Eunomia's observations of the battlefield seemed to fade in and out of her focus. Cherie's rage was noted, and suddenly she was trying to adjust her vision to see just what was poking out of Irene. Needles? Quills?
Images swirled and faded and blurred and came back into view, though little was comprehended. She suddenly felt so woozy and weak, which did nothing to help the entertained notions of destruction and death in her head.
She clasped a hand over one of the slashes in her shoulder from Jagder's claws and pulled it away sticky with congealing red liquid that made her head spin even further into lightheadedness, and then straight into a strange sense of apathy that came from her senses being dulled in an out of awareness.
She only got a grip again, just in time to barely realize Jagder was charging towards her... again. She wasn't expecting to come out of their second round in much of one piece, but she managed to fight the numbness just enough to get to her feet and met the charge with her own, weak as it was. She would not submit quietly, inevitability be damned.
But somehow the collision itself felt less triumphant.

Being a senshi was many things, but none more than an extended study in fear. Irene had never been the type to cower in the corner, but most of the things she had faced in her life were things she could muster up strength and attack head-on. She'd faced down angry relatives, Greek school, dance mothers and lackluster grades. All the while, she had known that life had things that were far more frightening that she had been lucky not to encounter.
The things she encountered as Irene far outweighed anything she'd read about online. Her sense of self-preservation was getting a daily workout, and it was still woefully underdeveloped. All she could do was cower and watch as Needla came towards her. Irene shut her eyes and put her hands over her head, as if that would help.
Several seconds passed without further pain. Slowly Irene opened her eyes again, and she let out another shriek. "Victoria!" Her interaction with the latest addition to the team had been limited to ********* introduction, but that hadn't stopped him from coming to her aid. It was only right for her to return the favor. Getting to her feet again took several seconds, and even when she was upright she swayed, her left ankle not able to take her weight for longer than a couple of seconds at a time.
The smart move would have been to run, or at least retreat in some way. But retreat was not in Irene's vocabulary. Instead, she shuffled towards Needla, aiming her left elbow at the monster. It was a pitiful attempt at a charge, but she'd rather do that than be thought of as useless.

Desukyun Every time he tried to wriggle or fight his way away from the feminine creature, it did nothing but get him more wrapped up in what could easily be described as horrible, sticky tentacles. It was now tightly wound around his limbs which had him comically spinning around in it’s loose coils like it was a lost episode of Looney Tunes. It should have been funny if the rest of the team wasn’t trying their hardest not to die. Instead it was a struggle against futility as Parthenope got more and more tangled in the substance he was normally at home in. “Someone hel-“ Before the words could even form; he felt an odd constriction about his chest. He choked on the rest of his sentence. The breaths he could get in grew smaller and smaller until he was just gasping and hoping that just the memory of breathing would fill his lungs up again properly. His effort went unrewarded as the youma took advantage of this very situation. The panic ensued from lack of breath making it so much easier to totally encompass the senshi, constricting around him like a tar soaked boa constrictor. This couldn’t be happening. They were 8 people against 8 youma. They should have had this under control. He frantically scanned the area for anyone or anything that could help him as he got pulled into the drippy form of Terra Firma. All around him, everyone seemed to be having their own problems, almost completely forgetting each other exist for a short period of time. Just enough time for them to be so broken apart. Kailey Koreco Well she hadn't gotten her target of the crystal ball, but Metis wasn't going to say she wasn't pleased by Fortuna's response to getting punched. A small smug smile flitted briefly across her face before she started to slowly circle the youma. And hopefully find another opening. The fact Fortuna's hands started to move over the crystal again didn't escape her, another note to how odd these youma were compared to others she'd faced.
