Do you really need to be here much longer? you've had your fill of stuffing your face, so let's leave. I've better things to do.

Like not this. We're leaving, now. Rue made sure to screech on that last bit, her vocal intonation just enough that Ofelia stood up and slapped at her ear. she probably looked like she was having a fit to the others but, seeing as they too had head voices, someone must have understood.
And so it was like that, in that manner, that Ofelia left the party. She wished she'd snagged another slice of pizza before she left.

Ami squirmed out of the black-haired boy's grasp, feeling uncomfortable already. Not only was she being shoved into something she definitely didn't want to take part in, he was also staring at her like she was the craziest thing he'd ever seen. What was it? Did she have something stuck in her hair? That actually happened quite a bit unfortunately ...
No, he was back to looking at his pizza. Maybe it was nothing then.
A moon hunter then stood up taller and made a ... sort of bizarre speech to everyone. Ami looked at him a bit worried. This was one of her division-mates? Err ... teammates? Or ... what exactly did you call them? Oh well.
His speech wasn't exactly ... promising. It was also rather crude for Ami's tastes, but she figured she wouldn't remark on that. Smiling casually, she looked at Marcus and Wilson talking to each other, as well as Syd asking questions. Not Ami though. She was very content to just be the quiet observer in the corner.

A sigh. Chiming into the conversation after Sy'd comments, Ami said, "Err, hello Marcus. Interesting speech up there," she didn't bother to comment any more thant that, "Nice to meet you. Like I told them," she gestured to Wilson and Syd, "My name is Ami. We're uh- division-mates?" Ami was apparently the queen of awkward introductions.

Wilson threw Ami a confused expression as she wriggled out of his grasp. It hadn’t been a very intimate touch, just a hand on her shoulder. He kept his hand frozen in the air, placed over an invisible shoulder before he finally drew it back and used it to grab another cup of soda. Wilson made a silent note to himself to try to touch Ami as little as possible. If she preferred to shy away from even a mere touch on the shoulder, then he really didn’t know what kind of contact was fine with Ami. How puzzling. “Oh. Um. Sorry.”
“Yeah, I get that, but…I guess it’s pretty blunt?” Wilson shrugged his shoulders at Marcus before taking another bite out of his pizza slice. “I just think it’s a weird way to welcome them after…yeah.”
He flashed Ami an amused grin—maybe he should try to teach her how to not awkwardly introduce herself sometime—before turning toward Sydney. Wilson stared at her for a few moments. “I don’t think going on a booze run would be something you would want to do.” He frowned. If he recalled correctly, Ryan had even been left been behind on that fabled beer mission.

"Really? But it sounds so normal, compared to... well, everything else that's been mentioned," Sydney said with a look of confusion. "Speaking of which, how DO you go shopping for necessities here?" she asked.

Marcus Smiled. "Yeah well, I'm sure who's ever in charge of the parties and things realized handing it off to Julie might have been a bad idea. Or, she was just messing with us." He didn't really think another booze run would be happening anytime soon. As Cass arrived, Marcus's eyes went right over to her, filled with glee. "Morning Cass." He waved at her. She was so cute after waking up. She could probably fill in the gaps for some of the mist trainees once she was more alert. The girl who approached him got a smile. "Nice to meet you Ami. And moon was it? That's good. You and Saya- that's pretty good turn out given the small batch you guys are. Last one there was hardly any moon at all." A few but, sometimes the others were just hard to track down. "If you want I can show you around and start you with a mission and training runs. I go out pretty much daily myself."

