Even if I can't win against anyone, I won't lose to myself. But for sure, my losses will make me grow stronger! Junctions: Leviathan Level: 6 Health: 500/500 Mood: Joyous Location: Winhill Garden Magic: Water (3), Blizzard (2)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Song(s) of the moment: SMILE
Lloyd sat conversing with his friends as Kalay has slipped into the room. During his energetic conversations he noticed Tae and Ellale. His heart sank a bit because Pretty Kitty was still in her hospital wear. He wasn't sure if she should have been out but..who was he to rob her of this moment? It was around then Kalay and Carbuncle has slipped into the room. The blond was a little slow to notice why everyone was begging to quiet and look forward until he did so himself. Everyone seemed to straighten up as Kalay spoke and silence filled the room. The atmosphere was tense as everyone seemed to cling onto Kalay's every word. Lloyd gulped but kept the hope that he would pass. After what had transpired it be a crime if he didn't right? Those whose names weren't called would be SOL, while those who made it would have their official SEEDs uniform waiting for them in their room. Then once fully dressed they would meet the headmaster on the third floor. This was getting intense down as Kalay shuffled through papers and prepared to read off the names of those who passed. The moment of truth as that unbearable silence dragged on until infinity. "Nona Winchester, Lloyd Nipal, Taeria Limmari, Avienda Lancaster, Clay Verdart, Maia Cahiri, Ellale Laytos, ... Riyel Vicaria, Erik Valay, and Sophia Vinginshy." At that moment everything for Lloyd seemed to freeze in time. He didn't notice the crowd go into an uproar, he didn't notice his friends turning to him with excitement expressions, and he didn't even notice Kalay's next action. Though he was confident he would pass, actually hearing his name shell shocked him. His life was all leading up to this moment. Lloyd just simply just stood there wide eyed. From the day he left Fisherman's Horizon with a promise to his parents, from the moment he began to train with Sensei, from the second he emerged from the water in the examination after being flung off with Sophia, his whole life had led up to this. Plip, plipTears continuously cascaded from his cheeks before impacting the floor below. 'Mom...dad...I did it. I really did it.' he thought before bringing up his sleeve to his eyes. It was no use, his tears kept flowing. "I DID IT!" he shouted with a joyous laugh. His friends all grinned at him and congratulated his achievement. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Sophia quickly leave the room...it was understandable. This was..this was simply too much for ones heart to take. Without a second thought Lloyd stood and embraced the first person he could get his arms around, which happened to be Nona. There wasn't a shred of malice in his embrace but rather his hug shared all of his emotion, all of his triumph at overcoming strife to stand there among his peers. Tears still flowed from his eyes but all he could say was "We did it..we did it.." over and over. He knew she must of come through some tough things herself so as the parted he gave her a warm smile. Through his cloudy eyes he noticed Ellale and Tae celebrating. Quickly he made his way to them and embraced them both. His hands fanned out and rest on the back of their heads bringing their foreheads together. Lloyd grinned happily even though the water works showed no sign of stopping. "We did it! We really did it!" he said with a bit of a crack in his voice from all the tears. "I'm so proud of you two! You deserve this! We all do!" he continued before pulling them into a group hug. He kissed both of their foreheads and hugged them like that was the last time he would ever see them. The sheer emotion coming from him now would be enough to soften even the toughest of hearts. They had come through so much only to stand at the top. After a few minutes or so of sharing that moment with them Lloyd walked up to his sensei that was nearby. He wiped his eyes for a temporary fix and grinned at the man as well. Lloyd pressed his fist to Kyrrdis pectoral "Thanks for everything ya jerk" he laughed before hugging the "Azure Wolf” as well. He owned so much to Kyrrdis. This man had put him through hell and then some but pushed Lloyd to challenge his own strength and body. There's no doubt the young Nipal wouldn't be who he was without his teacher. Without a moment to loose Lloyd let go and bowed "I'd like stay and all but..well ya know I'm a SeeD now!" he said before running off. Lloyd couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he ran and ran and ran. All he could think about was getting back to his room. Before long he finally arrived panting and opened his door. There he was greeted by the familiar sight of clothes thrown every which way concealed the floor, past notes and reminders were pinned to the wall hopefully to jog a memory, a calendar hung above the work desk, and dust lined most of the furniture, namely a bookshelf displaying some rather good reads never opened. He entered the room and closed the door behind him only to see his SeeDs uniform laying neatly on his bed. Carefully he lay down next to the uniform staring at the sealing. "I DID IT!!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs before laughing excitedly.