Her movement at least gave her a small chance to glance around the rest of the battle, biting her lip at what she could see of it. No one was doing very well in this fight, but... how was that possible? It was an even match, number wise. How were the youma this strong? Metis glanced back at Fortuna with a growing scowl. This wasn't right. The youma should be far easier to take down, or at the very least they all shouldn't be this scattered! Eunomia was charging at one youma, Iris was fighting with another, Irene and Victoria at least were going against the spiky one... Not quite sure what she was doing, she took another swing at the youma before her. Maybe if she could at least knock her off balance again, she could go try to help one of the others... maybe? Hopefully? Oh this wasn't good.

It was complete chaos. There was screaming and cussing filling the air. Various members of the team were bleeding quite a bit. Others were easily forming bruises from all of the abuse they had taken in such a short while. Pretty much everyone was feeling how miserable this situation really was. The youma minotaur easily seemed to break out of Iris' Rainbow Ribbon. All it had to do was buck its large head and it seemed to cut through the magic, completely unaffected. However, before the stubborn bull could focus in on finding another victim, something seemed to grab all of their attention (youma and senshi alike).
********* was not at 100% at the moment. She had mostly staggered her way away from the group, feeling a bit drained of energy due to that shot at the minotaur youma. And when she was about 30 feet away from the general group, she once more shot up from the ground until she was once more that cat-earred girl. The injury on her back was still there, back to the size it had been to start off with, but the bleeding had slowed down a bit. The Mauvian's cheeks were not as rosy as usual, probably having something to do with the combination of using up energy on a youma and a loss of blood.
Despite the faint woozy feeling which caused her body to sway slightly in her new spot, ********* called out in a seemingly playful manner "Why deal with the senshi when you have a feast right here?!"
The youma easily took the bait. The senshi they had been toying with were soon enough abandoned. Every senshi was probably grateful for the reprieve as they were released and the youma began to make their way towards the new source of energy further away.
Once the youma had started moving, ********* smiled. "Why did it have to be the baseball field?" It was a cleared out area, with a lack of trees. She could have bought herself some more time with trees getting in the way. However, making do with what she had, she began to run, her bare feet crunching against the partially frozen grass. It was now all a foot race.
The eternal senshi on the team heaved out a huge sigh as things seemed to calm down. Her eyes wandered through the group, trying to quickly assess the damage that had been done. Though Irene and Victoria both had blood stains on their uniforms (Irene along her arm and Victoria upon his white boot), the senshi on the team that seemed to get everything the worst was Eunomia. That wildcat youma had just been relentless, leaving the dark-haired girl with a blood stain that went from the injuries at her shoulder all the way down to her hip. The girl looked a bit pale from all of the blood loss.
Perhaps if this situation wasn't as serious, Iris might have noticed that the two children of the group had taken to copying her cursing style. Maybe she would have even tried to find other words to describe her emotions.
That wasn't happening now though. "SH*T!" Rather than linger any longer, the blonde turned to Hygiea. Her tone was not gentle, but instead rather demanding as she gave the youngest one orders. "Use your herbs on Eunomia. Use whatever amount you are able to on her... otherwise she's going to bleed out at this rate. Any help is better than nothing at this point..." Iris didn't know the child's limits with her powers, but that wasn't important at the moment. Any help was better than nothing.
After taking care of that, the blonde once more looked over the rest of the group. They all got messed up pretty bad, and if ********* had not intervened when she did, it was quite possible that some of them might have become youma food. Several pairs of eyes were looking at her, as if expecting her to somehow fix everything that had just happened. There were various members on the team that Sailor Iris had not exactly liked so much. Eunomia was always pissing her off, Egeria was annoying as sin, and Victoria just infuriated her with how green he truly was about everything.
Yet, despite this dislike on a personal level, there was an extreme amount of guilt that seemed to be weighing her down. They were only here because she, the team captain had called them here. It wasn't like she wanted the innocent spectators on the other side of the park at the concert to lose their energy or potentially their lives. However, it wasn't like she wanted her teammates to lose theirs in the place of the innocents. That was not how the senshi thing was supposed to work. Her team had bitten off more than they could chew, but more specifically (and accurately), the team captain had bitten off more than they could chew.
