::Lindbergh was left flying in a whirl, as the Chatot rose higher and higher, the Gligar tilting head upwards towards the parrot bird and then suddenly, hit by a pressure wind that drove her back, gritting fangs now as she fought to gain control::
::Jasmine looked up, the Chatot was almost glowing now as it began charging up, she looked back to Lindbergh struggling... they couldn't do much to stop this move, but they could make sure to match the Chatot and make a bigger target at least!:: Lindbergh! Don't fight the winds, ride them!
[Says you!] ::The Gligar was loathe to accept the girl's advice, but she flung her wings wide open, rising up and up... she may only have been a glider, but once she got a good thermal underneath her, she would fly like the best of them!::
::She had to look for an opening... ready herself to move in an instance!::

The Chatot felt the power surge in her and she almost chirp her love it all. The power that surge in her wings would be what she used in just a moment as she saw that the pokemon was gliding upwards towards her, and she decided it was now time to go down. Closing her wings she would drop like a rock ...if the winds helped the Gligar to glide upwards then she would go down.
See how quickly he can compensate for the changes as she dove at him even as he tried to rise upwards into the air.
This was a battle of speed and skill in the air, and she wasn't going to lose to some pokemon that could only ride the winds. That swift dive was her dodge ...as she tried to use speed to make sure that the Gligar couldn't catch up to use any of her moves on her.

::Lindbergh was gliding upward, the Chatot was falling downward, the pair were going in opposite directions, it was a great display of aerial acrobatics, but in a crisis of minds, there was one mind extra::
You have claws, use them!
::Lindbergh almost cursed herself, she could curse Jasmine a hundred times over, but for not thinking it herself, she was about to put that frustration to use now, as the pair were going past each other... if this was a battle of speed and skill in the air, Lindbergh was about to find both of hers tested::
::Her claws grappled out, grabbing to catch the Chatot's wings and ground the bird, take both of them to the ground, her tail pulling back in expectation, before stabbing out, looking to catch the bird now, between ground and her poison stinger!:: [I swear, if this works-]

The attack would work as the Chatot was caught with her wings wide open and forced seemingly closed. It would be an out of control dive as that stinger caught her belly, and she almost screamed in pain ....but her rage only made her caw out.
"Intruder."
She then struck out with both of her feet as she struggled to get free. As her eyes shone as she prepared to assault her opponent with Sky Attack. If she managed to get free, the Gligar would find herself being caught by the bird's talons instead as she would literally smash her opponent against the ground with the full force of their fall and rise back into the air herself.

::They were speeding up, Lindbergh could feel her ears flapping in the windfall... this was a serious attack she was now facing, if she did this wrong, she knew she was about to face a wrath of unholy pain::
::But it was the same contest between her and the Chatot, for dominance of the skies, as well as for control of the area...::
::She hissed, barking out her words above the rush of wind, before she pulled::
[How about this?! If you make this move hit... I go... if you don't, I win and you call off your hoardes!]
::And she pulled, suddenly, the pair were spinning, reeling round and round, spiralling towards the ground now in a way it was impssible to let the Chatot orientate itself...::
::This was risky at best, foolhardy at worst, against any careful move Lindbergh would normally have done, but now, she waited, until the last second, before she launched herself, wings open to let the wind catch her and carry her up like a parachute, letting the Chatot plummet, who would win!?::

Though those claws would catch her ....Lindbergh would find herself caught as the bird didn't bother to open her wings but a little as she releases the Gligar into the ground as she simply ....skim the ground ...as she flaps once to rest on the ground.
She already knew that her opponent wouldn't be rising again as the pain radiated through her feathers. The poison coursing through her as she lands, and caw once as the other Chatots looked at her.
The command was clear ....she had won, and that child was now hers ....as she smirks lightly. She took one dangerous step towards Jasmine, but stumbled as the poison that had been Lindbergh's final gift spread through her feathers and she cough quite savagely.
Another of the chatots a male this time landed near her despite the anger that showed on her face. A beak press against the feathers of her cheek and she sighed openly and then open her wings and took off back upwards again as the other Chatot follows in her wake. She had made it clear that she was the guardian of this area, and that this place belonged solely to her. Jasmine would be left alone with the broken body of her gligar ...a body that started to glow with a white light as it become smaller ....much less define as the gligar went back to an egg state.
Afterall, the potion wore off in 24hours.

