Zar went about as red as it was physically possible for him to go - which was a very light pink about his cheeks. And then he went right back into his stuttery anxious mode. "We..well. I'm sure there are p..probably rules against that sort of..smut within school walls. Students probably get quite enough of that nonsense laying around at home." Not everyone had Zar's mother though, he wasn't quite aware of this fact. "They wouldn't allow it in a place of learning."
He cleared his throat. "Besides, even the library is lacking in its selection of romance literature. If they don't have romance, then I very much doubt they'd smile on anything more..severe than that."

"Oh. I'm probably going to be in biiiig trouble soon then." He looked forlorn but broke it with a mirthful chortle.
"Oh well. I'm sure they'd be very impressed by my ghouls gone wild collection." Spoken though with a straight face while still peeering over at Zar from the edge of the bed.

Zar could only stare at Nuru, hardly believing they were even having this conversation, acting as if they were discussing some seriously illegal activity and it was possible that the room was bugged.
"Ghouls gone.." he stated, rubbing his temples with his hand. "I think my mother was probably in that at some point." he frowned. "She liked to share the details of her little hobbies." he wished he could just curl up in a ball and vanish, really not someone who dealt with embarassing conversation in any sort of mature way.
"So I'm sure you'll understand why I steer more than clear of that sort of thing. No ghoul magazines, never."

"Really?!" He asked looking more intrigued than anything else.
"I thought you looked familiar! Was she in issue number 66?" His every demeanor was perked up with interest at this. Tail back to swishing obnoxiously across the floor.

Zar just maintained his incredulous look at Nuru. "I don't really keep track of her appearances you know. Especially not ISSUE NUMBERS." he clenched his hands into fists as he irritably looked away. It really didn't help that he suspected Nuru was probably right, he looked a great deal like her, much to his annoyance, even inheriting her hooves and tail where his father was much better off with actual feet.
"I sincerely hope she's not famous to any degree."

Zar fell quiet for a few looooooooong moments, before covering his face with his palm. "I wish I could unhear that statement, really. Reaaaally. And no, I certainly don't want to go back to the ghost dorms to SEE. She's my MUM. And she's insufferable enough as it is. I've tried everything. Every year I send her a sensible outfit as a gift, and every year she ruins it by wearing it all wrong."
He spread his fingers enough to give Nuru a nonplussed look. "I can only hope its not her and you are just having me on."

"Got a picture of her here for comparison?" He smiled softly giving Zar a calm dopey dog stare. He really realllly hoped Zar had one and was willing to show it.

Zar frowned deeply, almost subconciously shooting a glance at the picture of her and his father on his workdesk, half tempted to make a flying leap for it and attempt to keep it away from Nuru but concerned that would..probably draw more attention than it deterred.

Still staaaaring at Zar noted the fact he turned his gaze elsewhere. He perked his ears slightly before turning to try and follow the path of his gaze for himself. Reaching the workdesk he inspected around beneath it before hopping up placing his claws on the edge of Zars desk and craning his neck to see.

Zar sighed irritably. "Don't scratch my desk! " he crossed his arms standoffishly, his tail flicking behind him. "Its likely not even her."

Seeing the photo Nuru griiiined from ear to ear flashing a biiit too much tooth.
"Oh. It is. I'd recognize that cleavage anywhere." Nuru said before panting at her photo excessively in order to tease Zar.
