Roch grinned. "Yeah, that sounds like him," he said. It was blatantly obvious that he liked the guy. "But we had a full on pizza WAR over the next month. He pelted me with bananas and I caught him in a net and all sorts of stupid crap," he told her. "You should have seen him. He was standing on the roof, throwing bananas one after the other like this--"
He flailed his arms, making sure not to hit anyone else in the line. "And me AND the pizza guy got coated in the stuff!"

Whaaat?
Hel was laughing more. Where was she when these shenanigans were going on? “I would have enjoyed seeing that!” She replied, chuckling once more until it was their turn at the counter. “Ah…go ahead and order, friend…I’ll get it.” Luckily Hel had a bit of an allowance stashed up. She wasn’t a frivolous spender, and often would stash some seeds away. She could afford to get Roch some pizza!

"Nah, I got it," he said. "This is a date, remember?" he added, ordering a large pizza with everything on it. They got a box, which he paid for quickly, and he turned, still holding her hand as he tugged her to a table. "Fake or not, it's still the guy--who eats the most," he said evilly.

Hel blinked, and then made a baffled face.
Oh yeah…their pretend date. Whaaaat, boils paid on dates? That wasn’t strictly a Mot thing? Hel wasn’t sure what to feel about this! She could pay for things too! Apparently not this time though, seeing as Roch made the order and then paid for it already. Once again, the ghoul was dragged towards a table, and she snorted loudly at his comment. “Well, I suppose I can give you that, since you did win the eating competition, beating out my sister. Thank you, Roch!” Once at the table, the reaper took a seat. “What now?”

"Now we eat," he said, opening the box. "Or did you think I was just joking about eating?" he asked her, grabbing a slice and shoving it into his mouth. "After this, I dunno, wanna go play arcade games? They got Guitar FEAR-O!"

Hel gave a snort of amusement.
“Oh, I knew you weren’t joking about the eating part.” After Roch grabbed a piece, Hel did as well, and while she didn’t just shove it into her mouth like the punk reaper, she wasn’t taking little bites either. Mmm pizza…so good. Chewing on her current bite, the valkyrie tilted her head. “Arcade games?” Guitar FEAR-o? “I’ve never played Arcade games before!” They didn’t exactly have those where she lived.

"You'll like this one!" he said, finishing off another slice. Half the pizza was gone--but surprisingly, he stopped. "It'll be a lot of fun, even if you don't do that great. I played it with Danny and--" He stopped, then shrugged. "Xiu."

Hel picked up another slice as well, working at it as she looked at Roch. Huh! She was always up for trying out new things, especially if it was competitive. The reaper picked up another slice, working at it before pausing. “…Oh…well, we don’t have to play that one if you don’t want to, friend.” She then gestured to what was left of the pizza.
“All yours.”

"Nah, it's fine," Roch said, finishing it off now that he had permission. "C'mon, you'll like it!" he said, getting to his feet and grinning at her. "You can try and kick my a**--the guitars have buttons."
Like the one in the couch room, sort of.

“Ah…okay!” She watched him finish off the rest of the pizza, and then got to her feet as well. Hel grinned a bit at him in return. Oh ho…this was turning into a challenge! You think she’d know better by now to not get competitive with someone in their own specialized field but…nope! She hadn’t learned that yet.
“Buttons, you say?” Hel replied curiously, trailing after the reaper now to wherever this arcade would be.
