability to better themselves. Personally, I think our relationship has made us both better people.

Everybody Anjel is friends with likes to put the blame on me by saying I have him whipped and don't let him go anywhere when the reality is that I encourage it and he just doesn't want to hang out with people who drink and do a lot of different drugs to have fun. he doesn't do anything, but that's all they want to do. So how am I the bad guy? rofl. Even his niece says I have him whipped and I'm just like, you should know better that he's not that kind of person. Not much coming from her when she's been doing stupid s**t since she was 15 and she has a bunch of mental health problems she doesn't try to control or fix. SIGHHH.

Aww yeah, I think our issue is similar because Stephen's friend is really into drinking and going out to eat and considering Stephen was an alcoholic and stopped drinking, which he also knows, so he didn't want to do hang out too often also because we can't afford to go out let alone the places this guy likes to go, haha. Hopefully they all pull their heads out of their butts.