---
Nona had moved into the actual classroom when it became clear which one the group was meeting in. She perched near the front on a whim and leaned back in her chair, trying not to look like she felt cold in her extremities. The more she tried to relax, the worse it became. Nona was smart enough to know nothing was ever certain. No matter how well she did, there was always some loophole or some aggravated instructor who could pull the rug out from beneath her. The only thing that made her feel a bit warm was the thought that if Rabbit Boy stiffed her because of his little fit in the hotel, she was going to beat him with his own- She was interrupted from her thoughts by Lloyd plopping down beside her, though he seemed to take no notice of her.
The dull murmur of the room died out as Laytos walked in carrying a folder, Carbuncle already perched on the instructor’s desk. Even after the mission and the nightmare of the hospital room, the next few seconds felt like the longest of Nona’s life. She knew it wasn’t the case; it had been worse a year ago, hearing names called out to the end, waiting for the instructor to continue and read her name out until he had folded the paper back and dismissed them. Her fist clenched at the thought, and she found herself staring at the back of the paper Laytos pulled out as if she could glare hard enough to make the text appear on the opposite side.
"Nona Winchester-"
She didn’t hear another word. As people began to perk up around the room, hearing their names called out, Nona was motionless in her chair. Her fist had unclenched, and she felt cold again as if they weren’t packed in with every member of the mission who had been able to walk there (and a couple who couldn’t). As certain as she had been on the mission that she wasn’t going to fail, hearing her name had floored her. Laytos stepped back to the wall. There wasn’t a word of contradiction; it was no joke or trick...There was a twitch at the side of her mouth that she realized was a smile breaking through.
Nona almost leaped out of her chair, unsure what she was going to do but unable to stay sitting. Then there were a pair of arms around her, and before she caught on, she realized she was hugging back and looking at Nipal. That moment of recognition tore the smile from her face and she recoiled, but when he released her from the hug, just full of joy for both himself and her, she couldn’t find it in her to deck him like she would have any other day. He bolted past her, and as she turned, she spotted Vinginshy rushing out the door. Trying to focus, she ran through the names in her mind; they hadn’t consciously registered, but she had heard them easily enough to remember. She hadn’t expected the little healer to make it, but offered a sincere, if meager congratulations in her mind.
With no desire to remain in the crowded room that was now a hub of delight and misery, Nona strode out proudly, deciding not to hide her grin. Let them see; she had earned the right to strut. Not a soul in the Garden who saw her on her way to the dormitories could mistake the air of triumph. She didn’t speak a word and had a surprisingly hard time thinking. Every time she tried to muster a coherent thought, it would be pulled inexorably back into a spiral of I did it! I’m a SeeD! Galbadia can go f- and so on. Whatever loyalty she might’ve held toward Galbadia Garden, meager as it might have been, vanished in the wake of this recognition. They had failed to see her ability when it was right under their nose, and now she was a SeeD for a Garden that could see her potential.
Nona found herself at her dorm after the walk that seemed half like a dream. Despite her delight, she found her hand shaking when she reached for the door. It was going to be there...Proof she could hold, and wear proudly. She turned the knob, went in, and for the next ten minutes or so the door remained firmly locked.
Nona emerged from her dorm after she had composed herself; she’d washed her face and straightened her hair a bit. As gaudy as she had found the SeeD uniform in the past, she’d never been more proud to wear something. Again, she wore her favored stockings with the uniform instead of leaving any length of her legs bare, but there was no other change. It fit just right, tailored for her over the last three days, surely. There wasn’t a drop of uncertainty in her any longer; she headed for the central elevator with a calm, self-satisfied grin. This was her day.

