Al AzifBodies were piling up again as Al moved through the streets, carefully killing each zombie that she came across. She'd managed to secure food, which was good; the energy would help her keep going as she continued to try and scythe through her foes like a whirlwind of death. Or... re-death... or, uh, something. Whatever it was when you were killing many, many of those who were already dead. She couldn't even remember how many she'd gotten rid of; there were so many zombies, and she'd been fighting for awhile already. One hundred? Two hundred? Somewhere around there... probably... and it seemed like that number was only going to keep growing as she kept working to eliminate them in the name of justice. Ah, she was looking forward to getting home, and finding somewhere to relax. But until then, the flame of justice that was burning in her heart was telling her to keep going. She didn't really intend to stop until every last zombie in the area was dead, and a faint smile flicked across her face as she considered her next route. Judging from the way the town had been built so far... T-00, T-103 Type Tyrant [Codename: "Mr. X"]It was a struggle by now, the entire Midwestern city mostly overrun by these undead creatures, and though many had fallen there were still some who managed to survive this long. To most this would have been a blessing, a testament to the human spirit and the ability to adapt to even the worst of situations when they came upon them. However, to some, the continued survival of humans in this wasteland of a city infested with hordes and hordes of the undead was considered strictly a nuisance...which was why the helicopter that made its way swiftly over the Downtown Area and hovered high above the buildings, much higher than any human could hope to reach, was not a military helicopter or anybody seeking to help the survivors. And the six pods that were clutched in a create, one of them released from the grip beneath the chopper to crash destructively into the blacktop of the streets...sinking nearly two feet deep into the road by sheer impact, a black-gray pill bottle by structure...was certainly not a supply drop. And the red and white symbol on the side, like a macabre umbrella, was not the United States flag, either.
Suddenly, from the inside of the massive, car-sized pill bottle there came heavy thuds...the metallic walls of the capsule being dented with each slam...but it was only with one final thud that the metallic walls shattered and huge, white fists ripped away the metal to reveal a humanoid figure at least eight feet tall and thicker than an American Football Player. His eyes were not empty like the usual zombie, but he was clearly not a creature that was truly 'living'...and his black trenchcoat reached from the neck below his bald head all the way down to his thick, black boots. An intimidating figure...a deadly foe...he immediately scanned the area for survivors. A tag on his jacket read "T-00, T-103", but another simply read 'X'.
And now he was here...and out for blood.Quote: MAJOR EVENT!

Al AzifDropping things. That was never good. As soon as she'd seen that, Al Azif had quickly turned and headed away, cutting through the enemies as she went. There were a few possibilities, of course. The Government was sending in some kind of soldier who was going to lay waste to the area around him, or maybe it was just a bomb of some sort. Either way, the girl was moving plenty fast as she worked to get quite out of sight; no direct view of the dropping things, and she'd already been several blocks away. Nor did she intend to go back in that direction; anything that seemed too dangerous was best fled from for now, at least until she could come across some seriously heavy weaponry. And if she was wrong, and it was safe? She'd probably find out eventually, and she could go check things out then. Best to err on the side of caution, though... after all, a heroine needed to protect herself as well as protect others. Right, then, what other foes could she get rid of? There were plenty of zombies to be slain, after all... Al AzifThere was noise from somewhere a few blocks over. Hmm. Well, best to avoid that as well, she supposed. Frowning just a little bit, Al continued moving, her knife and machete creating an increasing number of more thoroughly dead bodies as she moved through her foes. There did actually seem to be a lower number of zombies in the region now; she was having to go further to get rid of the same number. Proof she really had been thoroughly reducing their numbers? Or just evidence that they were all being led somewhere else? It was hard to say without knowing how many zombies had been in the area to start with, and Al frowned just a little bit, once again, as she continued to pace herself and move through the area, working to avoid spots that seemed too dangerous and continue to get rid of enemies that really were troublesome to her current plans... which was mainly any zombie in her path. What she really wanted to do was create a sort of perimeter by killing any zombies who strayed into the area... but that might be a little too obvious, too, if anything happened to be hunting her. Maybe it would be better to... Yue Adomachi "Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy ProtectorZombie" Zombie Yue seemed to stop and grip his head with a loud groan, shaking his head. A bullet grazed his shoulder where he stood as someone stupid enough not to run when the copter landed somewhere nearby, shot at Yue. His head turned to them, furious. Nothing going through that white haired head but rage and hunger, he took off, moving faster than he did before. The man with the gun had no chance to drop his gun and run. Or at least, he dropped his gun, but Yue already had the upper hand. He was already on top of the man, pinning him and digging in. Yue groaned, a bit louder, like a more angry sound. He went chasing after more victims, taking down any survivors that the other zombies didn't get to, or weren't anywhere near the odd newcomer in the helicopter, which oddly Yue felt absolutely no urge to attack. Al AzifAl let out a bit of a sigh as she continued to move forward, her weapons raised and very well-used by now. The dead never really seemed to stop appearing as she continued to make her way through the streets of the city. Or... well, not appearing, but at least being there... nobody else seemed to be killing anywhere near as many as she had, at least not around here, which she thought was rather unfortunate. It would be nice to have some decent help, but if this heroine had to go it alone, then so be it. She'd simply do whatever she could to get rid of as many of the dead as possible, for the sake of the burning desire for justice that consumed her soul. Let no darkness remain unlit, let no undead remain on the soil of this world. After all, the path of a hero was the true journey of one's life, and she intended to walk her path until the very end. And at the moment, that path was leading her though blood-soaked streets and through ever more numbers of those who were getting the gift of a trip back into the grave. Or... just into the grave. Did it count if they'd never been buried to start with? Hmm... Yue Adomachi "Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy ProtectorZombie" More. That was what Yue wanted. The insatiable appetite of a T-virus zombie was undeniable. Yue captured another family, cornering the younger ones of the family into an alleyway and finishing them off, and finding the mother and father later hiding like cowards. Yue went for the mother, and the father came leaping at him angrily. Growling, Yue's hand shot around the man's throat and squeezed, slamming him against the wall using his body weight before sinking his taste buds into the man's flesh. The woman screamed, crying, but the noise only made Yue let go of the dying man and make sure the woman met the same fate.Quote: Humans Devoured: 6 Total Humans: 36