Eventually, her golden eyes drifted towards the field in the direction that ********* was luring the youma. "I f*cked up, guys..." she said in an exhausted tone, eyes still trying to locate the guardian. There was a lengthy pause, as if she was trying to find the words to say, but they just weren't coming to mind all that quickly. "I... wouldn't be surprised if you all hated me..." Iris was never all that good about filtering out thoughts and spoken words. Maybe she had meant to say those words, or maybe she hadn't. However, they were out in the air now for everyone to hear.
"...but I thought we really could take them on..." Even as an eternal senshi, she had hardly been able to take on these youma. At best, she had been able to momentarily assist her teammates, but otherwise, the youma had proven to be stronger and faster. She took in a deep breath, slowly, closing her eyes.
I only have one attack left, and after that I am a sitting duck. None of us will be able to take another round of beating.
"I've got one more attack in me... hopefully it will be enough..."
It won't be enough.
"...and I want everyone to gather at home base." There was a pause before she glanced to the fifteen year old girl of the group. "I need you to use your ability once everyone is gathered there..."
There was another pause in her voice, as if she was hesitating to say the final part of her thoughts. She turned away stubbornly to look out to the field again, her hand ruffling up to fluff her own hair in frustration at the situation.
"...and if sh*t gets too real... I want you guys to leave."
She didn't even have to look at the others to know they were probably glaring daggers at her. Hell, if she was in their position, she'd probably be glaring daggers at Iris too! "You can all be pissed off all you want, but as your captain... I am going to protect you all!" In as forceful a tone she could muster up, she then growled out "Now get your asses to home base before I kick them there myself!"
Once her teammates started moving, she also was moving. Rather than going to home base, she made her way to the pitcher's mound, where ********* had been standing earlier at the start of this mess. Once she was in place, she turned to the rest of her team with a big grin. It might be the last time she was going to see them, and she wasn't going to let the last thing they remember be a scowl upon her face.
"I know I suck as a captain... but I'm glad that I at least got to see ********* find all of you..."
With those words, she turned towards the outfield so none of her teammates could see her face anymore. Clapping her palms together, she closed her eyes and began to concentrate on her asteroid. All she needed to do was hear that familiar voice, like she was going to travel back to her old world, and then she'd be able to form her Rainbow Revenge attack perfectly. It was hard to clear her thoughts, with the sounds of the youma running wild, the bitter complaints behind her, the throbbing of her injuries along her side and back, and the sound of the song Silent Night being performed on the other side of the park. Even these sounds were distracting enough, but there were thoughts that got stirred up. Iris couldn't let the people at the concert become victims to the Negaverse. Iris also couldn't let her own team fall at the hands of these youma. Was it possible to save both the civilians and her fellow senshi? A logical person would have answered no.
Sailor Iris was not a logical person. Her desire to protect everyone in that park that evening from the threat of the youma caused her chest to feel warm at first, but then that heat grew to feeling like an inferno. It wasn't painful, but it was overwhelming. As her mind finally seemed to clear, she could feel this sensation starting to branch out until even the tips of her fingers and toes seemed to tingle. Even as the familiar musical laughter of her home world greeted her ears and wrapped about her mind, all the eternal senshi wanted was one thing.
I will protect everyone!