She was surprised seeing Kalay. It made sense really, after all he was an instructor so he could give the results, but she was still surprised to see it was him. She waved, not really thinking about it, nor the fact that he would know just by looking at her that she wasn't supposed to be out, but he didn't seem to mind at all as she and Tae snuck into the classroom to hear the results with everyone else. There was no rush, considering many were injured and slow to entering, but they all did as Kalay pulled the papers out from the desk. She barely heard Tae's question considering she could hear her own heart beat in anticipation. She nodded in agreement though, knowing Tae was right. Kalay, even with his pretty passive reactions, seemed happy to see her moving about. His expression compared to others, was nice. Many seemed uneasy to see Ellale standing in the white clothing. It was probably because everyone knew she shouldn't have been moving just yet. Clearly she was okay though, otherwise she wouldn't have made it so far.
Carbuncle was sitting on the desk patiently, looking adorable as ever as Kalay started to read of the names. Ellale smiled when she heard Tae's name called, but at her own name she blinked in surprise. What had she done to deserve to be a SeeD?! She was frozen in her spot for a moment, staring dumbly ahead as the rest of the names were called. And then, the hug. Ellale winced as Tae pulled her into a hug, nodding lightly and giving a pained smile. "W-we did, nya..." She said with a faint wince, clearly having been hurt by Tae's sudden hug. As Tae released her slightly, Ellale noticed Sophia running off, and then Lloyd. He was crying, but he looked so happy. It was interesting to see, and Ellale gave him a gentle smile, flailing suddenly as he hugged both of them tightly. It hurt. He didn't stay long though, leaving shortly after his hug. Ellale waited for him to start away before kneeling down, putting a hand over her stomach as she winced.
She coughed lightly, waiting for a moment before looking up at Tae with a faint smile, realizing she was probably worrying her friend. She glanced over at Kalay, seeing him reading a paper, before turning her attention back to Tae, forcing herself up to her feet. Clearly what had happened had hurt her in some way, but she seemed fine after a moment. She seemed a bit steady but she was standing firmly enough. She knew what she had to do now: Go back to her room and get changed and meet everyone else. That would be easy enough! Without much thought, Ellale grabbed Tae's hand and pulled her along, staring away from where they had been, offering a few congratulations here and there, getting out into the hall so that there wasn't so much noise. It was here that Ellale put her free hand around her stomach gently, as if she were still feeling some pain there, but generally she seemed fine.
"Come on Tae, lets go back to our rooms and get changed!" For someone who had been in pain moments, ago, Ellale seemed fine now as she started away, expecting Tae to follow. If Tae was worried, she could ask Ellale about it along the way to their dorms. Ellale herself felt find so long as there wasn't much pressure put on her from people, hugs being a major problem to that.┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉ Magic

Riyel "The Quiet One" Vicaria Now I think I understand How this world can overcome a man Like a friend we saw it through In the end I gave my life for you Gave you all I had to give Found a place for me to rest my head While I may be hard to find Heard there's peace just on the other side
Not that I could or that I would Let it burn under my skin, let it burn Junction: Ifrit Level: 6 Health: 560/560 Location: Winhill Magic: Fire(3) & Ice(2) §▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ {{Ooc:// }} {Current Theme Song: Dear God- Avenged Sevenfold}
Riyel stood there, his head looking at the ground but never less he continued to listen. Currently, his thoughts were all over the place. They were to how Sophia had reacted and run off to the simple nervous feelings that he was receiving over the results of the exam. Honestly, he hoped to heaven that he would be able to become a full fledged SeeD...but the fact remained that there was a nagging doubt in the back of his mind as usual. Maybe...just maybe he had not done enough. Those thoughts were what occupied the blonde teenager...and what frightened him. All that effort and there was a grand probability that his best or what he perceived to be his best was purely unacceptable by the standards of others. His hand seemed to shake while his hair covered his eyes, the hand forming into a fist as to ease the constant quaking that was coming from his hand.
