Eruravenne *going back and reading more of the thread* Yeata Zi Eh Hanukkah isn't that appealing... other than the not horribly commercialized aspect of it--but boy, oh boy, do I love Rosh Hashanah. It's funny, actually. My church has a Messianic Jewish priest, so we celebrate all the Jewish holidays there as well as the Christian ones. You'd probably like it there. XD I heart latkes... whee WOah. Sounds awesome. I liked my Church back home until they bashed Gay people. It was very weird. I like the Episcopal church because we're wicked open about that stuff--D:

The whole "Judge not, lest ye be judged." and "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." and "Love thy neighbor as thyself." things, you know. Things that many Christians seem to conveniently forget about. neutral

Yeata Zi The Iron Magus Yeata Zi Hopefully I won't be completely joyless <3 I think I'm getting an iPod touch and some comic books. My fella has seems to have hidden something biggish in the closet. Perhaps a Wii? Or a PS3? I do want to play little big planet. Eh Hanukkah isn't that appealing... other than the not horribly commercialized aspect of it--but boy, oh boy, do I love Rosh Hashanah. Not joyless, but atheist... maybe... eh? mrgreen Sweet. What comics are you hoping for? I played Little Big Planet. I got it for free as a reward for having my identity stolen. It didn't really hook me; I only played the first few levels. What's so bad about commercialization, anyway? And also, what's Rosh Hashanah, and why's it so awesome? Sorry to hear you're sick. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I don't think I could deny the existence of some force out there. It just sounds like such a cold existence. Even if I'm wrong and there is nothing, at least I have something to cling to in life. If I convince myself that there is some kind of plan for me made by some bigger than everything being--well, life seems a little less crummy, doesn't it? Little Big Planet looks so cute. Eh. I think commercialization takes away the meaning in holidays. St. Valentines day is about a group of people who were martyred and somehow that has escalated into giving cardboard cards and eating candy. Don't even get me started to St. Patrick's day. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year! It looks like a lot of fun. accurate. Rosh Hashanah is awesome. We eat sweet things and sing and dance. It's great. Possibly my favorite holiday.

Wow, this thread has grown like an American when a even larger burger comes out. I'm an atheist but I believe in reincarnation up until a certain point in soul progression when the souls color changes from yellow to blue. Well, it's not actually the souls color, it's a projection from a bunch of small lights connected to a robot in another dimension that is the soul.

Yeata Zi I like the episcopal church because we've got a gay bishop. Which is pretty neat. That is kind of awesome. I guess they really are open to homosexuality.

The Iron Magus Laff70 Wow, this thread has grown like an American when a even larger burger comes out. Well, it's not actually the souls color, it's a projection from a bunch of small lights connected to a robot in another dimension that is the soul. I AM OBLIGATED TO RESPECT YOUR EXTREMELY RATIONAL BELIEF.LOL But my belief DOES have scientific ground. A psychologist was hypnotizing people to find out about the afterlife and they stumbled upon a key word. The word was "group", apparently souls hang out in groups. He used this keyword to find out more about the afterlife by hypnotizing other people. They also all agree with the facts that he may provide from other cases too. I've just mixed those belifs with my scientific knowledge of physics(which isn't like that stupid mythology-like theory those morons(quantum physicist) have) and got a result that makes sense. I've just told you part of my understanding of the afterlife. I think the book is called "The journey of the souls" and it has a sequel. Oh hey, I found an online copy of the book, here's the link(The amount of pages you can see is limit sadly, if you want to read more you could try buying the book): Journey of the souls smile
