I love the idea of imitation gems for the baddies xD Damn lab created gems scream
Maybe Organic Gem-lime objects (Pearl, Jet, Amber, ect) are the bad guy Generals. (ya know, the ones that come back episode after episode to throw monsters at you, but are replaced a couple times a season) .
Then we can use some of the Lab created gems as a lower order bad guy... ya know like one that you kill each episode. Obviously, there arn't enough of these names for a full 'season' but we can throw em in the pot.