But the words finally came out, and Riyel’s breath was held with a constant source of anticipation. It seemed to take forever…but then it finally came out from Kalay Laytos mouth…his name. At first, a feeling of shock coursed through the blonde’s system but then it slowly relented into an odd feeling in his chest. It wasn’t painful certainly but it wasn’t just pure pleasure either…perhaps a sense of pride…relief…or maybe both. Neverless, Riyel seemed to slump as if resembling towards a wilting flower, a small smile upon his face. No words of joy or exhileration like Lloyd had done…but instead, out came a ragged breath of contentment, his eyes closing. He had done it…or at least a single step of his journey. Gramma... He thought to himself, seeming to call out to the deceased elder woman, I'm closer....to making you, Momma, and Daddy...proud. And slowly, after those thoughts erased from his mind, he faded away from the room almost unnoticeably.
It didn't take long to get to his room either. In about five minutes, he was in his room which was its usual tidy he had come to embrace. His clothing lay on his bed...his new uniform. It was almost too good to be true, the clothing sitting there and seeming to call for him to wear the token of his victories today. Gingerly, Riyel grasped the clothing as he sat on his bed, holding it close to his chest as he thought of all that had occurred throughout most of his life and what was yet to come. He thought for a moment before lying back on his bed, facing the ceiling, with his clothes clutched to his chest tightly.
▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§ I hope it's worth it Here on the highway, yeah I know you'll find your own way When I'm not with you

Location: Winhill Garden, Outside Sou-Ho's room Guardian Force: Ares Theme Music: And today, I leave you But I’ll be back someday And as I fly away My hope is that we’ll meet again I’m off to my home away from home I will miss you, but I know you know
I’m coming home to Winhill No response came from Ivaria for the moment. Rather, it seemed that she was more interested in eating her salad rather than responding towards Eamonn's obviously irritable mood. Munch....munch...munch.... her mouth crunched as the leaves ground underneath her white teeth. Yet after a couple of seconds, she swallowed, looking up at Eamonn before taking a small drink. Feeling slightly filled, the fork in her hand fell to the table, Ivaria cracking her knuckles before looking almost bored like at the man across from her. "I'm going on the mission...and I was wondering what predicaments or info I could obtain before anything...bad happens." Her face remained calm as she brought out her pipe, simply fiddling with it in her hands while she mulled over some more thoughts.
"Would you share anything please?" Please was the magic word after all and all she really did want was information of some kind. Her breathing remained at a steady pace, nothing too over exerting while her eyes caught Eamonn's face. Ivaria really wasn't one with a great number of friends. Even though she was an individual that was born and raised in the Winhill area, she was treated as an outsider for working in the Galbadian Garden for a couple of years. Eamonn was one individual that she had at least SPOKEN to on certain occasions as others seemed to avoid her like the plague...not that she really gave a damn. She just found the irony...disconcerting. She was closer to Winhill than many of the individuals in the Garden...but that was the irony. Oddly enough, Ivaria really never cared for irony.
I’ll take you everywhere I go I’ll show you everything I see And as we say so long I know your tears wish me well It won’t be long till I’m back again We will meet again, we will meet again, you’ll see
I’m coming home to Winhill

She slowly walked over to her bed and touched her new SeeD uniform. Do I really deserve this? She thought as she picked it up and stared at it. She glanced at the time and put the uniform down. I have to hurry... I hope.. that this isn't some mistake.. She thought. Sophia could picture her standing there while the headmaster spoke to each SeeD then he gets to her and sees that this really was a mistake. She would be so embarrassed in front of everyone. This made her hesitate as she was getting undressed. She chewed on her bottom lip and just continued undressed herself to get into her new Seed Uniform.
It seemed to fit her perfectly. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled softly to herself. I hope that this is actually real... She thought as sh walked away and into the bathroom to wash the tears and so on off her face. She re-brushed her hair and let out a deep breath. Its still so hard to believe though She thought as she walked out of her bathroom and out of the dorms.
