The tiny tip of her tongue that her teeth were biting on disappeared, and suddenly her whole tongue was in view as she stuck it out at Kettil. "Nooo, just a second. I has a lots of pockets." She shifted Endzela into her other arm, and started looking in the pouches on her belt from the opposite side.
A moment later there was a jingle, and she pulled them out victoriously. "AHA!" She cried out, bringing them down to unlock her door and walk inside.
"This is my dorms!" She announced, waving her hand airily at the expanse of the small room. "Here, make yourself comfortables while I go do somethings real quick." She settled Endzela down right next to her owl pillow on the foxfire couch, and walked right back out her door.
Outside, Freya rubbed her arm against the p***s that was written on her dry erase board, and then took the pen and walked across the hall. There, on someone elses board, she wrote 'U SMELL LIKE POO'. Satisfied with her work, she capped her pen, walked back into her room, and flopped down right next to Kettil, arms immediately capturing him in a hug.
"WELCOMES HOME!"

He stuck his tongue back out at her, "Get less pockets then~."
It was an easy fix to a very big problem she seemed to be having. Endzela just was very still and well behaved during this entire exchange probably realizing that sudden movements would not do her any favors if any at all. When she was set down next to the pillow she just sat there and then ... suddenly tried to imitate the pose on the pillow's print.
Kettil looked around and smiled a bit and then watched as she just walked right back out the door to apparently attend to something. He took that time to just simply set his bags down somewhere out of the way and then settle on the couch...where he sunk in.
....
It's a trap.
Suddenly she was back and next to him and wrapping her arms around him in a hug which he returned with a laugh, "Thanks! I think I'm stuck here forever."
This was a trap he was okay with.

"YAY KETTIL IS STUCK HERES FOREVER AND I KEEPS." She threw her hands up in victory, before pulling her legs up underneath her and leaning completely on his side. This was a hug that would probably not end for a very, very long time - after all, it was their first.
She grinned up at him brightly and then flickered her gaze to Endy, who mirrored the pillow. A sharp hack of laughter escaped her helplessly when she saw it.
"I can't believes yehr really here." Her mood had shifted subtly, but quick. When she'd spoken, she was still looking at Endy, but her eyes lifted up to Kettil soon after. "Both of yehs. It makes me so happy I feels like I could explode."

He was all too happy to just hold onto her and hug her forever right now. This was just fine. She smelt nice, felt nice in his arms, and in general he had no complaints at all. When he heard her sharp laughter he tilted his head to take a look and just chuckled, "She is an odd girl."
"I am not." Endzela said simply and with a good amount of dignity.
Kettil just smirked at the Owl and then looked at Freya where their eyes met for the moment, "I'm glad I am here too. I was really excited when the letter came and it said that I could at least come see the play."

A little sadness creeped into her expression, if only for a moment.
"So, yeh really thinks yehr goings teh go straight home as soon as they close the school for sure?" Her arms tightened around him and she pouted. A few moments of silence passed, before a quieter voice uttered out. "I only just gots yeh.. don't wants teh just lets yeh go so soon."
She finally had a reason to be pissed off about the school closing. She was so glad she did her best in those tests. Speaking of which..
"I thinks they posted the results of the exams, that will determines the school closings or not. Wants me to go look online and sees if they're up?"

The fact that she was sad was touching but really. It was bad to get to at least hold her once (and hopefully more) rather than not ever. He leaned and gently and very lightly headbutted her, "I'm only leaving if they make me at this point. I don't know how Lark feels about all this just yet either."
Speaking of which she didn't know he was here yet.
....Yeah he was probably going to get some crap for that.
Right now he shoved that worry aside. Right now it was Freya time.
He reached up and just idly pushed some bits of errant hair from her face and he just let out a thoughtful hum, "I think...right now I just...want to not think about that. You know? It is our time right now," thoughtful pause, "but if you want to go see right now I really won't stop you. You gotta be curious."

Kettil made a good point. She was curious as hell to find out if they were really being forced to leave, but not so curious that she was going to get up off this couch right now. She was finally cuddled up with her best of friends on the best of couches - and she was not ready to let go.
"Okays." She chirped. "Yeh has a good points. I looks later." She stretched her arm out over him, fingers wiggling invitingly at Endzela. "Come here, my darling, I wants yeh here cuddlings too. Yeh knows I can't lives without yeh."

Kettil just nodded, "Up to you, like I said. Ain't gon' stop ya but the longer we are like this the better in my opinion," he said happily enough.
It didn't take much to lure Endy over as she stopped imitating the pillow and waddled her feathery self on over for cuddles, she climbed a bit and got herself nice and comfy between the pair. That was apparently Endy's ideal spot.
The boil laughed as he reached and pet his familiar against the crest of her chest, "Is La-la comfortable?"
"Very," she said contently.

