(((How should I start off?)))
Marth arrived at blackthorn City. He had heard of an explosion and thought that it seemed to be looked into, even if it meant he would have to undermine the authority. First, he would need some supplies, like food and healing supplies for his pokemon so if they were to battle, he would be prepared. He was down the road when he had passed by a couple of trainers, and after they battled, they informed him of the incident. He felt he should do something to help out as best he could, so he went on looking for a small shop to buy the goods.
(((Is that a good start?)))

Zabre wandered through the streets of Canalave, dressed in street clothes with a hoodie pulled up rather than her usual flamboyant tuxedo and mask. There was a special kind of skin adhesive covering her scar and slightly altering her natural features, allowing her to blend in as a passerby and trail Darena unobtrusively. She'd done this ever since the younger woman had set out on her search for Mew, keeping an eye on her so that she didn't end up as a news bulletin in morning reports.
When the foul-tempered woman bumped into her cousin, Zabre dropped a hand to her belt to rest on a Pokeball, tensing for some kind of blow-up. Nothing happened, though Darena went after the rude trainer and lost track of her at the docks. Zabre, an experienced tailer, did not. After seeing her cousin head for a diner, she began to follow that other woman. Something in her gut told her that trainer would be trouble later, and her gut feelings had always served her well while working for the Indigo mafia family. Darena would be safe enough for now, in the middle of the port town. Brutal trainer murders had so far stuck to rural areas, where intervening passerby were few and far between.
The hostile trainer eventually retreated to an inn, and Zabre headed back to where she'd last seen Darena just in time to see her cousin leaving the diner. After seeing her safely to the Pokemon center, where Darena presumably would find a place to crash, Zabre headed for a place she knew well.
The Indigo branch in Canalave wasn't large, but the local capos welcomed the Magician warmly. She was obligated to swap some war stories and shock the new recruits with her scars that hadn't completely softened. Eventually, they let her escape to bed, where she allowed her twin Absols to come out.
"Hey, guys."
They licked at her hands and romped around, glad to be out for a little while. Normally, they would have paced alongside her for the entire day, but two red Absols were kind of a huge attention-getter. Darena would have recognized Yin and Yang instantly, so they'd had to stay in their Pokeballs. She flopped down on the bed, where both Absols immediately leaped onto and snuggled against her on each side. Zabre knew they would guard her, and soon fell asleep. ღ⊹⊹⊹⊹⊹⊹⊹ღxxx

As Tyranitar charged forward towards Roserade, Fluerette stared at it with agonizing focus, almost pretending to will the Magical Leaf into a direct hit. The razor-like leaves actually did hit the ground Pokemon, but it hardly seemed to bother it, much less stop his charge. So fast! Fluerette thought. The Magical Leaf seemed to barely harm it!Then, only when it seemed too late did Fluerette realize what Tyranitar was aiming to do. Tyranitar leaped into the air, seeming to glide into it despite its massive bulk, as high as Roserade was jumping. Roserade seemed to realize the exact same moment Fluerette did. As Fluerette called, "Roserade, dodge it! Now!" Roserade was already tucking in its cape, which helped it to float in the air as long as it did. It started falling already, but in time to dodge the Body Slam completely. Roserade was hit, spiraling down to the ground for a few moments before righting itself at the last moment. It fell to the ground on its back. "Roserade!" Fluerette cried. She took a step forward, but Roserade halted her with a determined look. Fluerette nodded, then looked to Tyranitar who had landed when Roserade did and waited for another attack. It would get another attack. Once Roserade got back on its feet, Fluerette gave it another moment to rest, then shouted, "Okay, go! Roserade, use Giga Drain!"Roserade closed its eyes for a moment, turning a bright glowing green. Then, it shot its arm out, aimed at Tyranitar. Tyranitar grew green as well, but the green left it in huge glowing spheres and drew towards Roserade's hands, sucking out Tyranitar's energy and transferring it to Roserade. As more spheres were drawn into Roserade's hand, some of the scratches on its body disappeared, and Roserade stood with a more confident stance, mostly healed and ready to fight once more. [ooc: Didn't really know what a Giga Drain looked like. ^.^ I hope I was somewhat accurate.]

