Aaaand cue more singing. Tedan just stared at Jerry at this point, wondering if maybe one of the hits from the Yeti rattled his brains or something. I mean, if he DID actually expect them to sing along, how were they supposed to know these lyrics if he was making them up just now? Erm.
He wasn't sure if he should try to stop the madness or not...

"Yes sir," Petra replied to Marcus, still sounding a little frustrated, but definitely tired. It wasn't just that the FEAR shield was down -- now that the adrenaline was wearing down, she was feeling the ache of jumping into the fray as they had. Her limbs were sore, most of it from swinging Cain's weight around, but the bruises which had started to form along her shoulders and down her arms certainly didn't help.
The entire Sun division, it seemed, was showing up now. The moon trainee looked genuinely pleased as Jordan appeared to help, finally taking down the monster. From where she was leaning against the wall, the pale-haired girl forced herself to move, not yet desummoning her mace, just in case, and crossed the room to where the others had gathered. "Boss," she greeted Jordan with an amiable tone, giving him a weary look, "Unhurt, for the most part. But it was close." She looked over at Marcus as he offered them his thanks, nodding an agreement. To both the thanks and the plan, really.
The word 'moony' coming from Jerry's direction, however, had Petra's expression falling a little flat again, and she lifted her mace in a mock-threatening motion, pointing it at him. "Don't make me take that away from you."

"Yeah. Uh. Good." Harrison echoed Jordan awkwardly.
"Hey," Harrison said in mock-offense at Jerry's lyric addition, "it's the other way around. All this offensive s**t is your guys' job." He grinned, "We were just picking up the slack."
To Marcus he said,
"Life labs is okay with me. My shield is pretty low."

Dakota had never been more relieved to see the brotherhood of sun hunters. Without them, poor moon division would be like micheal Jackson and taking their final moon walk, exit stage: death.
"s**t, thanks a lot guys." Dakota saluted them before heading over to Marcus, making sure he was alright as well. "Jesus boss, what was with the last crazy move, trying to get yourself killed?" He sighed as he looked at the damage.
Nope....they were Hella lucky sun came when they did.
"Did you guys have to deal with something like this too?" Dakota oddly didn't feel the effects of the fog now that the monster has disappeared but....his thoughts focused on what Harrison said before. They had fought something similar before?
"Can someone elaborate on the dragon woman you fought before? I'm a little too new and would like to know what I am fighting for once."

"Oh, uh, that last one didn't work?" It seemed only Harrison's assessment of the song would deter him, although Jerry did hesitate as Petra's weapon wobbled dangerously.
He pouted, hugging his guitar to his chest, as he backed away a step or two towards where Roar lay irritably in the open case amongst the rubble, "It was my Christmas Present, you wouldn't. Hmmm..."
Strumma strumma, he tried again, flushing a hair as he glanced back at her,
"But when the two eclipse,
it's as good as any kiss,
A power team of sky lights
Overtaking all the fiiiiiights-!
WATCH OUT! HERE THEY COME!
WATCH OUT! MOON AND SUN!"
Yeeeaah productivity!

"Thanks for helping us, its nice to see you guys are okay as well." He smiled towards the sun hunters present, before catching the look from Marcus.
"I think... Locke is charged enough to attempt a heal, but..." He looked between Petra and Marcus. Both of them had taken on enough damage that their Fear shields were down and needed healing. Problem was, he could only heal one of them and that was even if he was successful to begin with.
"Which should I...?" He stopped and shook his head. The labs were definitely sounding like a better plan to him right now. It was better than staying here and remaining vulnerable. Not to mention, like Marcus said, they could get patched up there and then maybe he could try and heal.