Freya made little happy sounds as Endzela settled in, and she cuddled them both happily. "Look, is like our own happy little family. Mama," She leaned in and kissed Endzela's head. "Papa..." She grinned, and then patted Kettil's head as she said the last word. "And the baaaaby!"
Her brilliant smile beamed up at him with the force of a thousand suns, perhaps to blind him so that he would not punch her for being a sarcastic little twit.

Kettil laughed instead of blushing. He was amused instead of flustered mostly because it was such a sweet but silly little image they made, "Man, I don't know how we ended up with an owl scareling, but at least she's beautiful." Kettil said happily as he gently scratched lightly at the side of Endzela's head which she leaned into with a happy sound.
The boil smiled back over at Freya and then just moved his head to where it rested against Freya's shoulder. This was amazingly easy to fall into. It was comfortable. Happy. He could get used to this and he refused to think about how they'd probably be torn away from each other after this.
"This is nice." He said in a serious tone. He almost sounded tired.

"I didn't mean-" She had thought she was clearly calling him the baby of their little 'family', but Kettil hadn't taken it that way. Perhaps it was just the way he wanted to hear it, but suddenly Endzela was their little scareling, and Freya felt just a little strange. When his head rested on her shoulder, her brows furrowed deeply in concern. She was trying to be careful, because she loved both of the boils in her life very, very much - but in different ways. Ways that could hurt someone, if she didn't pay attention to what she was doing.
She leaned her head down on top of his, and her hand cupped his chin, patting it gently. "Ah, wells." She conceded to let it go, giving Endzela a wry glance as she settled in with Kettil. Despite the serious tone in his voice, her voice was light and agreeable in return. "Yeh knows, it really is. I was worried it wouldn't be the sames, when yeh gots here." She turned her head and blew a tiny raspberry into his hair. "But it's even better."

"...I know." He said simply to what she didn't mean. He'd figured out a few seconds after he rested his head on her shoulder smiling a bit, "I didn't mean to make you uneasy, Princess. I'm not that crazy yet." He chuckled as he felt the raspberry be blown against his hair and didn't object to it. He was just happy to be there with her.
Kettil closed his eyes a little as his fingertips trailed lazy patterns against Endzela's feathers. He frowned for a moment just a little, "I was worried about that, too. I mean it'd have been like having a wonderful friend and then losing them a few seconds afterward."
...That would have sucked a lot.

"I'm not uneasies!" Freya's voice pitched just a little higher when she said it, and she cleared her throat before letting out a soft, embarrassed giggle. "Yeh don't makes me anythings but happy, Hooter. Don't frets."
The unease she assured him she didn't feel, finally started to ebb away as she closed her eyes and listened to the soft hushing sound of Kettil brushing against Endzela's feathers. She realized, with a slow and foggy thought, that they were being very quiet, and that normally wasn't her style. But when she let it settle in her brain, nothing felt odd about the silence. Nothing felt awkward. It wasn't something she wanted to end.
But she did, anyway.
"Can I asks yeh something?" She murmured, her eyes still closed. "Is it.. weird, that I don't feels like I needs teh talk to yeh right now, even though I also feels like I gots a thousand things teh say?" It made no sense, and it made all the sense in the world. "I feels like I should be cartings yeh off to shows yeh all the little things about Amityville, and go do somethings interestings with yeh, but.. but I don't feels like that, too. I just wants teh stay here."
And do, or say, nothing. It wasn't like her to feel that comfortable; that at ease. Silence was her enemy, and sitting still was her bane.
Except this was perfectly okay.

"You make me happy, too." He said in return and with a lot of sincerity. He didn't tease her about the way her voice pitched or even the small giggle she had uttered. When they lapsed into silence he just enjoyed it quietly eating it up as it settled around them like a warm and comfortable blanket that he enjoyed. While Kettil loved being active and wild he also enjoyed being quiet in general. There was something about being quiet with Freya that seemed ... meaningful mostly because she didn't seem the type to enjoy this.
When she spoke up he blinked his eyes open and lifted his head slightly to look at her, "No Freya it isn't weird...I think it feels nice. Natural. I think it means that our friendship is strong enough for us to be able to do this."
He knew when he was alone and in his own room he'd probably go insane and just go out a lot for company but silence like this was good. It was nice.

Their friendship was strong enough.
Freya really liked the way that sounded. Everything seemed to settle into place in her heart comfortably. Her face pinched up as she snuggled in, settling comfortably until she finally melted against him and found the perfect spot to spend the rest of the day in.
Which was probably exactly what she was going to do.