Sophia kept her head down and walked quickly to the elevators. She didn't want to talk to anyone yet, she didn't want to take in someone elses exciting just yet. She still felt this wasn't right. Thankfully Sophia got to a elevator alone and was able to to go up in silence rather with someone who would want to talk to her. Once at the third floor, Sophia nervously took a step out and walked forward slowly to where she was to stand. She was the first to get there.

Eamonn grumbled, slouching forward over the table even more, casting a glance around the room. Most everyone was caught up within their own conversations and affairs, so despite being in the most public place and out in the open it was as if the two were given the most private booth. Determining that no one was eavesdropping on their conversation, Eamonn folded his arms on the table, and turned his emerald gaze onto Ivaria. I don't know why you are so sure that I know anything. I was forced into the flaming position, and didn't even what that. The position of leading the flaming team that would have to execute the flaming mission he had been flaming given. The thought of it made him grimace, and the sight of Ivaria's pipe brought about a craving he had been forced to kill long ago when he came to Winhill, when the flaming devil they were speaking of offered to walk him through the seven stages of Hell if he hadn't quit on the spot. The only thing I can share is that you don't want on this. This isn't any D-Ranked mission you may be used to working. Hell, it's not any kind of mission I'm used to working! No one would be. This was a one-of-a-kind mission. The kind that no one in their sane mind would sign up for, which was probably why Sou-Ho wanted it kept so quiet.
"This mission is strictly Sealed Orders, Eamonn. I have only revealed this much because you will be leading the team that will head the orders we have been given by the Headmaster. And because... if something should occur to me during the mission, I will need someone who I can count on to ensure the safety of the students. This mission will not be without casualties, and I don't want them to go through any more than what they have already."
Flaming Ice King... Eamonn grumbled, closing his eyes and gripping his fist even more, his knuckles stark white. Uhh... Eamonn suddenly groaned, clutching at his mouth and holding his stomach. Sonuva... Without even excusing himself, he shot to his feet and bolted in the direction of the bathroom, hand clutched to mouth and with a look so determined he might have been able to will himself through a brick wall. It was only minutes later, after the announcements had cut off that he returned, looking even more of a sour puss than before, ordering a drink and draining the entire contents in a single go before returning to the table. Listen, I can't give you any details. That's not my place to go spouting my mouth just because someone asks. If you want any information about the flaming mission, go ask his flaming majesty, Lord Sou-Ho Von Frigid. I, on the other hand, am going to go sleep. I have a feeling I'm going to wish to be as alert as possible for tomorrow. After hurling the contents of his past meals, Eamonn was now feeling much in the mood to just return to his dorm. But with the way the mission was looking... he was sorely wishing that he was back in infirmary, unable to move.

Nona might have been the first to arrive again, but she took her time on the walk from the dormitories to the central elevator. She had her head held high, a grin that was half defiance and half triumph stuck on her face. While she walked, however, a uniformed girl brushed by her in a rush. The long hair made her easily recognizable even from behind: Vinginshy. Oddly enough, the girl had her eyes fixed on the floor and Nona could see she hastily entered the elevator and jammed the “Door Close” button to ensure she went up alone. Nervous, perhaps. The fledgling operative didn’t let it sink in and before long was taking the very same elevator up, also by herself. The others were probably still wrapped up in congratulating themselves. As bothersome a she found most of them, she didn’t begrudge them those feelings. If she had been in charge of judging the candidates, the roster of graduates probably would have been much shorter, but tht was Winhill’s problem.
The elevator doors opened to the decorated hallway which led to the Headmaster’s office, its doors still shut. Nona stepped out and indeed found only Sophia waiting, still fixated on the floor. Now that she was closer, the girl picked up on more subtle clues. A redness around the eyes and nose, shifting where she stood, not even looking at the elevator when it dinged...Was she actually scared of something?
Under most other circumstances, Nona would have ignored the girl without a second thought, but she felt compelled to reach out, after a fashion. Making her way over with a slow saunter, Nona positioned herself in front of Vinginshy and crossed her arms, her smile replaced with a firm scowl. ”What are you looking so miserable about? You just became a SeeD! ” She left out an addendum of “heavens help the Garden.” ”Hold your head up, at least!” she barked, glaring at the girl like some hard-nosed drill sergeant might at an under-performing private.

