Danny leaned over to smell another pile of the boxes. Huh. Smelled like cinnamon. Weird! She had never really bothered to check. Well that was a plus. A definite plus.
"Yup!" she said, now raising herself from the pile. The little boxes yipped and shifted slightly in their piles. Danny hadn't had an easy time sleeping with them the first few nights, but she had eventually grown used to the sound of the little purrs they made while in their boxes. Danny would never really understand it, but they seemed happy to live in their boxes. Tiff and Tony still slept in theirs most nights if they weren't on the bed with her.
Speaking of the little foxes, out came Tony walking so proper and lady-like, followed by Tiff running circles around her as she walked. It eventually turned into Tony claiming her spot on the bed and Tiff settling for the spot next to her. "Oh! Thas a Rabo. There's two kinds I think, but I've only seen orange ones. I'm not sure if the white one is special or what."
She scratched her head awkwardly. "But sometimes they don't wanna come outta their boxes at first. I un really get it." She looked at the closet. "Should we get back to searching?"
