Mot smiled softly, waiting as Hel drifted to sleep. It was easy enough to tell, as her breathing became more slow and rhythmic. As was normal for Mot, it would be hours before he could sleep. In the meantime he thought about the day, about their predicament. He pondered what he could do, as a student, to help out or prevent harm.
He was left without answers. Only silence and Hel's breathing.
His head rested in the pillow, Hel's head beneath his chin. While her presence so close to himself did cause a small fluttering of moths to return to his stomach, and a slight amount of anxiety, there was an overwhelming part of him that found solace in her presence. He tilted his head down, just watching what he could of Hel's sleeping face from his angle.
He smiled fondly, content to watch her sleep so peacefully.
THIS IS HALLOWEEN
