Soon after he had spoken, the door was opened, and he heard a familiar voice call out to them all. He glanced over towards Riyo briefly, then back to Mitsu as he was finally able to move again. It was time to get down to business once more. Whatever it was, he was certain the hunters were involved. Off to the side, he saw the Horseman of Conquest around. It seemed he found his quarry but was unable to do anything about it just yet. The time would come soon enough, however. Shun narrowed his eyes at the opposing group, then turned his attention to the portal. He was determined to make a difference for his side. They could not lose. "Come on Mitsu. We have work to do," he said quietly as he gripped her hand before stepping through. ((Exiting))

Madison turned her head, ignoring the taunts of the abominations - stupid morons, all of them, just bleating uselessly. Not that she or the rest of the Hunters seemed much more useful...
And then the cloaked figure spoke, and one of the mirror-things glowed brightly. It wanted them to go through there?! Madison took an inadvertent step forward as she found himself capable of movement again. It would be so easy to draw Kouki and throw herself at the unprotected freaks' backs...
Don't do it, Kouki said, sharply. Don't make it angry. We're outclassed; we must do battle on its terms.
"O-okay." Madison squared her shoulders and ran after the 'fleeing' students. She wasn't going to let them escape!

It was bewildering. Leon knew that him and his fellow hunters were pretty much rendered immobilized and from across the way, the halloween creatures seemed the same too.
UNTIL THEY STARTED TO BUMRUSH THE BLUE PORTAL THAT SHOWED UP.
"hey guys, they're on the move!" the brunette hollered out and pointed in their direction, taking him a few seconds to realize that he could move as well. "Sweet. You're not getting away that easily!" he barked out before hopping through the portal side that was opposite their own.

Before Natalia could register what was happening in THIS area, students were already heading to the next. The figure which guided them along caught her attention momentarily, that is until the human stench blew her way.
Oh...my. Suddenly her nose was pinched by two fingers and her eyes watering. WOW they smelled horrible! Worse than she could have ever imagined! At first it seemed like a good idea to wait, maybe come to understand what exactly was going on now...but not anymore. The doorway was open, and through it she leapt, tail gripped in both of her arms.

Ennéa ran through the darkness of the labyrinth when suddenly, between one step and the next, there was a blinding flash of light and she found herself elsewhere.
She blinked and squinted at the sudden brightness of the room, totally disorientated. She would have fallen if she wasn't somehow frozen in place. "Wha- what?!" She gasped. "What's going on?"
I don't know? Even Baraz sounded nonplussed. But hey, He added brightly, there's your friend.
Ennéa looked in the direction her weapon had indicated and relief flooded her. She had been scared she'd be lost alone in the dark of the labyrinth forever. "Maddie!" She wheezed happily at her squad mate, still out of breath, "Over here!"
The older hunter didn't appear to hear her though, and Ennéa watched as Maddie walked through yet another doorway. "Ack! No, wait for me!" She cried. Ennéa didn't see any of the other phoenix squad members in the room and she was scared at being separated yet again.
Ennéa struggled to move and tripped and fell when she suddenly unfroze. She quickly scrambled to her feet and ran through the door after everyone else.

Actually, Savior was getting a bit more curious about the door as she watched people go in, everyone running, and a single thought occurred to her:
There might be Marrowstripes in there. That was bad.
"Horree, Savior go protect." Dropping the hand of her friend she started forward, moving towards the same place that everyone else was going.

Something was calling her. They had to go. Savior was here now? Good, thank Jack someone from her group was here at least. "Let's go then Savior." Holly hustled behind her friend off towards where ever it was they were all going.

Regardless, Mort went after his teammates with dogged determination the second he could move. How else would he get answers?

There. She went through that door only to find herself seeing others heading off elsewhere. Without anyone else there of her team, she ran her hands unnecessarily over her corset and headed off too.

Going through the door wasn't a bad experience as of yet. There wasn't a pit immediately underneath him so he supposed he was doing a bit better for himself. He wasn't quite sure what was happening but he had the feeling the next door was where he had to go so he didn't bother wasting any time. The sooner this was done, the sooner he could hopefully get home. He had minions to feed

There was a flash of light, and the fog was weird mirror land, and everybody was here. The guy in the purple hood was not human. And for a long moment, Harrison thought this was it, that they had gotten out of their league, and he was dead.
Harrison did not like the whole mass-control-of-body-movements thing.
When they could move again, both sides started leaving through the portal. Harrison set Jerry down, then hauled him to his feet, gripping his shoulders. "Hey," he said, "Wherever your head's at, whatever you're thinking, get your s**t together."

"M'okay..." The wobbling sun-hunter murmured, although by the look on his face he wasn't. But he was functional, or at least could stand, it would seem. "We're all wet," He managed lamely, wobbling a bit as he glanced around, "Where's... Where's Candace?" He wasn't entirely sure what was happening, but they were out of... that place... and bright light was a lot more inviting than suffocating shadow.