He acted as if they would never see him again. Her eyes glanced over at Ellale as she caught movement from the girl out of the corner of her eyes as she’d been watching Lloyd leave. She was bent over holding her stomach and soon after coughing. Worry crept into the girls eyes as the other glanced up with a smile. How could one smile through obvious pain? She regretted now the excited hug she’d given her friend out of her own excitement and hadn’t really been thinking. However, before she could really say much on it right then her hand was taken up by Ellale and passed the other student’s smiling and nodding her head before they found their way in the hallway. The rest of the students that were left in the room slowly departed from the room behind them as they walked away from the room and back towards the dorms. Her eyes landed on Ellale a small smile as she watched her friend warily. “Okay. How are you feeling? We didn’t hurt you too bad did we?” What kind of friend was she to have hurt her like that? Though, it wasn’t like it was on purpose. Still… it didn’t sit right with Tae, not one bit. It had made her chest feel tight and hard to breath. She was quiet for a moment as she waited for Ellale’s response to her questions as they made their way back to the dorms. What might not have seemed far to some it seemed like a long ways for Tae. Lloyd jerked up in his bed remembering he had to go to the Headmaster's office! Laying here like this almost caused his to fall asleep. He glanced at his uniform again and couldn't help but shout with joy again. "Imma SeeD~" he chanted as he entered the bathroom to straighten himself up. A tug here, a bit of styling there, and some mouth wash couldn’t hurt. Finally, with a bit of additional struggling and a few mumbled curses, Lloyd emerged from the bathroom garbed in his official uniform. Pride swelled on all his features as he bolted his foot into the air twice. His kicks met no resistance which only excited him more, "Whoa..these don't slow me down either?! Man, can this get any better!?" he thought allowed before straightening his clothes again.
As he walked for the elevator the thought of Sophia crossed his mind. 'I hope she's ok..I know! I'll give her a hug' he thought picking up his pace. 'Yeah I'll definitely give her a hug!' he decided with a grin upon reaching the elevator. With the press of a button it ascended and he stepped out on the floor that would change his life forever. Wasting no time he made a beeline for the Headmaster's room but saw Nona talking with Sophia. Wait..judging by Sophia's demeanor..it was like she was being yelled at. "Jeez..leave it to Nona to ruin a good day" he muttered with a scowl before sneaking up behind Sophia. "Congratulations!!" he shouted wrapping his arms around her waist from behind squeezing her. His head rested on her shoulder as he grinned, hopefully to cheer her up.

「 Ellale 'Cat' Laytos 」 {Junctions}- "Azale" {Level}- "Five" {Health}- 350/350 {Location}- "To the third floor... it's really pretty" ┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉
So why did Ellale smile even though she was in obvious pain? Well, having Tae worry really didn't help anyone. Actually, anyone worrying didn't really help. She knew she was injured, that's why she was still in the white attire. She knew she had to be careful, so there was no reason to worry the others with the fact that too much movement hurt. That was obvious. She actually couldn't take someone squeezing her, as in like a hug. The pain in her chest was enough to make her dizzy. She actually didn't have a clue what the cause was, but... she had fallen to the water, unconscious. Perhaps the impact with the water had broken some of her ribs...? She honestly didn't have a clue. It would help if she could remember anything, but she couldn't. Well, what was done was done. She was still alive and moving, so who could really complain? Well... Tae could. So could Kalay... and Lloyd... and anyone else she knew. Basically, everyone could complain about her being injured and forcing herself to move. That was why she didn't want them to know.
To her relief, and then dismay, Tae didn't say anything about having seen Ellale hurt until the two were alone in the hall, getting into the elevator to head back to the first floor. Ellale instantly laughed like it was nothing as she held her hand over her stomach, but it was rather obvious that she was still hurting from it. Regardless, she did a good job of acting like nothing was wrong. "I'm fine! Trust me. You guys didn't hurt me." She was doing a bad job of lying though. Regardless, by that point they had reached the first floor and the two were walking on their way to the dorms, exiting the reflection pool area quickly as Ellale walked with a faint hop to her step that almost made it seem like she was skipping. Did she stop for anything? Probably not, in hindsight.
