Emily chuckled and shook her head. "I use to play in the park all the time when I was little..." She walked along, the smell of dinner wafting from the house and hitting her nose. "Looks like they've already started on dinner..." Her pace quickened some. Crys Walked out of the pantry with a few fresh herbs and watched Tsukiko look at the clock. "She'll be along, dearest. So long as she comes home safe I'm sure she'll be fine. She likely got stuck with another late night at the office." Walking by her mate, she kissed her cheek before walking over to the other cutting board and dicing the herbs. Sukiyaki finished assembling her glock and set down the rag she used for cleaning it. She had been practicing that day at the range, honing her aim skills down to be as good as she possibly could be. Her uncle had been nice enough to help her purchase the gun and she was still very much determined in becoming a body guard. Glancing out the window, her ears flicked out to the side. "Oh she'll be home any minute now.. but we'd better set an extra place at the table..." She looked into the kitchen and smirked before sliding the slide closed with a metallic click.

She smiled as her family assured her more. "I'm sure you're right, I just worry about all our girls," she said and kisses Crys's cheek before getting back to cutting up the meat. She blinked as Suki said about an extra place. "Extra place? Why?" she asked before blushing and smiling a little. "You think Emily will bring a beau home for dinner tonight~?" she asked and smiled. She still had yet to meet anyone her daughters met as potential mates, but as long as none of them hurt her girls she would be fine if her daughters were happy.
Asmara smiled as her mama comforted her mom. She loved that her parents were so in love and wondered if she'd meet someone she could love like that. Her mind flipped to her best friend, Chrysoprase, and she blushed a bit but pushed it away to look at her sister. "Awww Suki, you're gonna scare him with that gun of yours!" she said and giggled. She was happy her sister had found something she enjoyed though.

Joey looked at the house and seen a female...... were these all females??? He gulped, staying by Emily's side. "Um...I'm kinda thinkin it's kinda." He cut himself off and started to sweat. "Err, um..." He wanted to run away.... He felt like a child who broke something and hid it, and the parents just found it out. "Maybe we should...slow down...."

Emily stopped and eyed him closely. Was he seriously dropping this on her now? Turning, she faced him. "How.... How come?" First he tells her he wanted to meet her family, get to know them and now... now he was saying they should slow down? It was like a blow to the side from out of the blue. "O-oh.. I I s-suppose maybe...." She trailed off, allowing her sentence to face as the disappointment seemed to scroll over her face.
Crys fought the urge to rush to the window to see what Suki was saying. "Oh really now? Are you spying on your sister then?" She chuckled trying to keep a level head though the waggle in her tail gave it all away easily. "Well then Suki, Why don't you put your gun away, clean up and set and extra place hmm?" She looked over her shoulder to her mate and other daughter and smiled with a light chuckle. "You never do know my dear.. Perhaps Emily's found that some one who can help her be more mindful of just how much kindness can go.."
Suki smirked once more and stood up, tucking the now clean gun into the soft case she went into the kitchen and washed up before pulling down an extra plate and some utensils. As she set the table, she looked out the window once more to see the expression on Emily's face. Dropping the plate onto the table, she took two steps and was in the window once more. "I cannot believe this! He looks like he's breaking up with her!"

Tsuki sighed and smiled. "I hope so..." She pushed the cut up meat into a pan and began cooking when Suki said he might be breaking up with Emily. "What!? He hasn't even met the family yet!" she exclaimed, a little miffed that he would lead her daughter on like that and then break up with her so close to the house.
Asmara growled when Suki made her pronouncement. "He better not hurt Emily!" She might be younger than Emily, but all the same she was very protective of both of her sisters as well as her mothers. She wanted them all to be happy and she would hold a grudge against anyone who hurt them.

"I'm, I'm ugh.....I'm not used to being around females." He felt like he was gonna freak as he seen now 2 woman in the window. 'H-h-how many females.....Don't you have some brothers???" He was nervous being surrounded by woman. Pretty females, but none could ever be as pretty as Emily. But still, being raised in an only guy house of 10 including his two dads. "I'm just, ugh....females make me feel um, they make well the4y scare me. I mean yea, you are diff, because there weren't two others with you. But, are they all females????"