::And there was Jasmine, left alone, her words seemed almost drowned out by the display above...::
::Indeed, pride had came before the fall... there was no other way to describe the plunge that left Lindbergh in a pool of her own blood, but the gore reversed, leaving the girl with a brown egg, with a patchwork purple that seemed to imitate a Gligar's wings hugging round it...::
::She was alone with the Chatot, but it seemed that the leader hadn't gotten off lightly either, as the flock vanished to see to their leaders wounds::
::And she alone, took the egg, hugged it under her poncho, she had to keep the Gligar safe, as she looked around slowly, she was in the middle of the woods now... no idea how long it would take th eegg to hatch...::
::She had to wait, gather supplies, somehow find a way to hold out or get back home to recover before proceeding further...::
Don't worry. ::She spoke to the dormant egg, shaking despite herself, taking her time, she would slowly calm:: ...It is my turn to be tested now.

It was over now.....the Gligar was gone and so was the flock as a small leaf moved separate of the tree it was suppose to belong to. A pokemon small and round would move forward, the same Cherubi from before as the pokemon blinks lightly. Yeah he had run off, and he had no intention of helping when he saw the guardian and her flock, but now that she was gone and the girl was alone he sighed openly.
He didn't like the trainers that came through here, but this one had seemed weak before. And kind afterwards, she had afterall not let him to suffer on his own and since his first gift was now beyond her reach ...she decided on another as he came towards her and smiles. Or at least tries to seem as friendly as possible as he looks at her and the egg.
He would protect her now ...at least until that egg hatched, and from what he could hear ...it wouldn't be long. The occuptant of the egg was already scratching the inside.

::Jasmine took one look at the Cherubi, and in an instant knew whom it was, she looked at the small plant type, and despite everything, she smiled to him::
I'm glad to see you're doing better at least. ::She nodded to the Cherubi as she began to look around:: I'll need to find some cover at least...
::Lindbergh had told her they needed to stay overnight at least, no reason not to get things ready...::
I don't suppose you'd know where is the best place to look?

The Cherubi nods as he trots over towards her. Though, he wouldn't get very long to say much as a shadow flickers over head ...a Vullaby ...the pokemon had trot upon the area as the scent of death ....had called it. Eyes glinting with hunger and savageness it stops when it saw the blood on the ground but not the creature that was beaten and bloody. Or at least, not how it expected as she clacks her beak at the sight of Jasmine and the Cherubi would rush in front of her.
This was why he was sticking around afterall. As the pokemon fluffs out her feathers.

Riku let out the breath she had been holding as her pokemon hadn't even attempted to dodge it. Instead he had let it scratch his armor but luckily it hadn't hurt him. The girl knew that her Larvitar would know what to do next and so she didn't say anything. Instead she watched, hoping that he could land this attack!
Ryuu relaxed, feeling the pokemon Scratch him but not deep enough to harm. He turned to the Sandshrew and saw that she was angry. Well he guessed she did have reason enough since they were on her territory. He didn't really know she was mad because he hadn't attempted to dodge. So he charged forward, waddling more like it and opened his mouth to try and Bite his opponent!

Through if one could play that game of course, she would think that the same worked for two as she step backwards. Her foot out as the sandshrew would instead of dodging simply move to trip the lavritar and let his momentum take him past her. It was her way of getting back at him for not bothering to dodge ...for simply ignoring her attack.
She would in response simply ignore his.

::Although the Cherubi meant to protect Jasmine, the girl did not blanch, she stood forward, the girl before the pokemon, she looked down at the small vulture, she couldn't do much before it, but she could certainly be larger than it::

::He looked between the gap in the girl's legs, looking to the Vullabee, he did t expect it to back away from a girl with a metal stick, he had to be ready, he had a feeling it was going to be time for some interference...::

He was right ...as the Vullaby would flap her wings once and hard. She would stir up a wind so powerful that it actually would rip a furrow into the ground in front of her as the gust went towards Jasmine. The strength of a Vullaby and its rage would come forward as the pokemon took Jasmine's words for an insult.
Wait for a meal? That was all that a Vullaby did, and what meal could she offer. She saw none, and knew that in a little bit there would still be none as she caw her frustration and anger.
Afterall, she had to walk there, since Vullaby couldn't exactly fly yet with those stubby wings of her.

Ryuu had been paying attention but the Sandshrew had stuck it's foot out last minute. The baby dinosaur had been moving fast enough that it couldn't stop and ran right into the trap. Falling, he rolled into a slight ball and then landed with a thud on his rear. Shaking his head slightly, he shook the slight dizziness from his tumble and then stood shakily to his feet. His eyes were focused as he waited for the attack that was sure to come. When the pokemon would attack, he braced himself ready to turn and race towards the left side to avoid it!
