IRL Halloween for me, no idea. I'm using one of my cosplays for Halloween and was supposed to go and get a wig when the rest of the family went Halloween shopping, but I got left in the lurch, and I don't have the costume ready. =<
More than likely I'll end up staying home and helping my mom hand out candy, but on the bright side, I get to see all the little kids in their cute costumes. =3
Especially my former babysitter's little guy. He's a little over a year old and going as Yoda from Star Wars! X3

If memory serves, my first encounter with the Guild was after the battles were over, and I followed King in (we had crossed paths during the battles, and his benevolence won my respect). Granted, I was pure lurker for a while (props to Lorika for tricking me out of the shadows; you remember, right?) but I have zero regrets joining up and coming here.
I never really used the skin, but I used the robes, shield and spear as I earned them. I still have some of the combinations saved in my Outfits.
...I had a thought, but I lost it... it's been a long day. (I'll explain in the ON FIRE thread)

I think I've told a couple ppl... I don't think it's really that big a deal to keep secret.
For those who don't already know, I was basically tricked out of hiding by Lorika's clever April Fool's prank, claiming she had gotten engaged and was abdicating her leadership position. I sent a PM offering congratulations and the like, and after some back and forth, she got me to agree to stop lurking and start actually talkin' to people.
...having been temporarily almost mistaken for Dart after I did get involved was kinda funny in its own right, but that's another story.

I think I'm double posting, but I wanted to reminisce now lol
1. 2 years ago, I joined my first event! I participated in the game and in the forums, and Lorika's popular (and growing) forum drew my attention. I even commented how awesome it was or something, and I was surprised to find she commented back; from then on I saw her as a queen, or rather a High Priestess, since XD You still are to me, Lorika!
2. Halloween this year: I am working in a haunted ice cream parlor. That's no joke, and starting yesterday, the resident ghost has actually been making a muck of things and trying to spook my coworkers and I out-- and yea he's been succeeding. However, I have to deal with him not only Halloween, but whenever I work there, for however long I work there lol
4. I flipped when I saw Vanessa from Salon Durem as Lara Croft XD It's awesome, and last year I nearly keeled over in excitement that Moira was Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell emotion_kirakira I will be dressed as Jessica Hamby from True Blood (cuz I look like her but I have blonde hair) and I will leave my avii in my BOO robes emotion_c8

I do remember that awesome event where a lot of us met. The most important thing that I recall doing was visiting and posting in Lorika's thread. And then everything just fell in place.
I still recall wearing the BOO skin before it turned into a potato skin XDD
Remembeeer? But I guess I'm more remembered wearing the Overseer's scarf (thanks to Steli heart ) and Fai's coat XD

I always tried to reply to as many people as I possibly could... it was hard, especially when I'd refresh the page/finish posting and the thread had already skipped ahead two pages! gonk blaugh I think there are a lot of pages where I didnt even see any of the posts on them because of that - I had to ignore them and just carry on to the most recent page.
I flipped this year when I saw Becky as Panty from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt! Major fangasm moment right there. ...I really don't get who/what Rufus is being, but I know he looks super kyooot in dat armour!~ B'awww~ heart
Ooooh tell us some ghosty stories!! O___O What kind of stuff has the resident ghost been doing? Writing "GET OUT" on the walls in cherry chocolate chip? Levitating your ice cream scoops? Making creepy appearances on the CCTV footage? 8D
The same friend who told me paranormal activity 3 doesn't live up to expectations actually complained of his house being haunted a while ago! (I guess it's hard to be freaked out by movies when you're facing it in reality!) He said that once, while he was moving furniture around in his room, he heard somebody say his name. He thought it was his sister and he went out in the hallway, but she wasnt there, so he eventually found her in her room ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE and he was like "Did you call me?" and she was like "NO?"
*creepy music*
But then it got worse, because he used to wake up late at night feeling like something was watching him from the foot of his bed. And then one night - while he was talking to me on msn actually - he was in the living room and in the doorway he saw something move right in front of him. He said it was like a person coming in from the hallway beyond and then immediately vanishing. I was like... EEEEP! DDD:
I have an even creepier tale about a haunting, but I'll leave this post here for now cos it's getting unbelievably long 8D;

Do tell about ghost stories!! I love them, but I never knew I'd experience anything.
Naw, but the ghost has thrown our menu signs off the walls before, and just does little things. For me, he has turned off the grill and goes through our utensils and makes them clank together. He usually likes to whistle, and he also likes turning up the hot fudge warmer to the point where it'll burn and smoke lol
As of late, he has been throwing the brooms onto the floor from where they're stored. He has flipped up the floor grates were the ice cream scoop water drains (so that we can step in it when we aren't careful stare ) and not only does he whistle now, he also hums, talks (but you can't make out what he's saying), moves chairs, and he tapped me the other day. Hmm. I think that's all he's done so far. Oh! And played with my keychains and keys hanging from the door when it was locked. It's not bad [yet] but I fear that Halloween this year might be eventful for me lol

No ghost stories from me. Apparently the house I'm in is haunted but never had anything happen to me. Course the hauntings happen to people not in the family. That tends to happen when you have two people pass away while in it I suppose.

That tends to happen when you have two people pass away while in it I suppose. Oh wow! Lol My friend says her house is haunted, and I really believe her lol. The former owner died in the bedroom, and he's actually taken such a liking to my friend that it won't let her husband sleep cuz it sits on his side of the bed or something like that, and he'll watch my friend as she cooks or does housework or something. When they talk about moving, it starts throwing things and won't let anyone sleep and he makes the dogs bark and cower. She said she had some people over and it started to rock their rocking chair out of nowhere, scared off some of her guests lol Now they're looking for a new place to live, but they have to do that when they're somewhere else besides the house to talk about it lol
