"TRICK OR TREAT!" the little Joker called out happily as the woman opened the door and looked down at her. She even held out a bag already half full of candy out expectantly. Alex frowned as she looked down at the girl. Both from the duo's...choice of costume, and from the severe lack of candy they had in the house. Alex, of course, had never seen or heard of the Joker before...and Rosie certainly didn't look like Rosie right now. From Sapphire's vantage point, she couldn't see who was on the other side of the door, or what their costumes looked like. "Well...aren't you cute." Alex replied, giving the little one a smile. "Hang on just one sec...." she said, then turned her attention back into the room. "He, do we have ANY can-"Before she could finish her sentence, a mountain of candy quite suddenly appeared beside her in a puff of black smoke. She blinked, looked at it, then over at the black cat sitting on the couch. The cat's eyes were wide, and he looked almost as though someone had just stepped on his tail. "....um....thanks?" she said, her eyes still on the cat.

Looking at the suddenly-appearing mountain of candy, Joker said, somewhat bewildered, "Well, that was convenient..."

Rosie's eyes widened at the candy as well, and her smile grew wide. Alex glanced back at the girl, then smiled a bit. She probably should have taken the cat's panicked look and over cooperation as a bad sign. But....the kid was just too cute. "Why don't you come around the corner here and help yourself." she said, then looked up at the adult with her. "That is if you're allowed."Rosie beamed, took one look up at Joker, then whipped past Alex and inside before he could tell her yes or no.

Laughing at Rosie's preemptive dash to the real-life Candy Mountain, Joker said, "Go ahead, put yourself in a sugar coma..."

Rosie peeked out from behind the mound of candy at him with a little "challenge accepted" kind of expression, then went back to filling up her bag as much as it could possibly go. Alex grinned a little and turned back towards him. "She could be in here a while." she said, then paused a moment and glanced back into the room. "I....didn't know they were still doing trick or treat." she said, looking at the clock. It wasn't that late...but she always thought they did trick or treating...a little earlier than this.

"Oh, most aren't," Joker said, walking inside to make sure Rosie didn't get irretreivably buried in some kind of choco-lanche, "But we're not most people."

Alex blinked a bit, then turned to glance at the others in the room. Her attention was drawn most towards Sapphire, who now had perfect view of the two. She seemed to be focused more on the adult clown, and was staring at him with wide-eyes. It was clear, from Alex's perspective anyway, that Misty recognized the man. And it wasn't a good recognition.
"...I see." Alex replied, looking back at the two.

Joker took note of everyone in the room, his gaze coming back to Sapphire's expression of horror a few times. A grin spread across his face, apparently relishing the fear he had instilled in her. "Do I know you?" he asked her directly.

A few little memories of her team up with Batgirl flashed through her mind briefly, but she made sure to keep her features clear of that. "...hard to say." Sapphire replied, trying to recover from the initial shock enough to calm her expression. "Can't really tell who you are under the costume. But....you certainly picked a good one. Looks quite a bit like the real thing."

Arell and C.J. had their doubts that the older fellow was the real joker, but they made light of the situation. "Nice costumes, y'all!" C.J. said with a smile.
"Y'all pop a tire, too?" Arell asked.

"Costume?" the Joker said, looking back and forth between C.J. and Sapphire, who he didn't recognise because of her costume. then he began laughing loudly. Calming down a bit, he said, "My dear, this isn't a costume. Little Rosie there decided she wanted to be me for Halloween. And who am I to tell the little munchkin no?"

Sapphire didn't look very surprised to hear him claim to be the real deal. He had just looked way to much like the man she'd run into months ago for that to have been just a costume. She really didn't think it was a good idea for him to be in here. But at the same time, she wasn't sure it was very smart to try and send them back out. Were they really just trick or treating, or....was he having fun along the way?

No one giving the clown a reason to keep talking to them, he instead walked up behind Rosie and asked, "Need to keep going tonight? I DO have that extra pillowcase in my pocket for more."

Rosie whirled around and smiled up at him, her little bag dragging on the floor from the weight of the candy. "You have another bag?" she asked with a large grin.

"Yes, I do!" Joker produced a large pillowcase from his pocket. There had been a design on it once, one that looked like something that had said 'Happy X-Mas, Pudding!', but the stitches that had made up the words had long been pulled out, leaving just a slight outline. "I'll give it to you on one condition... Promise me you'll pace yourself with the candy. We can't do with you making yourself sick every day until it's all gone."
