Rex floated up higher once more of the flesh beasts began to talk to him. He held his arms out as if he were involved in some sort of regal presentation.
"Not just the basement." He huffed, turning his tattoed back to them. The crown image seemed to twinkle but it could have just been the strange tangibility of the Boo himself. "All of it. And the treasury.... WHERE I KEEP MY CROWN, BY THE WAY." He said it pointedly to whoever had question the crown thing.
"You can't wear a crown all the time. For those times you can see the crown to know who your ruler is." He gave them all a PIERCING blue gaze.

Oh, the zombie got the message alright. Stepping back, Mortimer went on his knees and began to prostrate himself.
"Yes, Lord Crown Tattoo-Butt," went the undead rather reverentially.

Rex looked pleased when he saw the boil fall to his knees. He then looked horrified at the name he was called.
Rex used BOOMING VOICE:
"MY NAME IS REX!"

Thankfully her question was answered as soon as Natalia appeared in the entrance way, along with Coraline. "Oh good! You both made it back safely!" Letting out a useless sigh of relief, she turned her attention to Tybalt with a small glare, but quickly retorted. "Yes I have. Sorry you haven't found anyone willing to watch your back yet." With that, Mei flipped him off and shifted her gaze to the small ghost floating about.
"The only tribute I'm offering is my boot up your ghostly butt." Man..for such a small ghost, he sure liked to boast about being king. "Oh really? If your a king, then I'm Jack Skellington." She grinned, resting her head upon her hand. "What we need is some solid evidence. Anyone can tattoo their a** and claim to be king."

LW grinned at Natalia quite happy to see her there. Their team was all accounted for now! And Ren was being...himself as he greeted Mortimer. LW hoped her teammate didn't get freaked out by Ren's greeting. It was too much to ask the gryphon to simply shake his hand. The she-wolf spared a moment to give Ren that special smile she reserved for him before grinning at Jove.
"I guess that answers that question, doesn't it?" She giggled as Jove got a customary hair ruffle from his brother. "Oh, what is this about being lonely?" The she-wolf stepped forward and snagged the pup in her own squeeze of a hug. "Are you sure it's not jealousy...? Do you need a kiss too?" Tail flicking in amusement, LW pecked Jove's cheek with a simple and innocent kiss before dancing back to go stand next to Tybalt. She tilted her head and glanced between the black dog and the floating puff-ball.
"I dunno...if you look at it from this angle...there might be some resemblance..." She giggled and lightly poked Tybalt in the side. "And why are you arguing with a puff-ball, Tybalt?"
His reaction to...well actually, LW wasn't sure what it was by the she-wolf blinked owlishly at her friend. Following his pointing finger LW found...a fluffy looking cat. There may have been a soft 'smack' as she facepalmed. "Really...?" Shaking her, LW stayed next to the black dog while she regarded the puff-ball. His PIERCING blue gaze was countered with brilliant violet eyes full of amusement.
"What kind of name is 'REX' for a king...?" There was totally a giggle added in at the end of that question.

Tybalt had missed the ghost's piercing gaze completely since he and Mei had been bickering.
"Touche." He replied with a grin, snorting once more when she threatened the ghost. "Violence first? Such a sweet ghoul you are. Always so kind." His words dripped with sarcasm as he looked back to LW.
"Oh hush!" He grumbled and gave the werewolf ghoul a swat. Not a hard one, if anything it was more playful than rough.
"It's a ghost---I think." He corrected, tilting his head at the creature. The more he looked at it, the more he was unsure of that himself.
"Anyways, I'd love to stick around and entertain your Lord Crown Tattoo-Butt-liness, but I actually want to get a move on. I have a feeling if we linger too long we'll end up getting left behind." He pointed out with a sigh, using Mort's chosen name for the ghost. Knowing the school staff, they really would leave them behind. No doubt about it.
"See you guys later and keep safe!" He called, giving them all a wave before he climbed the stairs and disappeared into the next room.
Tybalt is exiting to Group 12 - Room 2!

Rex was absolutely flabbergasted. They questioned what he was, the questioned the validity of his statements. THERE WAS TOO MUCH QUESTIONING GOING ON!
"See this mole?" His arm moved, an attempt to point at the mole on his face. "THIS IS A ROYAL MOLE. REX IS.. SOME.. LANGUAGE FOR KING!"
He was actually right about that but he didn't know it.

