Mitzi was relieved when the puffball disappeared, but it didn't last long. When Yin failed to get up, she quickly followed the zomboil over to him, and helped him finish rolling the weremantis over. Then she grabbed one of his arms and braced herself, to give the boil as much leverage as possible for getting to his feet. "C'mon, Yin, let's get you up. We're almost there, the nurse can look at you and we'll all warm up with a nice cup of hot spyder psyder."
She hadn't realized how cold the weremantis had gotten until she was trying to get him to his feet. And the cold seemed to be affecting him a lot more than it was her... And she wasn't sure Alexander was going to be able to walk, either. This whole situation seemed to just keep getting worse.

Jackdammit, where had that boil gone?! Danny was sure that Roch had headed in this direction, but at some point she had lost him. She knew he was looking for Taryn, but in between her having to go SUPER SLOW in the jackdamn snow and him shadowstepping across Amityville, they had gotten separated somewhere in the snowstorm.
Danny squinted through the snowflakes. She was okay out here in the snow for now (relatively cold and complaining, but not as bad as say, a reaper, zombie and weremantis), but she probably needed to get in soon. After all, it would only take a few drops of the melted snow stuff for her tail to go out, and then she was really screwed.
A few figures loomed in the distance. Wait a second ... she knew one of those! Why was he laying down like that? "YINNNNNNNNN~" her voice called out across the tundra as she started running.
When she got closer, she realized he wasn't laying down, he was forced onto the ground by some sort of weariness. Dude wasn't even moving. She suddenly flashbacked to Rikki laying lifeless on the floor of her brother's restaurant. Oh Jack no. She glanced at the two figures with him. A ghoul who's fashion sense Danny appreciated immensely, and a zombie boil who looked pretty worse for wear too. "Hi. Name's Danny," she said absently. She was already pulling Yin's arms around her neck via her backside. This was no big deal. She'd already lifted Rikki before, and Yin was definitely lighter than him.

The weremantis could feel himself being moved, and could hear the others as they talked, but was having the horrible realization that he could do absolutely nothing about it. Even knowing that a ghoul was touching him could barely get his energized enough to do anything about it other than a mumble something feebly. He tried to force his legs to work, but the cold had gone straight through his thin pants and laying in the snow was pretty much causing his body to try to conserve all of its remaining energy to simply keep warm.
Then a pair of actual warm hands were touching him, pulling him forward. He blinked, trying to figure out what was happening. "Miss Danny?" he mumbled, confused. Great. Now he was hallucinating. With that he slumped forward, deciding that if he was going to hallucinate he may as well focus on the fact that he felt marginally warmer like this.

Oh Jack, this was so bad! The weremantis was barely responding at all to either Alexander or Mitzi as they desperately tried to get him to his feet so they could continue moving. Alex looked up at Mitzi helplessly. What were they going to do?
And then, through the falling snow, he caught a glimpse figure moving towards them. Oh no! Was it another strange attacker come to kick them while they were down?
But no, it appeared to be another student! And she knew Yin! That was most excellent~ Alexander closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief as he heard the demon ghouls foot steps crunching in the snow towards them.
When he opened his eyes again, he could see that she had joined them completely, and was already in action trying to haul the weremantis up onto her back.
"Th-thankyou. Danny..." He pushed himself to his feet, shambling towards her to help hoist Yin up onto her back.
And then he saw a flicker of light, one that was all too familiar to the boil.
"F-F-FIRE!!" He shouted as he recoiled backwards away from the demon and her tail. It didn't matter to him if the flame was safely covered behind a lantern ((Sorry, I'm assuming it is XD )), the sight of it put Alex completely on edge, and his eyes were wide and hysterical. Even as he backed away, he was beginning to feel a bit faint, as his memories flashed to his last encounter with fire, back in the weeping forest with those red cloaked figures. His ears were ringing, his head was pounding..
and then he collapsed face first in the snow, out cold.

Just as Mitzi was getting really, really worried, another student came up. The reaper practically sighed in relief, especially when the new ghoul seemed to already know Yin. "Thank Hecate, we could really use some help. I was helping the two boils to the infirmary when we were jumped by these weird things that looked like minipets. We managed to get rid of them, but now Yin won't move. Could you..." And by then Danny already had the monster partway onto her back. Mitzi stopped, a little surprised at how easily the demon had picked the boil up. She reached over to help adjust the weremantis so both he and Danny would be more comfortable. "I'm Mitzi, by the way. Do you think you can carry him the rest of the way? I was helping Alexander, both of them were pretty woozy even before the creatures showed up."And then Xander freaked out about the fire. They tiny little bit of fire, small enough Mitzi hadn't even noticed it before. Not that it was surprising that there was fire, Danny was pretty clearly a fire demon. What was wrong with the zomboil? she wondered as she turned to find him absolutely panicking. "Alexander, what's wrong? We're safe, Danny is helping us, we'll be to the infirmary in no time!" She stepped towards him, but not quickly enough, as he faceplanted in the snow before she could catch him. "Alexander!" Jack it all, what now? She glanced back at Danny, and realized there was only one option - as gross as it was, she'd have to carry the zomboil. "Could you help me pick him up? And do you know the way to the infirmary? Alexander was the one leading the way."

Daww. Yin was kind of adorable all mumbling about princesses and Rabos. Maybe Eva had turned out to be a Rabo princess? Danny had always kind of assumed that Tony was the prince of the Rabos. Maybe they could get married! Wait this was getting off topic, wasn't it... The boil was quickly becoming a younger brother figure of sorts to Danny. Though, in terms of personality, it was probably Danny who was the younger sibling. Either way, Danny felt bad for him.
There was a more distracting obstacle to her left anyways. This ghoul, who decided she was going to talk and talk and talk and talk and-
Danny's head was spinning. So much information to take in! Her tail idly starting wrapping around her leg, leaving the lantern to bang against her thigh. Sure it would hurt a bit, but she didn't want to freak Yin out when he decided to come to.
In the motion, she apparently scared this "Alexander." After a year of having similar encounters with undeads (Amrita, Merope, Mortimer... everyone?) Danny was quite used to the routine. "S'okaaaay buddy. I won't hurtcha," she said for effect, though he seemed quite knocked out.
She stood up with Yin fully adjusted on her back thanks to the Mitzi ghoul, and looked at her funny. "I ... can't help you pick him up, cause I have Yin. Oh gosh can you not see Yin?" She bit her lip for a moment. "Yeah I know where the infirmary is. Let's go."

Mitzi had just knelt beside the zomboil to try to figure out how to pick him up... when the demon just left without her.
Wut.
Wut.
WUT.
She was on her knees, in the snow, in next to nothing, with a reasonably heavy looking boil unconscious next to her, and the one person who could help her get to the infirmary from here not only had refused to help her lift him, but had taken off without her.
She watched in shock just long enough to see which way Danny had gone, then turned back to Alexander. When she grabbed his arm, it squished unpleasantly in her grip, and she paused for a moment to consider the best way to lift him. And came to no useful conclusions. So with a grimace, she did her best to hoist the zomboil up. A few minutes of trying to lift him in different ways eventually resulted in him draped over one of her shoulders at a precarious angle, with her leaning a little sideways to keep him from falling. With a huff, she started off after the demon, who at least had left a nice trail of melted snow to show her path.
((Mitzi and Xander exiting to Infirmary.))
