Bartholomew noticed that the woman and... another... something, who was following her, was walking towards entrance Charlie, the secure one inside of the skyscraper. Getting on the microphone, he activated a speaker near her, and said, "Take the elevator down to floor B3. Once you are there, go towards the south side wall. I'll be there in a minute." Putting on a bullet proof vest, he began to cover himself with tactical armor, before pulling over it clothing, to make it look like he had no protection. He put the colt in his sling, threw the rifle over his shoulder, petted Horatio, and started to head out of the door.
When more movement on the monitors caught his eyes.
Another girl, coming from the south. Bartholomew scanned his memory for information on that route. South side... that is... entrance Hotel. Should be secure, haven't checked though. He lept back onto the mike, activating a speaker near the girl sniffing the ground. "Go to the abandoned subway entrance. You can find the entrance through the phone box." He said breathlessly. Grabbing his pills, he ate one and headed out of the door.
Emerging from the secret entrance, Bartholomew checked outside of the door and in the stairwell. Satisfied with not finding any zombies, he stood there, waiting, and alert.

((How terrible of me for not posting sooner, it seems you've all writen a freaking book since I've been gone. Ah but this night owl needs to make a run to the store then will be back with both coffee and energy to make another post. Have fun while I'm away kiddies. c; ))

Sydelle paused when a voice came seemingly out of nowhere. She took a deep breath, resenting being ordered. But her curiosity continued to get the better of her. Better in here than dealing with the panicked throng outside. So she took the elevator and went down to the floor as suggested, for she considered it only a suggestion, and went toward the Southern wall. Grr followed, grumbling. He hated elevators. Anything electronic, really. Fortunately his nervousness made it even easier for her to keep control.
She stopped at the southern wall. "Quite the adventure, wasn't it?" She murmured to the behemoth behind her.

Kary was astounded by the person's jumping ability. Any normal human wouldn't be able to that as easily as she did. Kary blinked a couple times when the oman reached her. "My name's Kary." she paused, examining the person. They didn't look completely normal either. It seemed some mechanical parts replaced organic ones. "No offense, but...what are you?" She looked Desirae in the eye. "Are you...human?"
The dogs that were following her were still down there. Stupid as zombies were, these dogs didn't simply give up to hunt for something else. Some even tried piling on each other to reach her. "No rest for the weary, apparently." She glanced over at Desirae. "Those mutts have been following me all day. I just can't seem to lose them. And I'm pretty fast." She poked her head out the window and yelled, "Go away already!"

"Well I was human at one point. But how I got this cybernetic body is too long a story for the moment." she explained looking down at the dogs. "That doesn't look like man's best friend!" she joked trying to hide her snickers.
Desirae walked toward the edge of the roof and looked down. "We're stuck unless those things get...'taken care of' huh?" she spoke with a smile. "Before that, have you noticed all the directions on the walls and streets? I think we should follow them. Maybe it's directions to a place to go shopping!" she joked and was also hopeful of the chance to possibly max out a credit card.
Leaning ever closer over the edge she looked down. "those things look vicious, maybe even pretty quick. Can I do it?" she thought to herself palming her weapon.

"I don't know how we're going to get past..." Kary thought aloud. "They're pretty agile, but I managed to land a couple blows with my axes before things got too one-sided." She looked out he window, seeing strange markings that seemed to lead somewhere. Zombies sure wouldn't do that. There must be other survivors somewhere. "Maybe we'll find others wherever they lead."
Kary dug out her pistol, flinching at the pain from the leather pressing against the wound on her palm. Steadily she aimed at the dog closest to their location, and fired off a shot. A loud bang echoed through the streets, scaring the dogs, which went into a mild panic, barking their heads off, almost literally. They didn't seem to be phased too much, so she let off another shot, striking a dog in the skull and blowing a portion of its head to pieces. It ran off, most likely trying to save its hide. Kary let a couple other shots loose, which lessened the pack further. Eventually all ran off, and Kary put her gun away. "Now how do we get down safely?"

"Oh, you got a pair of axes? My little sister uses a giant axe herself." she smiled reminiscing as the shots fired brought her back to reality as she the dogs scurry off. "Good idea, as of how to get down..." Desirae broke her sentence to walk away from the ledge and kneel down; "Piggy back!" she suggested with a bright smile. "We'll jump down! I'll keep you safe!"