Not enough. It wouldn't be enough. Sailor Iris knew this, and, quite likely, so did the rest of the Asteroid team. The logical thing to do would have been to say no to the idea of making one last stand and find a way out, or even try to call for help. But Iris -- tenacious, proud, bullheaded Sailor Iris -- had made her decision. She was staying, for better or for worse. Even if if just gave a few of the people here a better chance at survival, it would be worth it. Iris had never been a logical person. But she had also never been a coward. In that way, her greatest flaws were also her greatest assets: she was horrifically stubborn. She never had the best idea of when to run away. But she always knew the importance of moving forward. Even if it was scary. Even if she had no idea what lay ahead. Even if she was griping and complaining through the entire journey, she still kept on trudging ahead, step by confusing, terrifying, irritating step. Sun, sand, heat... the most bountiful qualities of the Iridian desert were not kind. They wore down the senshi unforgivingly as she explored the remnants of her asteroid home world, and picked through the scattered fragments of her past. The two entities were always at odds with one another, and like two sides of the same coin because of it. Her asteroid pushed at her relentlessly with its unkind environment, and in turn, she pushed back against it with an equal determination. Step by step. The journey was difficult, but it was worth it. Somehow. For her fellow senshi. For the people they were trying to save. And no matter how harshly as the sun beat down on her, or how much sand the wind threw in her face, she would keep walking. Because if you brave the desert long enough, eventually you'll find an oasis... And Princess Iris had just found hers.

For a brief moment, while Iris' eyes were still closed, her fuku began to glow an intense white color. Then its form changed, flowing out until the very edges of the skirt were touching the ground, fading from a hot white to a pale yellow. Her long strands of hair quite suddenly seemed to grow until the sandy locks were reaching the pitcher's mound as well. Her senshi tiara faded, revealing a mark that seemed to be glowing as if it had been burned upon her forehead. It was her symbol, the rainbow arching over a star. These changes were not nearly as drastic as the final change. Rather suddenly, two large graceful wings seemed to shoot out from the captain's shoulder blades, sending a flurry of loose feathers to drift from the air down. The moment they had reached out as far back as they could, they started to tremble gently, both appendages being quite new. Iris' eyes opened slowly, her golden gaze focused upon her closed hands in front of her. She was expecting to open her hands and then there would be a rainbow there, waiting for her to launch at her opponents. However, when she opened her hands, she didn't find such to greet her. Instead, she found a small gemstone that seemed to shimmer of many colors. It seemed to have its own gravity in a sense, for rather than remain laying upon the palms of her hands, it began to float up slightly. The Iridian Crystal... her mind seemed to whisper to her. The guardian had been running as best she could to try to keep the youma off her senshi. However, they had gotten wise and soon enough the silvery haired girl was surrounded. It was easier to hunt the prey by overwhelming it from all sides. Yet, as they began to make their steps closer, there was a strong surge of energy that seemed to almost pulsate from the other side of the field.
********* ears perked up, despite the fact they were lodged into the ear holes on her hat. "...what in the world...?" There were some things that even guardians did not know or recall right away. Whatever had happened on the other side of the field was a complete surprise to her as well.
Some of the youma seemed to lose interest in ********* right away. Sure, the Mauvian was full of energy, but now on the other side of the field was a lot of energy AND smaller energy signals. In some aspects these youma were smarter, but when it came to energy, several of them seemed to just look at the mere amount of energy like a scale. If one side had more, that one was obviously the best choice. Only two youma seemed to remain interested in the Mauvian. Needla and Cherie.
In as helpful a tone as she could muster from where she was at on the field, the guardian shouted out "WATCH OUT, YOUMA ARE COMING BACK!"If it weren't for the situation they were in at the moment, the new princess might have spared a glance to her hip to locate a strange crystalline object now dangling there. It would have seemed familiar, since as an eternal senshi, she had remembered such an object from her distant past. It was her Ewer, one of the few items able to accompany her in the Sacred Lands of the asteroid, Iris. However, there were more important things to tend to. Though her voice still seemed to hold a serious edge to it, there was something kinder to her tone as she quite quickly gave a new set of instructions. "...Change of plans... I need you all to trust me... and please move yourselves in front of me..." There was no slang and no cussing, and quite frankly, it almost seemed like it wasn't the Iris they knew speaking to them. For a moment, she closed her eyes, concentrating on the crystal at her hands. You can do this... you can... everyone has to do something for the first time at least once... right? With her eyes still pinched tightly shut, she then cried out as loud as her voice could possibly manage " IRIS CRYSTAL POWER!" The crystal at her fingertips began to glow intensely, the colors of the light shifting through the various colors. Approximately 5 feet behind her and extending to both sides of her by 25 feet, a strip of colored light seemed to form a line on the ground. Quite quickly, it shot up, seeming to sprout from the ground almost like some sort of bizarre rainbow-plant. Once the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet lights began to seemingly grow from the ground, the princess' eyes opened. She could see the youma on the other side of the field rushing towards her. Using all of her willpower, the princess remained in place, unable to move from her spot. Yet with all of her heart, she concentrated on the Rainbow which had only started to form, helping it to start off in the right direction. It was her goal to make the arch form over the baseball field, over her allies and her opponents alike. The strip of colored light easily lit up the evening sky, and from the concert, some children eventually noticed the unusual lights. The parents easily lay the blame upon special effects for the holiday concert. (OOC NOTE: The effects of the Crystal attack are not evident yet. It will take one turn for the attack to fully form, and that is when the effects will become apparent. All senshi players, please post when you are able with your reactions heart )

As ********* ran and all the youma followed Egeria's eyes widened.