"There's not much to tell," Petra replied to Dakota, sobering a bit again, "One of the Hunters turned out to be a spy. But the weapon didn't mesh well with her, since she herself was made of FEAR -- she ended up turning into a monster. We had to take her out." It wasn't one of those things that seemed to be talked about much. Even after the fact, Petra couldn't recall being briefed on it -- perhaps she had missed it. Even now, no one really seemed to want to address it, even she hadn't wanted to bring up the possibility that it had happened again, and that the monster had been one of their own. Shifting a little, she slid a lock of white hair behind her ear. "I don't fully understand it," she added, implying the information might be faulty.
To Ryan, Petra reached up to rest a hand on his shoulder, letting it rest reassuringly there for a few moments before letting it fall. "Tend to Marcus -- until the other Hunters return, he's in charge of the Moon division."
Once again, Jerry's singing caught her attention, lightening the mood. The dark expression faded as he sang, his pout coaxing a small smile from her, watching as he clutched his guitar and backed away. She wouldn't really take it away from him, and she was pretty sure he knew that, at least somewhere in his heart. She did, however, turn towards him fully as he began to sing again, quirking an eyebrow at him as he glanced at her, cocking her head and trying not to smile a little broader.
"Not bad."

Jerry beamed, still looking like he was burning off his coffee and bourbon breakfast as he glanced to Dakota almost too casually tapping his burn-marred cheek and neck, "It was really quite awful, I got these then." He seemed happy to return to his guitar, playing out a few notes... yeah, a little musical interlude here would be fun, between those verses... but he really aught to save that for later. He turned the guitar to hang from it's strap from his back, lifting Roar and the case to stash it behind one of the couches that had survived the battle.
He glanced to Petra again, still smiling distantly as he drank in the bisyllabic compliment. "I ah... Roar and I still have some fight left in us, I can go see if anyone else is having er... similar trouble and meet you all at the labs?"

Dakota looked over Petra, listening to her speak of what happened before looking down to his weapon. Good thing: He wasn't made of FEAR, He didn't bleed smoke but blood. Even better thing: He wasn't anywhere close to wanting to combine with Chama like that. Weird though that someone had been skilled enough to sneak into Island. With all the guards and technology around here, he found it hard that someone just casually disguised themselves to get in.
Then again, he had heard of crazier s**t.
"Got it. Thanks." He nodded to Petra. What was odd for the boy, had anyone been close to him, was no perverted or flirty remarks from the Moon Hunter. He walked over to Ryan before nodding. "It's up to you Bro, I'd hate to Leave one other Moon hunter out for the count," His head inclined to Petra before looking back at Marcus, "But that's our boss over there, and he's no good to us if he can't fight. Especially considering our team. Moon hunters are after all, Defense and Healing." He grinned before looking over at Jerry. "The only thing we can hope for is another healer. Perhaps Ceres or Eva can help us?" He didn't think to text his two favorite ladies after all, He flipped open his cell phone texting the moon huntress.
Lilwolfpard Ceres! Just making sure your safe Pretty lady, Moon hunters are in desperate need of healing if you can make it to the Life Labs!
Phone flipped down before sighing. Jerry's song though was immediately cheering him up, mostly because of just how ridiculous it was.
"Dude. I don't know how much higher my respect can go for you, First a giant a** bazooka and now Ad libbed Guitar songs?" Dakota might have to consider joining sun, though, he couldn't leave Moon if he tried. Chama and himself after all, we're better in the Moon division.
"So we're headed to the Life Labs?" He retetirated to make sure that was the general idea. "Is there anyone else from your division that you guys need to get too?" Dakota cocked his head at the Sun Hunter Brotherhood, Funny, He would always look at the those four as the Sun hunter Brotherhood. Name stuck and stamped on.

