"I.. I don't know really. Maybe? Maybe I am being followed. I just..." Jericho started before staring at Calder for a few moments.
"What? Tiamat's s**t don't you start muttering like that too."

Calder's ears went back, and he slowly eased back, letting her hands slip away from his horns. "Jericho, I'm not muttering."
Then, cautious, she continued. ".........Did you hear me muttering?" Voices. Voices were never good unless you were a undead with a talking worm in your head.

Pausing at that, Jericho kind of went rather still for a few there. Slowly, he began to speak again.
"Oh.. that.. wasn't you?" he said before shifting a bit uncomfortably. There was likely no way out of this right now, and that made him feel rather nervous. He really wasn't crazy! He could swear it, "I heard.. something. Maybe it wasn't muttering but it was definitely something."

Calder had a run in with voices before. When he was left in that weaponizing chamber and then in the cage. They always said one thing. Always.
"Are they saying they want to go home?" He asked. His face was serious as Calder's intense eyes looked over at the dragon.

Jericho shrugged.
"I can't tell. It's not clear enough..." he sighed before trying to sit up straight, rubbing his head.
"Maybe I just need some rest. I better head back to my room. It's.. probably just the stress. Yes. Has to be."
If he was going crazy, it'd make him even more worthless as an ally to anyone.

"Yes. You should get some rest. Um....text me sometime on how you're feeling - and if you ever need to talk. I'm not far away after all, and my door is always open." He was worried. Deeply worried for the boil. Jericho was going to make himself sick over all of this, yet he wasn't good enough friends in order to implore him to watch over his health or inquire more deeply with any greater affect. Maybe he could........bring it up to someone who Jericho DID have high respect for just in order to watch over him.
Too bad he didn't have that person's phone number.
"Well, your horns are a tad sharper. We can always pick up where we left off. For now, you should go to your room and lay down a while. Drink some tea." His mother always suggested tea for everything - but that's what you got from a teasmith.

Getting up, Jericho shifted his wings and nodded to Calder. Yes. He just needed some rest. Curl up on his treasure-bed and sleep for the rest of the day. Though, he was wondering if that was really a good idea. Too many conflicting things going on in his head right now.
"Right.. will do. Sorry to freak you out. Just.. not quite myself today. And uh sure. We'll continue some other time."
Just as he finished speaking, he quickly glanced to the side again. As with all the other times, there was nothing around. Stepping back, he nodded to the Kelpie again, then briskly walked to his room.

Calder was left sitting on the couch, a file in one hand and a worried expression as the boil left. This wasn't good, and Jericho probably wasn't going to just bring back to sanity that quickly if he was hearing things. He needed to relax and regain his senses - and he probably wasn't the person to help. You needed your best friend for that.
Calder would need to have a talk with someone, and he wasn't looking forward to it.
