SilentVex Oh Rick Perry, do you not understand what separation of church and state means?
He's a dominionist, he thinks God and Christians should rule the world.

I mean, why would you keep the one TRUE religion from subjugating the others? *sarcasm intended* If only he realized that no religion thinks it's not the one true one...trying so hard to not bash religion here...

It is but from what I've read, dominionists would like to change that. And honestly, that scares me a lot.

I also agree with what one man thought of a government such as that... which was partially what caused the American Revolution. When a government is corrupt and fails to meet the needs of its citizens they have the right to rise up and topple the corrupt government. I say Let's go with Locke's idea about that if we have to.

I think things would need to get a bit worse before a revolution would start. People are unhappy but not the point where they can't take anymore. Yet. Hopefully that won't happen. A revolution in this day and age would be a very ugly and violent thing, I suspect.

Worse still with the National Guard being used in absence fo the Army... they weren't meant for foreign wars. They were actually meant to be the people's protection against the outside and the government itself. Of course I MAY be wrong....