"No..." She whispered the word at first and then looked at Iris. How could she? She had seen them talking but knew nothing of what was said yet Iris was giving the instructions and now ********* was running for her life.
"*********!" Tears formed in her eyes as she watched their beloved guardian cat literally run for her life and then Iris started speaking and Egeria wanted to shout at her. As for hating Iris? Well this was Egeria and she felt pretty close to hating her. However then Iris was basically telling them to leave?
"STUPID IDIOT!" Was pretty much the only thing Egeria could shout at their team leader and even then her eyes went straight back to *********.... pleading that their cat would be okay. Then the light happened and Egeria had to turn and look.
She kept glancing towards ********* and so noticed the youma stop quite quickly and she also noticed two were still on ********* tail (if she had one anyway). However the light shone from their captain pretty bright and when she could see again.... she laughed.
She choked as she forced herself to stop laughing, after all their were youma still running towards them and so she half walked, half crawled in front of Iris and stood facing her, looking at her still trying to stifle her laughing. Iris was wearing a long pretty dress. Iris had really long hair. Iris looked really girly. Oh and Iris had wings! Oh Egeria could have had a field day taunting their captain but she remembered ********* and the youma and as Iris used some other random power she seemed to have Egeria just stayed where she was and watched. There was no point in trying to fight whatever was happening but still... *********....

The rolling trip was short, thankfully, Hygiea coming to a halt on her back and her white shirt covered in dirt and grass. Her arms were aching, the little senshi let out a small groan as pushed herself up, barely in time to hear instructions yelled her way. Eunomia. Heal Eunomia.
A little dazed and disgruntled, Hygiea turned herself about to try and locate the tall blue haired girl. Where she was instructed to go until Egeria's cries about ********* reached her ears. Something was wrong with *********? Her attention immediately shifted to locate the cat, panic began to rise when she spotted the silver haired girl trying to get the attention of the youma.
"No," she gasped and began to push herself up. She wasn't too badly hurt, just a bit winded.. she could make it. She could save *********. The youma near her were of no concern. Hygiea was to her feet finally when the light came into her field of vision, stealing her attention and focus as it shimmered almost like a rainbow.
The light was Iris. Wait. Sailor Hygiea stood their confused, just staring at her captain. She was wearing a pretty dress and had wings, well she always had wings but these seemed like real wings and not just buttwings. They reminded her kind of like Castor's wings but they were white and stuff and well. But still.
"Huh?" Really, even being instructed to move she couldn't find herself being able to. She just stood there, perplexed with her mouth agape.

Vick was staring at Iris. Wait what the hell just happened? There was a noticeable jump in energy. Not to mention when the first order was to run after ********* had left changing into a girl again. Then the next order was to stand in front of her. He was... dumbfounded.
One of the chibis were laughing at Iris. Actually there was so much happening from yelling to the pain and..... He paused choosing for a second to ignore the 'get in front of me' order, "Hygiea,if you need another attack so you can heal Eunomia, my attack can give you another one." He said hoping the girl would snap out of her daze. Eunomia really did need to be healed before she bled out.