 Jasmine Langdon Jasmine blinks slightly, thinking still of the zombie, wondering if it had any 'friends'. So she decides to wonder off, trying to make less if no noise as possible. Thinking; how could this've happened? Why were there maniacs who looked brain-dead walking around? Who did this to humans? Not that she minded. She never had much to do with them, for she outlived all that she knew, she wondered what drew the thing out.
Did it have all it's senses? Did it see her, or hear her, or both? She would've loved to get close to one to see, experiment with one, but the thing didn't have any vitals that would help her determine. She wondered what else it could, and couldn't do.
She passes a few buildings, her flat boots not making any noises. How would she attract the survivors, if there was any, to her to maybe explain this madness to her.
Then she thought of it; fire. She would make a fire! Or make the fire large enough for possible others to see. But where, where would she go? If she stayed on the ground, if another thing saw her, saw the fire, and when someone DID come, the thing... Did what to them? She had a bad feeling about the things, but doesn't understand what they did, she didn't want to find out.
Gulping, she decided to keep on scanning for a safe place with fire that she could manipulate.

Kary looked at Desirae. She seemed like a nice person, though the little girl was still a bit uncertain, and she couldn't quite place it. However, she was witness to the woman's capability in leaping, and anywhere would be better than here. Hesitantly, Kary climbed onto Desirae's back, wrapping her arms around her neck. "You have a sister? Is she...like you?" the question may have sounded rude, but Kary was only curious.

Bartholomew watched as the elevator closed. He watched the two make their way to the south wall. He coughed a little from behind them, walked passed them, and slid his card into the wall, opening the door. Walking inside, he turned and greeted them, his hands shoved into his pockets. "Welcome to the safe house. My name is Bartholomew. You are welcome to stay here as long as you are clean, and you do not cause any trouble." He said grimly.

Sydelle looked Batholomew over with an appraising eye. He seemed to be in control, more or less. And she was never one to turn down a chance to work with someone higher up. And a guy in control of one of the few safe houses of the world was high enough up for her. "Sydelle." She replied quietly. "The sweetheart behind me is Grr." She motioned to the troll. "Don't worry. He's never caused trouble... unless trouble was necessary." She smirked. "Walking corpses don't fluster him either. In fact, he quite enjoys them, don't you dear?" Grr grumbled again. It sounded oddly like purring.

Lifting herself and Kary up she walked to the ledge and and bounded off toward the wall of a building next to the one they were on. "My sister is..." she explained slamming her feet on the wall and leaping off it to the wall behind her on the original building; "...is almost my polar..." she kept going on and off walls until her feet hit the ground. "She's a tomboy. I'm the feminine one and she's well not so much, HA!" Desirae laughed and looked around. "She's polite and everything like me, but when we lose our temper...well...heh." she chuckled and knelt down again to let her passenger down. "Thank you traveling on Valhalla Air, we hope you enjoyed your trip and please watch your step upon disembarking! Hehe!" she chuckled; "Just like when we were kids."

Kary smiled as she touched ground with her own two feet. "Did you two fight a lot?" Kary looked down a street to her right before turning her attention back to Desirae. "Or did you get along?" She dug out an axe and playfully balanced it in her palm. Her head then whipped around, and she heard some faint moaning. They'd have to hurry to where the lights took them or face the zombies. It was probably inevatble, since she didn't know if any would be in the way. She stopped playing with her axe and gave it a tight grip. "Sounds like we should get going, eh?"

"It would be best to walk and talk." Desirae agreed and started to follow the directions while getting her naginata ready just in case.
"Sometimes we fought and sometimes we got along. But we always got in trouble because of her foul mouth." she continued and walked on.
"Hey! You rotted filth! I dare you to try that again!" Tina exclaimed to the zombie assassin she was fighting.
"She often yelled and insulted a lot like that..." Desirae paused in her tracks; "Because that is her! Come on, Lets see what kind of trouble shes in!" Desirae sounded almost excited and she skipped toward her sisters voice.

  ℳαɼα ℛѳʙɪɳsѳɳℒѳcαϯɪѳɳ: Under attack by lepers? Still really confused! And what language does everybody speak?(( Gotta say, I'm loving what I'm seeing so far. Everybody's doing great!)) Mara had expected to be seized and mauled by the leprous creature. What actually happened was a man dropped out from the middle of the air and split the damn thing in two! He vanished through the ground and reappeared directly in front of her, though how, she couldn't imagine. She looked up in bewilderment at her tall savior and opened her mouth to thank him when he spoke in a foreign tongue. It sounded vaguely like one of the several dialects spoken in the Salthat States, but she couldn't make heads nor tails of it.
A few of the other creatures moaned behind the man, and Mara was finally able to bring her pistol up. She took aim and fired, shooting one in the shoulder and knocking him back. It was intended to wound, something she always strove to do whenever she was in battle against newly conquered states. It wouldn't do to kill the taxpayer base, after all. The others stopped in confusion and cognitive wheels seemed to start turning stiffly in their minds. Another strange language floated to her ears and Mara wanted to throw her hands up in disgust. What good was it to be found by people who could help if she couldn't understand what they were saying?
The other speaker was a woman who approached cautiously, weapon leveled at them. Alarmed, Mara brought her own pistol to bear quickly, and said, "Lower your weapon!"
Her words sparked a reaction in the creatures, and they lunged forward again in that oddly stilted gait.