Minori Koroko Noises. She could hear an helicopter above her... being inside, and busy getting rid of the monsters coming her way, she didn't have any idea of the bigger monster being dropped in that moment. And it wasn't until an explosion like sound boomed and the force of the heavy load being left behind making the floor and buildings shake. Minori had to place her hand on one of the nearby walls to keep herself from losing her footing, crouching just to be safe. She had no idea of where or what was thrown, the chopper moving away, she guessed by the faint sound. Locating the stairs, the blond moved in that direction, trying to get a better view of whatever was outside now. It gave her a bad feeling...hopefully, she was wrong. Reaching the roof, Minori furrowed her eyebrows, noticing the huge man standing, searching for something. He sure wasn't here to help...but the other way around. One quiet step back, and then another, the girl tried to keep as far away from that monster as possible. Eyes darted back to the door from where she had come, only to see that zombies had followed her there. Tch... and she couldn't make much noise in fear she'd be heard. Pushing them aside, kicks and punches thrown expertly every way, the girl gain speed, before leaping over to the next building's roof, falling with a roll, unharmed. This...this was getting tiring.

Al AzifAl swung her weapon to the side, sending a line of red across the pavement as she cleared some blood from her weapon. Thank goodness for decent military supplies; her machete, despite heavy use, was still working fairly well. She was actually using it as her main weapon now, keeping the knife as a backup instead of constantly trying to use both weapons at once. Though she had excellent hand-eye coordination, she didn't exactly have formal training in this kind of thing. It was best to allow her body to move the way she was used to, with her agility as her primary source of safety and her weapon as the means of decapitating her foes. It had certainly been working fairly well so far, and quite a line of bodies was being left in the little heroine's wake as she continued to pace through the streets, careful movements leading to decapitations as she went through the zombies somewhat like butter. No need to get overconfident, though... keep killing the small ones, look for other supplies, and keep going. Be sure they're really dead, too, and not going to rise up behind you. So far, it was working. Quote: Zombies killed this post: 22 (+1) Zombies killed total: 269 (-20) Items:x1 Machete (+1 Zombie killed each post) x1 Knife (Starter Weapon) x2 First Aid Sprays

Yue Adomachi "Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy ProtectorZombie" Yue merely kept killing. He couldn't very well stop, that was for sure. He didn't want to! Hunger gnawed at his otherwise empty and dead mind as he tore into his next victims. Seemed the use of knives, the bullets, neither of those things were phasing him as much as they did at first. If anything, they just annoyed him. Angered him more, which fueled his much harsher killings and feedings.Quote: Humans Devoured: 6 Total Humans: 42

Al AzifOne by one, zombies fell as a small heroine moved through them. She was far, far more used to the movements she needed now than when she'd started all of this. Her body was certainly learning how to kill the zombies properly; how they moved, how they attacked, what their exact abilities were. Thus, each zombie was an experience, and those experiences added up to help her be more efficient in killing the next zombie she came across. A continuing, growing store of information, for as long as her body held up. With the food she'd gotten earlier, she was fine for now, and the girl nodded slightly as she continued to walk past her foes, killing them as she went. Right, then. Probably time to start searching for another place to get supplies. You couldn't be too prepared in a situation like this, and she wanted to be sure she was ready if the worst should happen to occur. She was learning, but the heroine inside of her knew that getting too confident could only lead to her downfall. She wanted to do this right, and Al nodded in determination as she gripped the machete that had pretty much become her friend. Time to keep hunting. Yue Adomachi "Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy ProtectorZombie" Victim here and victim there. The casualty number was rising gradually. Sure the humans were killing zombies, but the number was being matched by the zombies holding their own. Yue received a nice bullet in the right arm, but it didn't stop his movements, nor slow him as he pounced on his prey. Seemed when the food was still fighting to survive, it made the game even more enjoyable, the meal much tastier...Quote: Humans Devoured: 7 Total Humans: 49

Al AzifIt had been at least three hundred zombies now, hadn't it? She was pretty sure it had. It was a fairly high number, anyway, somewhere pretty well up there. Which, more practically, meant that while there continued to be the same number of zombies behind her, she'd actually cleared out quite a number of streets behind her, making them mostly safe for other survivors. She devoutly hoped that the humans still alive were managing to get towards safety. Even if zombies eventually drifted in to fill the areas she'd cleared, like gas expanding to fill a room, she hoped a rather large area with a much smaller number of zombies in it would at least enable then to survive better. That was the idea, at any rate. For herself, her clothes were pretty much soaked in blood and bits of bodies, and the stench was just terrible, but the girl pressed onwards. There was no room for nausea when there was justice to be dished out, and there were many people walking who ought to be lying six feet under. For the sake of great justice, Al was quite determined to eradicate all of her targets. Yue Adomachi "Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy ProtectorZombie" If Yue could feel fun, then he'd be having fun about now. The teenage zombie growled, about the only audible noise he could make right now, and took his meals down, left and right, even occasionally almost competing with the other zombies to get to them first. He didn't care about them. These were his meals, not theirs. The streets thrived with racing, healthy hearts, and he'd find every one of them if he had to.Quote: Humans Devoured: 7 Total Humans: 56