He then moved to stand in front of Iris but still near Hygiea if she needed an extra attack.

Eunomia let out a weird, loopy groan, trying to make sense of ********* shouts as the cat tried to lure the youma away from them. Had she been able to process and understand what the cat was staying, she probably would've been worried. However, in her clouded mind she simply luxuriated in the lack of assault on her personal being.
It felt like just waking up, too early and trying to figure out what time it was.
Until a blinding white light snapped her awake again. Her snap reflex was to shield her eyes with her arm, only realizing after it was a painful and stupid move and once the light had become less extreme it was a relief to drop it, even if the sight in front of her was confusing as all ********. Iris was... well Iris, but she was different too, and not just because of the feathery wings and long, pretty dress that made Eunomia wish yellow was more her color.
The instructions were shockingly... articulate? Enunciated? It was like Iris was possessed or something. Or maybe just really serious about everyone moving closer, so she forced her aching and stinging muscles to will herself up to stand and move.
She heard twice now 'heal Eunomia' but none of the context. everyone was injured, right? But she hadn't looked down to see that massive bloodstain and that was probably for the best, lest she throw up right there in the middle of everything. For now her lightheadedness worked in her favor, because she was so blissfully unaware of the length of that stain.
No, for now, she could only split her attention between so many things, and one of those was Iris and the spike in power surrounding her, and ********* being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Or, rather, a Needla and a Cherie.

This was bad. Really bad. Irene was barely standing, the pain in her arm and leg excruciating, and yet she could be considered one of the lucky ones. Barely or not, she could move under her own power. And despite the impossibility of the situation, the fact that she could move meant that she wanted to keep fighting. To keep doing something useful, even though she knew she couldn't dodge much longer. Nobody could.
Iris' decision was tough for everyone to hear, but for Irene in particular it was a dilemma. She was being given a job to do, an important one, but it wasn't what she felt she should be doing. Her gut told her to go with her leader, to help take down the youma. Her body told her that was not an option. Her mind told her that Iris' request was their best chance, while her heart wanted to follow Iris as long as she could before actually collapsing. With such internal conflict, it was no wonder that for several seconds, all she could do was stand there slack-jawed.
At first, she tried to follow. She even took a couple of shaky steps forward. But she couldn't do it. Iris was trusting her to help the others get to safety. This wasn't about fighting youma or fulfilling her duty. This was about protecting as many people as possible. That was the decision their leader had made, and Irene knew she had to support it, or whatever Iris was doing would fail. Surely, if they all played their parts, she could still succeed... right?
Looking around, she shuffled backwards, making sure she was as centrally located as possible before shouting "Irene's Peaceful Offering!" A glittering, transparent sapling bloomed in front of her, casting its spell over everyone nearby. Those running for cover would find their journey just a bit swifter. But Irene was frozen again. Even though she knew she should take the opportunity to run, she had to see what happened. She had to know everything would be okay.
And somehow, it was, if not in the way she expected. Irene was still new to the senshi business, and things like royalty were beyond her grasp. All she knew was that something big and important had happened. It must have been important, or Iris wouldn't be wearing a dress. The light she emitted totally overwhelmed her own magic, overpowering the ghostly sapling and nearly blinding her. It took her several seconds to hear Iris' new instructions, and several more to get her body to cooperate in actually following them, as she limped in the direction indicated. Her mind was too awed for comment, or anything other than the following of simple instructions.

(OOC Note: I am snagging this post to reserve for both Kailey and Desu, both who won't be able to post this moment in the RP. School and Computer fails are making it hard for them to post, so I am just reserving them posts so they can have their own reaction posts when they are able to write them later <3 ) Kailey Koreco Swing... and a major miss!