Emily looked back at her house and then looked back at Joey. "I don't have any brothers... just two mothers and two sisters..." Her voice was soft, meek, breaking as she fought not to cry. Some how she had a nagging feeling that he was about to turn tail and run and worse yet, she's seen Suki in the window, spying no doubt. "You can go... I.. I won't say anything if you want to leave.." Her eyes focused on the ground as her wings shrugged, before she pulled her blanket up and over them. She wanted to curl up deep within her blanket, hide from the world as it seemed to be falling apart on her. "We may be an all girl household.. b-but.. we're not as scary as you think.... well.. maybe Suki might be but.. but.. well.. she's still sweet as cherry pie if you give her the chance..."
Cristalina nearly cut herself as she heard Suki. "Oh my.. Suki.. perhaps you should give your sister some privacy hmm? Just in case it's what you think.. Besides.. even if it's not we don't want to frighten the poor boy by our leering..." She took the chopped herbs and put them in with the meat before starting on a nice light citrus drink to have with the meal.
Suki snorted as she watched a bit longer before finally heeding her mothers words. "Spineless twit." She grumbled and picked up the gun case before stalking into her room ad slamming the door. It was obvious from what she'd seen that she wasn't about to let him fool her. She say the look of disappointment on her sisters face and that was enough to doom him in her eyes. She didn't want to hear her sister's broken voice when she finally did come in.

Tsukiko winced when Suki slammed her door, but she understood the feeling. However, her mate was right. Emily deserved a little privacy for something like this. "Cmon, Asmara, away from the door, dear. Finish chopping up the veggies for dinner and then go see if you can calm Suki down a little," she said and pulled her daughter away from the door as she moved away from it herself to keep a better eye on the meat so it wouldn't burn. Damned if she didn't want to go out there and give that boy a piece of her mind, though...
Asmara growled a little, but she let Tsukiko lead her away from the door and finished chopping the veggies and put them in the pan with the meat and herbs before heading upstairs. "Suuukiiii!" she called and knocked on her sister's door. "Sukiiii...can I come in?"

"Leave? I would never leave you! I may be nervous, but I'd never abandon you, even if it were at your very home you live! I promised I would always be there for you, no matter how much I piss my pants scared of all the females in your house." He grabbed her tight and hugged her tight, whispering in her ear. "You are stuck with me now, sorry" Then kissed her softly.

Her mind melted all the terror and doubts fading as he hugged her. "I had feared that you'd changed your mind.." She buried her face into him. "Com on.. Lets go see my family.. I'm sure by now they're starting to wonder what's keeping us.. After all Suki's likely told them we're here." She chuckled returning his kiss before turning and heading to the door.
Her ears perked as she hears foot steps drawing closer to the door, not just one set but two. "Sounds like they're coming in after all." She smiled at Tsukiko and mashed up the potatoes.
Suki unlocked the door and opened it a crack. "Common..." She stalked to her bed within she and Asmara's room and flopped on it. "She looked like a kicked puppy.... I don't know what he said to her but it didn't look good..."

She smiled at the sound of two sets of footsteps. "Just in time, too~ The food is almost done." She hummed a little as she finished up the meat and started to dish it out. "Suki! Asmara! Dinner is ready! And your sister has a guest!"
She sighed and flopped on the bed with her sister and nodded. "He looked like a jerk...I hope Em's not hurt too bad by him..." she said and made a face. Next thing she heard was their mother's voice saying dinner was ready and that Em had a guest. "Huh? Hmm...I guess it wasn't as bad as we thought?" she asked before sliding off the bed. "C'mon~ let's go get dinner and interrogate Emily's friend," she said and grinned, knowing her sister would enjoy that prospect.

He fallowed Emily to the door, he was very embarrassed, being around woman made him feel, i dunno, strange? "Here goes nothing." He waited as the door opened, almost in shock, because soon he knew he would be surrounded by females. He cleared his voice as if he were going to say something, but he wasn't, must be nerves.

Emily chuckled, walking through the front door with ease. A quick glance around told her Suki had been cleaning the gun because there was still the faint odor of gun lubricant in the living room. "Forgive the faint smell of um... funkiness... My sister must have been cleaning her gun." She lead him towards the kitchen. "Mom, Mother... This is Joey."
Crystalina smiled at the sound of Emily's voice. "Ah there you are Emily." She met them just inside the kitchen with a warm bowl of mashed potatoes. "It's a pleasure meeting you, Joey.. I'm Crystalina."
Suki gave a snort. "I wonder what kind of smooth talking he did to weasel his was in here.." She'd always felt it was her duty to help keep her elder sister out of trouble. With a wide grin, she slid of the bed after her sister. "We could drill him better if I brought the glock..."

Joey looked at the females and gulped. "err, um, my name is Joey" (yus he was introduced, he's just nervous) "I-i-i-it's nice to meet you, your daughter is a very nice girl, and very beautiful." He bit his lip, should he have said that??? What if they think he is only with her for looks?? "A-a-and she is very smart too!" He gulped again, he started to feel dizzy so he sat down.
