Diphda scuttled onto Maya's back and clutched tightly onto her fur. "" he cried, though the so-called ride had not even started yet.
Claramay heard a familiar static buzz sound from her messenger back and suddenly felt her stomach jump a bit. "Excuse me, I'll be right back. I want to make sure my Pidgeot can handle the trip." she said and suddenly descended from the Pokemon center and outside to Katarina square. Algenubi was a level-headed bird and could steady his stamina well. Her choice to leave the PC was of another reason.
To back up her claim, Cetus withdrew the Pokeball from her back and threw it up. The Pidgeot suddenly exploded from the sphere, did an ark around through air, and than landed gracefully next to his trainer.
"Geot?" he chirped with a twist of his head, but the grunt shooed his interest away for a moment. She withdrew her communicator from her satchel and pressed it to her ear. Signals from inside the Pokemon Center were interfering with her obtained message, hence the static. It was her main reason for stepping out.
The message was a brief statement: "Mewtwo: Rocket experiment. Location: Pilkiras Plains. Obtain. Failure not an option."
Cetus widened her eyes and mouthed the ending phrase, "Failure not an option." Mentally, she cursed a string of phrases and words too graphic for the PG-13 undertones of Gaia. Cetus didn't dare guess the worth or meaning of her catching the 'Rocket experiment' (hell, she didn't even know what it looked like!) but knew it represented some extreme purpose it is was Team Rocket related.

Natalie looked behind her, it seemed like Nurse Joy was done healing Dusty. Natalie stood up and walked over to the nurse, picked up her pokemon and let her out of the pokeball. The Emolga hid behind Natalie's leg when she was summoned out of the capsule, so Natalie picked her up and walked back to the others. "Emol..."

"Tenka!" Shina called. Tenka glanced over, then very deliberately looked back to Maya. Shina sighed. Well, he was newly caught. He'd warm up to her. "Fine, but stay with Maya, then. Don't go wandering off."
To the humans, Shina smiled. "All right, if everyone is ready, we should probably visit the Pokemart, the camping supply store, and the bicycle shop. We're going to need to rent some transportation, and um," Shina blushed. "Well, the Ponyta rental place won't talk to me."

Maya made her way over to her trainer, carrying the small Pichu. She would walk next to flint for now, unlike Tenka she didn't hold any particular ill-will towards her trainer, that Tauros of his however, was a completely different story.
Flint nodded " sounds like a plan." he said, excited to go outside because it meant he could let Rush out for a while. He smiled a bit as Maya walked over to stand next to him.

Cetus turned when other members of the caravan began to descend from the Pokemon Center to Katarina square. She hastily snapped off her communicator, stuffed it in her bag, and turned to greet the others with a smile and a hand upon her Pidgeot. "We're ready to go?" she asked. "Where's our first stop?"

"The Pokemart, I think," Shina answered. "They tend to have a pretty wide variety, and we all need supplies for our Pokemon."

"Alrighty than." Cetus nodded. She considered digging in her leather side satchel for her Pidgeot's Pokemon, but thought otherwise. "You mind walking, Al?" she intoned to the bird.
The Pidgeot puffed up his feathers and chirruped a narrow, "Geoot," which translated to a thick "Yes." Even so, Cetus shrugged him off and beckoned. "C'mon than, let's go." she smiled and began to walk off after Shina. The large bird sunk his head with a grumble and simply followed after.

Flint smiled as the exited the poke-center " hey, do you guys mind if i let my Tauros out to walk with us?" he asked, he didnt want anyone to be uncomfortable with his letting out the bull pokemon.
Maya groaned inwardly when the Tauros was mentioned, but she knew she would have to come to terms with the big pokemon sooner or later, and it wasn't like he would attack her now, they were on the same side, right?

Suddenly, a large Rampardos bursts into the scene, letting out an angry roar. Its eyes were red - indicating some kind of eye irritation. Red was all Ram saw. He was VERY angry. For once, he was just relaxing at the outskirt of the gym when that horrible bird pooped on him. Then to make matters worse, his resulting roar had scared a kid who had tossed lemon juice at him. Needless to say, Ram was not in a very good mood. He slammed his feet on the ground, causing a small crater on the ground. "RAM! RAM PAR DOOOOOOOS!" --- Meanwhile, in the Katarina Gym, Luna was rounding up her pokemon from their break time outside their balls. She noticed one pokemon missing from the group - "DOOOOOOOOOS!" Even from a distance, Luna could recognize that cry anywhere. "Ugggh, Ram, this is definitely going to make me look bad as a gym leader." She waved her Pidgeot over to her. "Prince, give me a lift please?"

"I think now would be a very, very good time to let your Tauros out!" Shina said, abruptly releasing Rasha. "Rasha! Try to hold him off! Keep him away from people without pokemon!"
Rasha darted away from Shina and let out a loud whinny, trying to draw the out of control pokemon's attention.

Claramay turned to give Flint an a-okay when the world began to have a sudden case of shivers. She would have certainly offered the globe a coat to prevent the coming of a second Ice Age, but that wasn't the case. Rather, a specimen of the early Cretaceous period was tap dancing by the square. It seemed angry it wasn't obtaining any applesauce, err. applause.
This was Cetus's sign to bail. "Al," she said and the Pidgeot had the same idea in mind. Yea, we gotta get the eff outta here. Claramay climbed onto the large bird without any delay and descended. Maybe she could wait off the Godzilla-esque destruction of Katarina some other place . . .

Rampardos immediately spotted the ponyta and marked it as "enemy" immediately. If there was one thing the dinosaur liked, it was a good battle. It charged headfirst at the Ponyta without hesitation

flint paled when he saw the huge Pokemon, this definitely wasn't a good thing. "Rush, we need you!" he called as he threw the pokeball in the air, releasing the Tauros. Rush shook his head to dispel disorientation as he was released from the poke-ball. "tauu-roooooos!" he bellowed and set off at a ded run, charging the dinosaur pokemon with horns lowered
Maya watched with dismay and looked around, she would normally fought alongside them, but right now she had Diphda on her back, and she didnt want the smaller pokemon to get involved. she instructed the Pichu to hold on tight and dashed over to a light pole and scaled her way up then once she was at the top, jumped off and glided to a nearby roof-top. This was the safest location she could think of when there was a rageing rampardos on the ground

Diphda was jumped as the Emolga ran. He was actually quite eager to fight, but really didn't want to let go. "" he giggled throughout the run. ""

Rasha decided this Rampardos wasn't too smart. Putting his head down like that meant he didn't see her dance to the side and lash out with her powerful hind hooves.
Tenka followed Maya. While he wouldn't mind joining the battle, that was a rock type, and there were already two other large pokemon ready to take it on. The baby, on the other hand, had only Maya to look after it, and it would be in a great deal of trouble if it decided to join in. "" Hopefully he could distract the baby with a story.