And then they were at the dorms. Ellale said her goodbyes to Tae, rushing off to her room without warning to get changed. She actually didn't want Tae to see her as things were... because as soon as she got to her room, she nearly collapsed. She made it as far as her bedroom before collapsing onto her knees as she held her stomach, coughing. She was hurting badly, but it wasn't just her stomach. Her chest was hurting as well, and finally the girl forced her back against the bed and tried to control her breathing which had gradually been picking up since Tae and Lloyd had hugged her. Slowly, as she rested against her bed, the pain in both areas subsided and she was able to stand and take a look at the clothing laid out on the bed. It was... wonderful in a way. She smiled as she gently picked up the fabric, holding it in her hands for a moment before nodding her head. She was a SeeD...
It was not much later and the girl had pulled on her uniform, the white clothing left on her bed as she stared at herself in the mirror. She didn't really look like herself... the long straight green hair, the yellow eyes staring back at her. The uniform was so stuffy to her... no wonder Kalay didn't like them. When she thought about it though, him in a uniform looked strange as well. It was so... formal. She thought she looked so much older in the uniform, and certainly not very cat like. She gave a pouting face at the mirror, though it looked strange so she dropped it with a faint laugh. Well, she was ready... or as ready as she could hope to be.She took in a deep breath, wincing as she did so, before smiling. She should be proud. She was a SeeD now.
It did not take long for Ellale to get out of her room. In fact, the thing that took longest was trying to decide where to wait for Tae. She remembered mentioning to Tae that she would meet her with everyone else, but she kinda wanted to wait for her anyways. Perhaps Tae had already gone though... and with that thought, Ellale had continued on her way from the dorms, holding her hand over her stomach as she walked to the reflection pool. She stopped here in the open space to look into the water, marveling for a moment at how quiet this place was even though it was so open. Not many people spoke in the reflection pool area. It was a place for reflection after all on things that had happened. She didn't stay long, finishing up her looking into the pool quickly, getting to the elevator and going up to the third floor alone. She looked out the glass windows as the elevator went up, watching the ground below get farther and farther away. Eventually, she passed the halo ring of the second floor, the second part of the elevator ride to the third floor looking out onto the fields and the various buildings. This was, obviously, the highest point of Winhill Garden. It was here that the headmaster looked over all of the Garden. Winhill was a speck in the distance, but one could see it if they knew what they were looking for. Ellale smiled softly as she watched, feeling the elevator slow as it entered the third floor. Walls were once again around her, and as the door slid open she could see Lloyd, Nona, and Sophia all talking amongst themselves. She gently and quietly stepped in, still holding her stomach lightly as light streamed through the nearby windows. This place was perfect to her... but was it all an illusion considering what the Garden stood for?
With thoughts getting dangerous, Ellale pushed them back as she cast a quiet smile at everyone else, staying a short distance away mainly to avoid physical contact considering her condition. Hopefully no one asked her about it. She was still in some pain, but she was moving just fine so they shouldn't worry too much, right? Right! Plus, this was an exciting moment. ┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉┉ Magic

Sophia had to earn a reprieve from her compatriot, but something about the sight of the girl bucking up really did lessen the irritation that Sophia’s mood had immediately brought on. It was uncommon for Nona to be aggravated by a person and have the feeling abated by them; she usually wound up retreating to some place to play her guitar or hunt down a monster or two. Sophia may not have caught the reaction; she couldn’t stand Nona’s hard-nosed look for more than a moment. But there was a twitch at the corner of the redhead’s mouth that might have been the start of a smile. It didn’t last, but she did let up; her posture relaxed somewhat and her expression lost the sternness.