Metis fumbled forward a few steps, startled by not only the sudden influx of energy in her vision, but Fortuna's sudden departure to chase after... *********?! Why was she... she was injured! She shouldn't be running, never mind luring the youma off! The scout stared after the once more human guardian as her sight of ********* and the following youma faded slightly with the increasing distance, but breathing heavy and throbbing a good bit from the spikes still in her and some forming bruises, it didn't really even occur to her to try and help. Of course, then she'd have to ask herself how she could possibly be of aid...
A question that repeated as she looked back to her teammates. She wasn't one for swearing, but she could agree silently at least with Iris and the kids as they swore here and there. Her head moved to where Iris' figure stood, taking a few steps towards her. Waiting. For... well, for what, not even the brunette knew. A plan, she hoped. An idea. Something. Tell them to call in help, or maybe she figured out a way to fight them..? Metis had no idea. But what Iris started to say made her swallow, body tensing. Instantly she wanted to snap at the Rainbow senshi for saying such things. Hate her... goodness no. Yes they bit off more than they could chew but... there had to be a way! --Run away?! "Iris you can't be serious?" she finally blurted out, horrified by what she was hearing. "I've still got one attack left, I can-" -help? How? If anything, she could disorientate a youma and give them an extra edge to... run. Oh she was fuming as she made her way over to homebase as instructed, frustrated by not only the situation but her own lack of understanding how to help. But none of them were doing well, she could see all the better as they slowly and somewhat gathered. Iris' one attack wouldn't... how could they... oh don't say that to them, Iris...
"...Iris?" More energy. More waves. Metis watched as her form began to shift, stared almost gaping as... as wings sprouted from her back. How... how was that possible? She knew nothing of Princes or Princesses, but when a kinder voice (one that did not sound like the Iris she knew, neither that tone nor the full words being spoken) she found herself moving as directed. "...who are you and what have you done to our Iris?" was all she asked the girl in the dress with wings once she was standing in front of her. But she smiled. Metis was scared, she had no idea what on earth they were going to do to help each other or the people blissfully unaware of the battle... but the absurdity of the situation, of seeing Iris in a dress of all things... had her smiling. Oh goodness she might start crying at this rate, too. And yet. A part of her couldn't help but feel seeing Iris like this had a nice hand in her sudden emotion swing. Or maybe she was just starting to get a little hysterical.
Desukyun One moment, everything had been black and the next was the foreign pressure lifting followed by a harsh crash against the ground. His entire body curled into itself in the grass as he gulped down air, not knowing or caring what had happened to anyone else at that moment. Watery gold eyes finally opened when he was sure the pressured had released itself from around his chest. The dull, throbbing pain in his chest had somewhat subsided but the pain that radiated from his midsection was bubbling over. Parthenope coughed, the sound gurgling from deep in his chest. That thing was gone, drawn away from them all by *********. He didn’t know where or how but he was just glad that this wasn’t the last time he’d breath fresh air. He coughed again and a dull, throbbing pain under his ribs accompanied the same gurgling. Well that’s not good… Parthenope stood as best as he could on shaky legs, swaying this way and that before his lanky body was able to stabilize itself. He wrapped one hand around his stomach, almost mimicking the thick, black stain across his midsection. Thankfully he’d been able to hear Iris’ instructions. It would be no use being so far away from everyone else anyway. He tried his best to hobble over, casually ignoring the request to usher the chibi senshi closer to them. She’d get taken care of and the state of his lungs and his breathlessness probably didn’t lend well to talking anyway. A little slower than Parthenope would have liked, he was able to follow Iris’ instructions, falling behind her in a small but noticeable coughing fit. The quick movements of their leader caught his attention. Rainbow Revenge. He’d seen it many times before. Or rather, seen her try it many times before. Hell, he’d even done the movements himself to try and help but to no avail. (to be continued)

How... irritating.
Even without her particular sensitivity to the forces that waged war in Destiny City, Tanzanite could have felt the sudden burst of energy. She understood now, watching from the skies above, what the feeling was. Why it had burned her senses even from such a distance, and why it seared her eyes to look upon now.