"Those things hit hard. I'm not sure how much more I can take myself," Jordan admitted. "Heading for the labs sounds like a good idea." He looked to Jerry again, not quite able to repress a smile at the increasingly ridiculous song. "If you're splitting off, don't go alone," he said. He might currently be lower ranked, but the caution was more reflex than anything. "If you run into another one alone, it could hurt you pretty badly."
Marcus seemed to be in charge of the Moon group; Jordan looked to him next. "Any thoughts?" he asked. "Who's in best shape here?" A glance around the room, checking faces he knew and others he didn't. Petra got a nod and a small, warm smile.
To Dakota's question, he added, "The division leads have put checks in place to make sure something like that doesn't happen again." The idea made Jordan feel a faint chill, recalling fire and ice and the shock of betrayal by a woman they'd thought they could trust. He shook his head slightly, banishing the memories. Not a good time to let himself get distracted.
... by anything. There'd be time to sort out possible misunderstandings later. For now, time to stay focused and keep safe.

Bix could feel his own FEAR shield was low but in his mind Mina was affirming just how fine she was. She seemed a little proud that Bix & Jerry's merry minstrel band were leaping to the rescue. "Your monster seemed a little stronger than ours. Heartier I guess. Glad to help though. But I am feeling antsy waiting around." He basically directed this at Marcus. Not on purpose but the other man was the one he knew the best, much to his chagrin. He couldn't help pick up few bits of conversation from the others he didn't know well, namely Petra and Ryan. "If you guys don't feel up to the trip, maybe you should stay? One hit and you'll be down... or worse." Without their shield they may not wake up. He did turn to Ryan though. "You can heal? I think you should do it. Before anyone goes anywhere." Now that the dorms were quiet, besides the obvious bazooka blast that went off in the hall, he rested his bow on his shoulder. "Let's move."

Petra's eyes took on a sympathetic hint to them as she watched Jerry touch his scars, seeming a little pained that he had gotten injured as he had. During that mission, he'd displayed a heroism that had been unrivaled by most of the trainees she had ever met. While she hadn't seen it herself, far too distracted with the battle against the creature that had been one of their hunters (or rather, had pretended to be,) she had heard later that he'd knocked Candace out of the way, covering her with his body to save her from the flames. And while she wasn't sure if that was how he got his scars, it was a reminder to her of the bravery he was capable of. Looking at him now, she covered up the sympathy quickly, nodding instead in agreement to his plan -- the moon hunter didn't want her friend to think she pitied him.
"Go ahead. I'll meet you when I can," she replied, glancing over at Jordan with an added agreement, "Jordan's right though, don't go alone. And if you need us, send us a text via the phones."
It seemed everyone was in agreement with the plan, everyone starting to get ready to move, whether to go attack more of the creatures or to head towards the Life labs. She gave a dismissive wave of the hand and a nod towards Dakota, indicating it was no problem before glancing over at Bix, her expression souring just a little, although not towards him. "I'll go with the team headed towards the Life labs -- staying here will do us no good, and if we get caught by another one of those things by ourselves, we'll be as good as dead. If we can find some bandages, I think we'll be alright."

Bix somehow could tell that Petra's look wasn't aimed at him but he was distracted when the phone on his hip lit up. There was another buzz as he saw Marcus's go off too. That only meant one thing: Message from Cass. He opened up his phone. "Seems like the Misties are fine. That was Cass. She's offering help. I'm going to tell her we are headed for the Life labs." demon_pachabel Sun & Moon r fine. Couple people beat up. OMW to Life labs.. hoping to snag some healz and see how they r doin. Follow sound of Jerr singin The phone went off shortly afterwards with her response. "Mist is headed to Life labs too. Sounds like a plan on every front." He gave them all a thumbs up. Jerry's new set of verses were...well, they were something.
"Yeah, alright, that one's...better, I guess." B0nez was glowing, impatient to get moving and find something to unload on.
"Unless Death needs help, that's everybody. You might as well head over to Life with us, Jerry."
Harrison looked over the trashed room, and unsalvagable coffee maker, then stalked Labward.

Bix was glad to follow after now that someone had taken the first step. This meant their brief breather was over.
"Hopefully we won't meet anything on the way there." Bix shifted Mina back into the proper grip and followed Harrison.