Andrew had been watching the fight intensely, looking at Fleurette's strategy. He was not displeased at all in the way she examined what was going on. For the majority of the fight, he wasn't watching the two who were participating, but rather the girl's eyes; her body language, and even the way she interacted with her Roserade. When he saw Tyranitar go down to one knee after the Giga Drain, he stopped watching Fleurette. "Stop the fight, Fleurette. I've seen all I need, you can come with me to Eterna. You are very skilled, and I would love to hear your story on the way there." He waited for Fleurette to stop her Roserade and then recalled Tyranitar and started walking toward Floaroma.

Marth walked to the pokemon center to heal his pokemon because they needed it, mostly because he had fought a couple of trainers before reaching the city, He loved his pokemon a lot, and he didn't want o see them killed; however, he knew that it was worth the risk to stop the dreaded government because if they were not stopped, his pokemon might be forced to become fused with a stranger's DNA, and he would not let that happen. His pokemon and he have experienced too many losses to quit.
He entered the center and casually walked to the counter, requesting that the nurse treat his pokemon who happily took them. He waited patiently for her to be finished, and then left after telling her thank-you and went back to see if the shop had some rope, and healing items.

As the last of the glowing green spheres disappeared into Roserade's bouquet, Fluerette watched with hopeful satisfaction as Tyranitar went down on one knee, energy drained. Finally, they did some damage. Fluerette felt like they were fighting a brick wall. Hope renewed, both Fluerette and Roserade stood with a more confident stance, readying themselves for whatever their opponent might throw at them next. Before Tyranitar could do anything, however, Andrew interrupted, calling off the battle. "Stop the fight, Fleurette. I've seen all I need, you can come with me to Eterna. You are very skilled, and I would love to hear your story on the way there."It took a moment for his words to register in Fluerette's mind. When it finally did, a wave of joy overcame her and she squealed and clapped like a little child. She ran to Roserade and swooped it up in her arms, shaking it wildly in a hug. Roserade, not necessarily enjoying the hug, patiently waiting for its master to put it down, keeping its poisonous thorns away from Fluerette in the meantime. Fluerette turned to Andrew, who had started walking back to Floaroma town, and gave him a big smile. "Thank you, Mister Daly! I won't drag you down, promise!" She started to happily follow him, then froze, his last sentence echoing in her mind. "I would love to hear your story on the way there."Crap. He couldn't find out about her past. He wouldn't. If he casts her away, because of her history.... Fluerette shook her head. No, she wouldn't tell him. If he brought it up, she would change the subject. Satisfied with that plan, she continued to follow him. Roserade looked at her with a concerned look, but knew that its master would take care of the problem, whatever it was, and trailed behind its master. Fluerette caught up to Andrew, walking by his side. Already, she was full of questions. "So, when shall we leave, Mister Daly? This evening, tomorrow? We'd need to get supplies first... have you restocked on your supplies? It won't do if you run out... and are all your Pokemon healed? Your Crobat would need to be healed, and Tyranitar and my Roserade too, wouldn't they?" Then, realizing how annoying she must have sounded, she stopped and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry. I guess I'm a bit excited."

"Whoa! First off, if you're going to call me anything but Andrew, please call me A.D. People who call me mister make me feel ancient," he said as he walked into Floaroma Town. Andrew walked into the Pokécenter and let Nurse Joy heal his Pokémon and then left, not bothering to pick up any supplies. He sat down outside the Pokécenter and waited for Fleurette. After she finished in the Pokécenter, Andrew stood up and stretched. "You asked when we leave. You seem to be in a hurry, so how about we leave now?" He started walking north on Route 205, figuring that Fleurette would catch up to him.

Marth entered the shop and looked around for the items he wanted and found them. He added up the total cost and counted his money, finding he didn't have enough for all of them. He moved out of the way for the other customers who might browse and began to think of what he needed more.
He opened his backpack and looked through its contents finding a magazine, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, conditioner, Burn heal, Ice heal, a bag of coal, and some rope. He decided that he would put back the rope and buy the healing items and closed his backpack that he brought with him from New Bark Town, walked to the end of the line and waited for his turn. He was listening to the background noises as he waited, catching a few words every now and then, and then, it was his turn. He put the items onto the counter and paid the asking price and placed the purchased items into the pack and left.
He then headed into the gym to speak with Claire, the dragon user. He didn't want to go back to visit her because she was mean when he won against her, still, he wanted to know what happened at the mountain and why did it explode. He thought perhaps it was the work of those who wanted to mess the pokemon and human DNA.