It was the power of a royal senshi, but it was not Castor's power. Of all the senshi, perhaps only one could rival the Senshi of Hail in the race for Tanzanite's complete and utter loathing.
"Princess Iris," the Youma Queen spoke the words as though they tasted foul, not noticing her human hand as it lifted and its blackened fingertips rested against her throat. They traced the thin white scar that ringed her neck. It was the first of many that Tanzanite would eventually receive in service of the Negaverse, but it had never faded in her memory like those that came after. Tanzanite could barely remember most of those battles, but she recalled with clarity the way Iris' ribbon burned into her skin.
"This is going to be a problem," Tanzanite whispered, and yet she couldn't wipe the razor-toothed smile from her wicked face. Iris was a Princess. Worse, Iris was a Princess with a court. Tanzanite should have been angry, perhaps even worried as she watched the youma hurtle towards certain death, but she could not muster such emotions. If her heart were able to beat, it would have been racing with excitement. In her head, Marthozite rattled off strategies and tactics, but Tanzanite could not think of such things.
She saw only a Princess who wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
A Princess who might, in time, have the power to end her life.
Is that what you want? Marthozite's voice was unusually solemn.
"I like to know that it's still an option," she murmured quietly, but even such grim conversation did not keep the grin from tugging at the corners of Tazanite's mouth.
"After all, someday... this world will burn."
So it will, Marthozite murmured, and the figures below felt a small ripple of dark energy as the Youma Queen spread her wings and was gone.

Whether or not her teammates listened to her request was not her responsibility at this point. Any passing distractions had to be ignored as the new princess continued to focus everything on the small glowing crystal between her hands. Two hundred feet from the spot where the rainbow had sprouted, the large colored band of light finally touched the earth again.
The rainbow had easily passed over the head of the Mauvian and the two youma, Needla and Cherie. Where as Iris was putting her all into this and was unable to notice, ********* briefly felt the flicker of darkness that had come close by.
"Opps... sorry to disappoint, but I think I need to get out of your ways..." Quite quickly, the circus-styled Mauvian shrunk back down into the form of a simple cat.
The effects of the rainbow finally seemed to start affecting those who decided to stand underneath the space which the arch loomed over. The youma were the first to let everyone know what was happening to them as several of them began to screech in pain. It was like the light was burning them evenly like they were in an oven. Though the youma had all of their strengths and defenses, none of them were immune to this sort of magic. For the senshi and the single cat, who did not have the darkness affecting them like the youma did, they would feel something different. It actually felt somewhat refreshing, almost soothing like they were standing in the rain. It might not have been much, but as those soldiers stood under the rainbow, they could feel their wounds closing slightly. It was as if they were regenerating slightly while standing beneath the rainbow.
It might have seemed strange, but after all, rainbows were made of light and rain.
(OOC NOTE: All players, including youma players may post! To sum it up, if you are a youma player, you should be posting death posts for the youma you were playing. Thank you so much for helping out with this RP! If you are a senshi player, the effect is a subtle regen. Approximately 1% of health every 9 seconds, lasting at most 90 seconds/10% of the health. This is meant to help with exterior wounds, like cuts, but won't fix broken bones or super heavy injuries. It is meant to soothe, not to be the cure-all.)

Egeria had been lucky in the fact that through out the battle she had probably been harmed the least, finding that being crushed and knocked about my big beach balls more painful then anything else but there weren't many open wounds. However she still felt the affect of the rainbow.
It was beautiful to look at and once she saw ********* was safe she allowed herself to feel it, the calming nature of it made her smile. She also stuck her tongue out at those youma that were painfully dying, which of course served them right!
She moved back towards Iris and smiled, though she would probably question her and hound her later. After all why couldn't they all be princesses? For now though she enjoyed the rain like feeling that she was getting and the soothing feeling that came with it.
See the negaverse could be defeated with rainbows!