She was about to reply to Sophia when the elevator opened. Of course, it was none other than Nipal. Nona decided his insufferable energy enabled him to sprint to any corner of the garden to annoy her in seconds flat. Despite Sophia obviously being occupied, he butted in to belt out a word of praise as loudly as he could and grab her from behind. Nona’s irritation instantly returned, but this time it was colored with amusement. She didn’t have much else to do, and a comment instantly leaped to mind as she got a look at him in the his fancy outfit.
”You clean up pretty well, Nipal,” she began, arms still crossed as she addressed the blonde boy. If not for the gleam of utter contempt in her eye, it might’ve been taken as a genuine compliment. ”I guess you can even make a monkey look good if you put him in a SeeD uniform.” Nona might have felt this was uncalled for if he hadn’t interrupted. As it stood, she waited for a reply, almost eager for some sort of retort to liven things up. Even with her imminent promotion, maybe she needed a little conflict to pick her up after the days of recuperation.
((Eesh, short...Someone needs to post, though)

Was it supposed to make her feel better? Perhaps and even put her at ease but she could see through it. However, before Tae could say something or grab her to make her tell her the truth she was rushing off towards her own room. So why was Tae feeling like this? That something was terribly wrong? Turning to her room she opened the door and slowly closed it leaning up against it closing her eyes. She was starting to feel warm as if she was running a temp but again she brushed it aside pushing away from the door and moving into the bathroom. She’d spotted her uniform on the bed. It looked very official. It was something that she was going to have to get used to. Something stirred within her and she clutched her chest. ”Nerves. Get a grip on yourself Tae.” It had never been this bad before though. Reaching the sink she turned on the water and plashed it against her face with cold water. A sigh eased from her lips. She wished she could submerge herself with cold water but didn’t have the time. As that thought floated around in her mind there was a sudden tickle at the back of her throat causing her to go into a cough attack and making her chest burn and ache. It was the red specks that speckled the sink that had drawn her eyes wide. Apparently she wasn’t as fully healed as she had led others to believe. Her eyes gazed up at the mirror. ”What do you expect when coming from a battle and then…” No. She couldn’t think of it, didn’t want to remember those last minutes. The last minute where she felt complete fear right before everything seemed unbearable and then the bridge collapsing. It was a true miracle that they had even survived. Will you protect her? Tae flinched as the memory of the voice, right before all hell broke loose, echoed into her mind. Yes, I will protect her with my very life. And she did but why this feeling that it wasn’t over? That perhaps that event wasn’t the one it was talking about. Tae watched as her face slowly drained of any color it had in the mirror. She couldn’t let thoughts like that take hold. Shaking her head she swore she wouldn’t let the fox, Ellale, and herself down. Washing herself from the blood and the sink as well she moved to put the uniform on and then moved to head out of her dorm. The area was really quiet, almost too quiet. Her eyes moved towards where Ellale’s room was and wondered if the girl had already left to meet her where they were going to meet up. Biting her lower lip she turned away and headed back towards the reflection pool and the elevator that would lead her up towards the third floor. By the time she’d gotten to the elevator it was just reaching the upper floors. So she pushed the button and waited for it to return to her level and take her up. Sure she could have taken the stairs but she didn’t really feel like dragging herself up the stairs all the way to the third floor. As Tae stood there waiting she figured everyone else was already up there and waiting for the head master. To be honest she was more nervous than excited to stand in front of him. Her eyes casted downward before glancing back towards the reflection pool area and a few students who were standing quietly. She recognized one from the mission that hadn’t passed the exam. He was bandaged from his upper dorsal to the top of his head. It was a miracle she even recognized him. So how was it that she managed to be sure it was the person she thought him to be? Was it the way he stood? His eyes? Hair color, or at least the tuffs of hair that stick out of the bandages that were wrapped tight around his head? It didn’t matter how she knew, it wasn’t like the two of them were going to be talking to one another any time soon. Why was that? Well, just then the ding of the elevator sounded it’s arrival and she turned then to step inside once the doors opened for her. ღOOC: oxo Blah. For those of you who still have to make their way up to the third floor feel free to hop on the elevator with Tae! She doesn't bite! ... >.> much. Lol ღ
