Surai had wandered about the grounds of the castle as well as the interior, becoming acquainted with the giant grounds and multitude of rooms the place had to offer.

It was odd, being here, at least in Surai's opinion. She was used to cooking and cleaning and providing whatever services asked of her for one person, she supposed her master had willed her to be sent here upon his passing simply to give her some rest. So she could relax and live the rest of her life being cared for with a roof over her head and no option of being adopted by someone abusive or cruel.

She was here now at the outdoor pool because the part of her that was Siren, enjoyed being near and in water. So she had donned her bathing suit, a white bikini set with green polka dots, something that showed her fun loving nature, and headed for the outdoor pool, it felt more natural than an indoor pool.

Her grey-blue eyes cast about, observing any others that happen to be in the pool area, draping a towel over one of the chairs grouped with others of its kind, a table with umbrella in the middle. Long, dark chocolate brown hair was pulled back into pigtails, her long-leggy figure looking fabulous in the two piece bikini set.

Surai kicked off a pair of flip-flops, leaving them near her towel as she approached the edge of the pool, sitting down so she could sink her legs into the water, sighing softly as the chill water met her skin, goosebumps erupting across the surface of her skin when the water makes contact.

Surai glanced up as someone else entered the pool area, her grey blue eyes, like the color of the sea when it grew stormy, followed his progress as he laid his towel out on the ground and stripped himself of shirt and pants. Her cheeks flushed crimson, unable to keep from staring at this rather handsome man for a few moments before she tore her eyes away to gaze back down at the water.

She had been taught that it was impolite to stare, but she had also grown up around a sixty year old man, not a young looking, handsome one such as this. She's curious now though and watches him through a side-long glance as he slips into the pool.

She sees his wave, her cheeks flushing again and she decides that since he's the only other person she's seen so far, she may as well make an effort to be polite. Her former master hadn't spent so much time teacher her proper manners for her to get all shy and rude now.

Surai slides forward into the water, submerging herself for a few brief seconds before breaking back through the surface of the water, all of this done silently, feeling more herself when in the water. Its an easy task for her to swim over to him, stopping when she's in front of him, the only thing visible above water are those Siren eyes, and the top of her head, covered in dark, chocolate colored hair, dark to the point of being black, especially now that it was wet.

Being part Siren, Surai was able to breath underwater, hence the reason all he can see is her eyes up. It probably did appear a little odd, and she seems frozen for a moment as his gold eyes settle on hers, she's mesmerized by them. She had never seen such an eye color and she wanted nothing more than to stare into them endlessly.

He may have begun to think she wasn't going to move, much less return his pleasantries when she suddenly realizes how rude she is being and raises up from the water so she is at his level, smiling so sweetly, a soft flush in her cheeks, ashamed because she knew her previous master would have been disappointed with her display so far.

It was hard to make a Siren speechless, but his glance alone has done this, so its still a few moments before she can find her words and make her tongue work. "H-hello Respeh Shai, its a pleasure to meet you." Always the polite one, she even makes a sort of curtsy in the water, bowing her head ever so slightly, though her blue-gray eyes, the color of a storm at sea, stay glued to him.

"My name is Surai," she says softly, even a little shyly as she places her slender-fingered hand in his offered one. "I do not need anything, sir, I was simply curious." She shoots him a smile and she's just got this innocent look to her, her intentions nothing but genuine.

"I have really only ever been around women, and a very elderly gentleman." Surai had been raised since her birth, by humans. Had she been raised by her Siren mother, she probably would have been a lot less innocent and a lot more take what I want, but that was not the case. As well, the place she had grown up in had taught her common courtesies, as well as household chores, but growing up in a house full of pretty maids would do that.

"I'm a pet, sir," she says and giggles softly, quite innocent for her age. Not to say she didn't know how to flirt, she could very softly flirt, as the old man she had lived with had enjoyed the banter very much, though had been much too old to force pretty young women into pleasuring him physically, he simply had not been the type. Even so, she feels very shy around this man and is maybe a little more disappointed that he lets her hand go. She was used to the occasional pat on the head, and not much more.

Her eyes widen a bit when he shares with her that his only company had been the dead. She finds that to be terrifying, and wonders what it was like for him growing up. But its his next statements that confuse her, and he'd see that on her face, the type that was an open book. One always knew what type of mood Surai was in, simply by observing her face, a veritable 'heart on the sleeve' type.

"I-I don't belong to anyone right now," she said, and there was a bit of a sadness in the statement. She had been a pet the majority of her life and it was weird, not belonging to anyone. She missed it, craved human contact, in fact. She was one of those hopeless romantics, her daydreams were about some wonderful Master coming along and whisking her away, someone she could love who would love her back.

She's also not naive enough to not understand what he means though, and she blushes, shaking her head. "Oh no, no! My former master was too old for that stuff." Its a testament to her innocence that she calls it 'that stuff,' but that's not to say she isn't interested in having relations, simply not trained in the way a sex slave would be.

Her cheeks flush crimson at his bluntness, but she likes the fact that he thinks her cute. She thinks him rather cute as well and since he was blunt enough to give his compliment, she does as well. "I think you're cute too." She could just die, red in the face now, but it only adds to that sense of naivety and innocence.

Surai had heard of pets, or slaves as they were sometimes called, being treated cruelly. She didn't know anything of that though, having grown up in a violence free home. She cocked her head to the side, a curious look on her face. Do you have a pet, sir? She assumed if he was here, that he must at least like the concept, even if he didn't understand. She doesn't think he looks cruel, but sometimes one couldn't judge by looks.

A look of sympathy crosses her face as she hears that his pet is sick. She wished this pet of his luck in getting better because she knew being ill was never any fun for either person, the Master or the Pet. "I really hope she gets better, I really do." Her words are genuine as are her intentions.

She tilts her head slightly, wondering if there simply were not enough pets about the castle, or if he simply had very high standards. "I sure hope you find someone to keep you company until she is better."
