Phina laughed lightly when he said it was a sailboat, "a sailboats still a boat," she said with a small smile. "And it's very nice to meet you as well Micheal." The wink did not go unnoticed, but Phina didn't react to it, instead she looked around at his next question.
"Hmmm, to be honest I hadn't even thought to look. I could use a nice margarita right now though. It's been a long day, women coming all day to find nice outfits for their dates tomorrow."
She gave a blank look when he mentioned her card before it came to her making her give a slightly nervous laugh, "oh that. I was only joking, but I mean I'm a grown woman, you know." It was Phina's turn to wink, she had been joking, well partially anyway.
"Yes, I'm from here. Lived here most of my life, though I traveled a lot as a child. I'm here for good though. Destiny City is so unique, though crazy thing happen that are just woah." Phina laughed enjoying herself. "Are you from around here?"

Goo Jun Pyo Catarina wasn't entirely sure what to think when a not so happy looking person joined her table. She knew that everyone who arrived at this event wasn't looking for love, and who knows maybe half of them didn't even want to be here. Catarina knew that, but she knew that deep down she wanted at least a happy looking partner. Smiling as friendly as she could, Catarina responded with her natural heavy accent. "Why hello there, Skye right? It's nice to meet you." She gave a bright smile, as she continued with the conversation. "I guess we need to get this going. Since we're each other's blind dates, I guess we should try to have fun at least. One night won't kill us, hopefully." She explained to her partner, looking at the papers on the table. "We could do this 20 question game, it will give us something to pass the time with?" Catarina just didn't want the awkward silence to come over them, everyone else seemed to be having fun so why not join them? Skye looked around at everyone else and then shrugged. "Why not? Might as well pass the time." After all this girl could be fun as she was at a blind date why not flirt a bit? It wouldn't be the first time she had been after a girl... "Okay, so how old are you?" First question, after that she would decide if it was worth flirting or not. "And then should probably ask one off this stupid list, but you can ask first, I suppose I did just ask you a question after all..." Was there alcohol around here? She looked around then smirked, taking a bottle out her jacket and filling a cup up that she had picked up on the way in. "You want some?" Might as well make this a little more bearable.

Well that wasn’t the reaction he had been expecting and Arian found himself sitting awkwardly as Harmony blushed in reaction to his comments on her outfit. To the dark-haired teen it had been a simple compliment like the one he’d made on the costume she’d decided to wear at the Masquerade Ball – a polite acknowledgement of the effort it looked like the mint-haired teen had made. It wasn’t really helping Arian’s sense of awkwardness that the third member of their table also looked like he had put in an effort for the evening, the dark-haired teen feeling out of place and even a little childish with his froggie hair tie as he took in Jett’s formal attire. “Pleased to meet you too Mr Draven and there’s no need to apologise.” That awkwardness had Arian slipping back into the formality that had been a staple in his grandparents’ home as he held out a hand for the other to shake. “I’m Arian, Arian Laith, but I guess you already know that.”

“Ah, but the pleasure is all mine. Though, I must inquire—Mr. Draven?” Jett prompted with a good-natured smile. He took Arian’s hand in his own and gave it a warm, friendly shook. “There’s no reason to be that formal, I don’t think. Jett is just fine. And, I’m afraid I don’t know much else sans your name, Arian. Other than what was listed on your card. And that you like frogs, I assume?”
The comment was not spoken with any sort of mocking tone; it was merely an observation. Casually, Jett slipped his hand from Arian’s after they had a good few seconds of shaking, and he smiled at Harmony before dipping right into conversation. “Now, I’ve been,” he paused, “fortunate enough to meet Harmony outside of this little gathering, at her coffee shop. In her natural environment. You both like art?”
He leaned back in his chair, clearly having no issue in playing social butterfly. “I know you do photography, Harmony, and you did…what was it, Arian? Jewelry making?”
He imagined that counted as some sort of art, if not crafts, but all be damned if he knew enough to figure out the difference. “Both very interesting hobbies.” Not that he cared to explore them, himself. He was testing the grounds, trying to gauge how best to continue with conversation with his ‘dates’. He wasn’t quite sure Harmony was going to be willing to invest too much of her time in him, and he wasn’t about to be the third wheel. “May I ask what about it catches your fancy?”

Fortunate her big toe! Harm barely stopped herself from scowling. How could he sit there and make light of something that had really hurt her? She went back to feeling small and uncomfortable, a knot building in her stomach. Why was she allowing him to make her feel this way? Whatever happened was months ago and yeah, it hurt, but he was still as much of a jerk now as he was before so why was she suddenly hoping for something different. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Jett was simply going to be Jett and she didn't have to like it but she couldn't expect him to change, either. She was stuck for now and had to make the best of it.
"He's really good. I've seen his work."
So long as they were focused on Arian Harmony was alright. She wasn't happy by any means but she was determined to get through it. She'd be damned if the blond ruined this experience for her. She smiled, or tried to, and took a long sip of her water. She didn't think she'd need to resort to the card in front of her with all the questions to get through the night. She wouldn't be talking to Jett much and she knew Arian enough that she was pretty sure she could come up with things to talk about.

“Jett then” Arian agreed quietly. The ‘Mr Draven’ had probably been a bit much – especially as according to the card the blond wasn’t that much older than either himself or Harmony. The dark-haired teen was relieved that the other had seemed to be pretty easy-going about it. “And yes, you’re right, I do like frogs” he smiled ruefully, before admitting “Well not really frogs themselves more frog accessories to be honest.” Even though they knew each other, Arian got the feeling that Jett and Harmony weren’t exactly friends and it made him feel more awkward than if they had been three random strangers flung together. Neither of the other two seemed uncomfortable, or if they were they seemed to be hiding it really well and Arian resolved to try and make the best out of the evening – he could always try resorting to asking questions from the question card if needs be. Being asked about his jewellery-making hobby helped, it was something Arian liked talking about “I guess I like taking things and making them into something new and pretty. Although I wouldn’t call it art” he had misunderstood Jett’s question about art. “I do sketch some ideas out but it’s more to give me a visual picture.” He looked at Harmony “Harmony is the artist.” Well to his thinking photography was an art. “That’s how we met.” Harmony had taken his photo.

“Ah, yes, both artistic individuals,” Jett mused, and while he tried to sound approving, there was a certain barrier he would never be able to cross. Jett was a logical thinker—more interested in business and the mechanics of things than the aesthetics. “I can’t do it and I won’t bother trying. It’s far from my forte. Won’t stop me from admiring those with talent, though. I’ve seen some of Harmony’s work. At the coffee shop she works in? Or, at least,” he glanced at the girl with another sweet smile. “I assume she still works there, we haven’t seen each other in a few months. I met her there, over a Shark’s Tail, Shark’s Tooth…one of them, was that the name?”
He waved his hand nonchalantly; the details hardly mattered. “Whatever. Either way, best damn espresso I ever had. And she was quite a charmer, that one.” He winked at Arian to emphasize his point. “Though, it does make me wonder. Harmony seems like the type to be doing just fine in the relationship department, so…”
Leaning forward in his chair, Jett laced his fingers together and rested them atop the table. He glanced between the two, still smiling, “What, exactly, brought both of you here? Are you honestly looking for true love or were just very, very bored?”