Jove puffed up indignantly and blushed even brighter. Again, he wasn't lonely! And no he didn't need a kiss as well, like he would ever be jealous of Ren's relationships! There was too much cuddling and kissing and just... ew! He froze for a split second, eyes tightly closed as though expecting the worst, and pulled back a little as LW leaned forward to give him a kiss.
Sure he tried to be a gentleman, but she was just teasing him now and they both knew it!
He wiggled free of Ren's arms, and watches as Tybalt went back up the stairs. Up towards sanity, the pup hoped! But that probably meant they had to split up again...
The pup glanced around furtively, and then gave LW a quick hug. Mostly for her sake. He wouldn't want her to be offended if he left without saying good-bye, and inwardly he worried for her and wanted the comfort of that closeness before parting again.
Then, still blushing like the world's fluffiest frightlight, he waved at the blob thing and the rest of LW's group, and trotted after Tybalt.
((Jove is leaving the basement!))

Coralie spotted Natalia right away. Not that she was terribly hard to miss, with that blue hair of hers. It caused the witch to smile knowingly in return. She hadn't forgotten that night of Truth or Dare either. But then, she rarely forgot anything that entertaining. Wilfred apparently saw her too, because he began cursing and complaining about what was proper and then something about skunks...
"I've been around," Cora said. "It just seems neither of us have been...around a the same time."
She looked at Rex and shook her head, waving her hand. "Sorry, but you couldn't do much for me, really. I won't be a Queen to anyone so...lacking. The crown a** is a nice touch though."
Cora answered Tybalt smugly, "He's not even my familiar. That's Wilfred. But Wilfred needs something to bond to for my fear so...hence Luka. But it's not my fault he likes you." Seeing him move toward the next room she began to follow, but paused. She turned back, striding over to Natalia. She gave the other ghoul a kiss on the cheek. "Perhaps we'll meet up again later, hmm?" She smiled crookedly and went off through the door after the two ghost boils.

It was time to go, which was disappointing - at first he tried to resist it, but Tybalt had already disappeared, followed by Jove and then Coralie as well. Ren could feel himself being pulled away with the others, and he grabbed ahold of LW's hand, reaching out to touch her cheek.
"Stay safe!" he told her, and smiled brightly, ducking his head to kiss her quickly. Then he gave her a stern look. "And don't do anything, rash, pretty please.
Ren glanced over at Moure, waved enthusiastically (while simultaneously giving him a look that clearly said PLEASE TO BE TAKING CARE OF MY GHOUL), and disappeared after the rest of his group.

 Sancka had seemingly choosen a room at random and when she phased in she found it filled with a large group of those weird two legged things..she glanced at the carefully but saw none of those dangerous objects the other two legger had whacked her with - he was so mean. Put somewhat more at ease by the lack of potentially dangerous items - at least that she could see the purply ghost floated further into the room and noticed a familiar boo lurking about. "Sticker butt!" She shouted out in jouyful booish glee as some of the two leggers started to leave to some..well who knew where really and who really cared? They were weird.

Waving team skullker off as each of them strode for the door, a pout remained. Its too bad they had to split. She would have loved to get to know the other members of their team as well. Jove, she remembered from the last trip. But the orange haired ghoul, and green haired boil were unfamiliar to her. Well..maybe they would cross paths again, and she could ask for introductions then.
Hopping to her feet, she dusted any dust or dirt that might have coated her outfit before turning to stare at his royal majesty, Rex and his mole. She stared long and hard before finally speaking. "..I wonder if that will come off.." She mused, contemplating on trying. "Hmm..my curiosity will have to be sated another time, sadly." Stepping away from the royal ghost, she spun around to face her team. "I think we should get a move on as well. We really shouldn't be dallying too long here."
Gesturing to her team to follow, she motioned towards the next room, and the next task ahead, patting another small ghost entering the room on the head as she passed by. "Your queen has arrived, Rexy." With that, she exited.
Mei has left the Hub for Room 2

Whisper watched as teams started to file out of the basement towards their respective rooms. The break did not last long, which she did not imagine it was going to, but it was nice while it lasted. Who knew when they would get another one...if they got another one. With a sigh she stood, stretched, and followed Mei to their next destination.

Rex looked pleased to have driven the fleshies from his room. He hadn't, really, but it did wonders for his self esteem to think that he had.
The pleased boo slipped back up through the cieling and disappeared.

Oh, Mort. He stayed on the floor prostrating and bowing to the ghost seconds after he had left, probably to make up for the lack of respect the others had given him.
And then he noticed that half his team had left. o3o??? Time to go already? Aww . . . He was hoping for save points between these rooms. That's what they'd do if this was a video game!
And then he reminded himself: Death Knight Mort. Also that look Ren had given him. Responsibilities!
Picking himself off the ground, he motioned LW and Natalia to come along and followed after the other ghouls.
