Chromatic jolted to attention when the rocks around her levitated. That's never normal...
Suddenly, it was raining boulders. The nimble Whimsicott sprang out of the way as each one fell, dancing between the falling rocks. Some of the smaller pebbles landed on her, but she only took care to avoid the larger ones that looked like they will hurt.
"Amazing dodging, Chromatic! Absorb more energy!" Ms. Sparkles encouraged.
Chromatic beamed, ecstatic of missing all those rocks, and for the compliment. She repeated her attack.

Arissa frowned. How had the Whimsicott managed to dodge all those rocks? But there was something else she wanted to try, so she repeated the attack anyway. "Kishin, try it again, and this time ride the rocks!"
Her pokemon cocked a head as she considered how best to do that. Then she again summoned the rocks that rose from the ground, but this time she made one of them materialize below her, so as she rose it rose with her. When she flung the rocks forward she almost lost her balance and had to cling to the rock as best she could with her feet and wing-claws. That would not do, it made her look foolish! She tried to make up for it; just before her rock crashed towards Chromatic she leaped off of it, did a flip in the air and landed behind her opponent.

The rocks rose again. There was so many that Chromatic lost track of where her opponent went. She must be here somewhere... No time to look, though, as the rocks came crashing down. She dodged.
Suddenly, she spotted Kishin, leaping off a boulder. She became distracted, and a rock slammed into her, knocking her off balance.
"Ahh--" Chromatic fell on her side. Thankfully, she had extra layers of wool to protect her from harm.
"Are you okay?" That looked like it hurt.
Chromatic got to her feet. "No harm done." She said to her trainer.
"Seems like you're fine! Absorb, then!"