((Sorry about not posting...)) Claire had been training in the mountains above Kanto for the last week, which is why she hadn't received Andrew's message until this morning. She had hurried back as soon as she heard it, and she went to the mountain to the south of Blackthorn to investigate for herself. Marth, another trainer who had bested her, had come back. She went to him to find out what he wanted.

Marth did not find Claire in the gym, so he exited in search of her. He thought perhaps she was at the site trying to figure out what caused the mountain to explode. He did not know, but he was about to find out.
He noticed Claire walking so he ran up to her, his cape trailing behind him, not worried about how she felt about him. That was in the past and they had more important matters on hand. "Claire, do you know what happened up at the mountain? I heard that there was an explosion, so I wanted to see if you knew what or who caused it," his said with authority. He was hoping she had answers to give other than she didn't know since this could lead help him to take down the organization.

Claire listened to the boy as he explained what he wanted, and, as she expected, he wanted to help investigate. She pulled out her phone and dialed up the voice mail so he could listen to Andrew's message, then held out the phone to him. "Listen to this, it will explain everything." "Claire, this is Andrew. Earlier this morning, a Team Galactic squad of grunts set off explosives in the mountain south of Blackthorn. I routed them out, but they said something about the Orre government experiments, fossils, legendary Pokémon, and Deoxys. I'm leaving for Eterna to investigate what the real meaning of this is. If Team Galactic is finding fossils for these experiments, it could be bad. It might mean they're in the advanced stages of their tests, already. I'll be gone by the time you get back." After she had gotten the phone back from Marth, she put it away and looked at him. "If you still want to go, I can't stop you. I will not be joining you because I have to examine the true extent of what Team Galactic was doing here."

Back in Sinnoh for the first time in 3 years, a young man sits in the Pokemon Center of a place called Floaroma town, and sitting with him are all of his Pokemon partners. He happened to be sitting in the lap of a Dragonite, who was seated on the floor. To either side of him were an Absol and a Lucario. In front of him sat a Lilligant, a Blaziken, and a Gardevoir. He looked up at the Dragonite, then around at the others, then gave a warm smile. "Well, girls, we sure got our work cut out for us, don't we? Honestly, though, even if the Reshiram Resistance hadn't hired us, I probably would've done this, anyway." He wrapped his arms around the Lucario and Absol. "So, y'all think we can pull this off?" His words were met with a simultaneous call from all 6 of them, which caused him to laugh heartily. "Alright, then! We gotta stay here a little longer, though. I heard an old friend of mine showed up around here. He might be of help to us."

While in the Pokémon Center, Andrew thought he had seen an old rival of his, one he had fought a few times here and again. The boy was good enough for A.D. to consider him a rival, which should say something about him and his character. He walked slowly toward route 205 to see if the kid would follow and when he did, A.D. turned around and sent out his Weavile. "Go on, girl; go say hi to Xavier." Weavile ran down the route as fast as she could, then jumped into the air toward Xavier. The girl landed in front of him, leapt to the side and climbed up his leg and back up to his shoulder, then waved. "Hey! You following me?" Andrew asked with a smirk before walking back down the route to meet up with Xavier.

Xavier was surprised to see a Weavile come up to him and climb on him, then he heard the familiar voice. "Well, I'll be a Monferno's uncle! It's been a while, Andy! What're you doin' out here?" He got to his feet and approached the man he had considered a friend and rival since his time in Hoenn. He then extended a friendly gloved hand. "I ain't seen you since that brief little stint in Unova. How ya been?" He then looked to the Weavile. "Guess this little one ain't changed, except it's evolved. I remember battling it as a Sneasel. Can't seem to remember how that particular battle turned out, though..." He then gave a hearty laugh at his lack of memory.

As he caught up to the man, he shook the man's hand and the Weavile ran across their arms onto A.D.'s shoulder. "Well, I'll tell you, it was a damn close fight, my friend. When a Blaziken and a well-trained Sneasel fight, it's nothing to laught at. Fortunately for you, you happened to win that little tiff." The Weavile stuck her tongue out at Xavier at the memory of such a momentous battle. "I was on my way back to Unova when Blackthorn was attacked by Team Galactic." He knew that this would strike a chord with the Blackthornite in front of him. "They were digging around for fossils for those experiments in the mountain just south of there. That's why I'm here right now, Fleurette and I are going to Eterna to investigate. You up for that? Can always use some backup. The girl is rough, but skilled; I think being around some elders would definitely help her out."