"Marrccuussssssss" Cass sounded about as tired as she looked as she fumbled over to the Moon Hunter and sprawled on him, leaning her head against his shoulder comfortably. He really was the best mobile napping-place ever and she appreciated all of it. Even if he'd probably be willing her awake in a few moments.
"Izzis all the newpeopleeeeee?" she slurred, waving one hand in a sort of dead-fish-flopping gesture towards a few of the 'Lambs' as they were called. It wasn't the most attractive first impression of the intermediate Mist Trainee, but she was trying at least.
Cassandra, you need to wake up and get away from him. -Now-. Nicodemus said tersely in her head, disapproving of the proximity futilely while Cass looked up at Marcus at the mention of 'training'. "You'll go on training runs with them but not with me??" she sounded hurt.

Ami shot a smile at this Marcus boy. He seemed undaunted by her strange introduction, which was probably for the best. He mentioned a girl Saya, she should probably find out who that was ...
More importantly though? Marcus was relatively ... incredibly attractive. Something about the goatee was rather handsome to her- but then, she'd always liked men like that. Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp? Yes please.
As soon as he smiled at Cass and she put her head on his shoulder, she knew what was going on though. Clearly they had some sort of relationship that went beyond just friends. Ami was not about to get in between that. She was NOT the type to go for others' boyfriends. Cross Marcus straight off the list then. Ah well.

Looking back at Cass, Ami noted that she was a bit ... Well ... Out of it, to put it politely. Cass continued talking before Ami could get in a response, but she was willing to wait. In response to Marcus, she said, "That sounds lovely, but it can wait. " Wait, because he clearly had something more important to do. Turning to Cass she said, "Ah ... good morning?"

Cass's falling on top of him earned a grin. "Not all of them I don't think, but a good amount, and babe you know what happens when we go on training runs. Half was through we end up getting distracted. Or we both end up so miserably ruined that we have to stop. Besides, you get all my free time already." His hand reached up, pulled he a bit to give her a quick kiss. Looking back at Ami his smile was still there. "I'm not really buy later today or in the next few days. Friday I'm meeting up with a senior hunter for some sword lessons but other than that I'm free. Any time you'd want me to show you around?"

Cass pouted. "I..guess that's true." she pined, perking up a bit at the kiss. It was as though Prince Philip had just come and woken Aurora with the whole True-Love's-First-Kiss the way she just suddenly seemed to alert. Mmmm, Markisses. "Doesn't mean I don't want to occupy all of your time. Always. But I guess distance makes the heart grow fonder."
She sighed a little bit, before looking to Ami. "Sorry, I'm a napper. I wasn't before, but you'll learn to nap whenever you're not training or on mission, for the most part. Because damn if Julie...oh god, Julie..." Cass looked to Marcus, "Did you warn her about Julie?"

Oh! Oh wow this was awkward. Ami looked down at the ground bashfully as the couple kissed. She almost felt like she was interrupting something. Then again, she just felt sort of uncomfortable about anything relationship-related.
It seemed the lady, who's name Ami had missed, was quite a bit perkier now that they were done, much to Ami's delight. She much preferred someone coherent over someone slurring and laying all over her boyfriend. That was just personal preference though.
"Ah ... Julie?" she said, looking back to Marcus for assistance.

Now that Cass was 'back in the saddle' so to speak, Marcus felt things would go much better. At the mention of Julie- He shuddered. "Julie is ah...she's the moon division assistant. A bit 'special' in the sense she's the one who likes to give missions at 2 am and give you cookies that, I s**t you not, will turn you into a cat. She's like that." He sighed and rubbed his head. "She's also the highest ranking moon hunter on the island right now."

"Hey, those cookies weren't all bad" Cass corrected, having quite the happy memory of a very hot 29 year old Marcus in her head.. "But she's also the kind to send a group of underaged kids on a booze-run at 2 in the morning." She'd bypass the part where the popo caught them and then Saving Private Ryan had to happen after that.
Still, now more alert, Cass was less inclined to just lay all over Marcus, leaning against his side instead, looping her arm in his.
"Oh, did I...shoot, I didn't introduce myself!" Cass seemed to suddenly realize, extending a hand to Ami. "I'm Cassandra Norris, intermediate Mist Trainee."
