✖Special abilities: Manju can generate cold. She has to use existing materials, i.e. she can't just make ice unless there's already water around her. She can't directly control weather, but by studying the climate and planning, she can influence things with a sudden drop in temperature. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Manju comes from a land far to the south. She's very interested in stars, since they're good for stories and directions. She knows quite a bit about the constellations of the south, but since she's traveled so far the night sky to her is very different.
✖ Manju is all kinds of cheerful and curious. She's from an extremely isolated part of the world to the far south, so everything she encounters on her travels feels foreign and new to her. She tries not to be overbearing in her curiosity, but has no qualms about walking right up to someone and start asking them questions.
She's very accepting of various beliefs or cultural behaviors. Her thought on the matter is if people can accept her she can accept them, and she might learn something new in the process. Po-tay-toe, po-tah-toe, quibble all you like over what you think something is or should be. What Manju hates is when people deny her; if they can't accept or believe something she can do, it doesn't exist. This is the one attitude she just can't seem to forgive, and while she doesn't immediately avoid people like that if she can't find a way to change their minds she tries to be elsewhere whenever they're around.

Being raised in the Lyndburger family chucks the textbook of normal right out the window! Well, it's a subjective concept anyway. Syl is an adventurous scamp with a very active imagination. When he sees storm clouds on the horizon it's time to get started on one of his epic table-blanket forts. Not so he can hide inside it himself, but so that he can guard the prince (Shayden) from the percussion-playing packaderms that want to steal him and make him their queen! Wondering how/why/huh? You'll get that a lot around Syl. It doesn't matter if it makes sense or not (yes, he knows the difference), he just likes things to be interesting and full of twists and turns.
Sometimes he sees something normal and makes up a ridiculous story for it and sometimes he pulls stories out of thin air, but whichever it is he approaches life with energy and enthusiasm. Syl does sometimes have his quiet moments though. He loves to snuggle, for one thing. He's got a reward-drive, and the promise of any kind of cheese snack can talk him into doing all sorts of things. So while it's not in his nature to be still for too long, take comfort in knowing he can focus when the situation calls for it.

✖Special abilities: As a half-Wonderlander, Bandersnatch can change an item into a gun in the blink of an eye; in this case, the key he wears around his neck. He also has the ability to create weapons that come literally from his body, making him a walking arsenal. (His favorite weapon is the kunai knife.) The drawback is the price, paid with magic, flesh, and blood. Once the weapon forms, be it full or partial, it cannot return to his flesh, and if Bandersnatch is not careful he can use herself up and die. As a half-Outsider, Bandersnatch is able to travel between the two worlds, though it costs him a lot of energy to make the journey. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Bandersnatch has magic from both sides of his family. His Wonderland magic allows him to pull weapons from his body, making him a walking arsenal. The drawback is the cost, which comes from magic, flesh, and blood. Whether the weapon emerges completely or partially, it cannot be returned to Bandersnatch's body. If he isn't careful, he can use himself up. The magic from his mother's side is undefined because he rarely uses it. All that's known right now is it is primarily defensive in nature.
✖ Bandersnatch is a thief. He likes unusual or interesting trinkets and has a lust for riches in general, but he loves it most when there’s a risk involved and the scent of a challenge is in the air. You can’t be the best if you don’t beat the best. You might not believe that of him if you’ve only ever observed him, though. He comes off as lazy or uninterested, and not by accident. It suits Bandersnatch’s purposes perfectly for others to underestimate him. If you could crack open his head to peek inside you’d find layers upon layers of plots. He’s opportunistic, yes, but not obvious or greedy, and what might seem like a missed chance could actually be just another step to bring him closer to something he wants even more.
Bandersnatch’s idea of a game isn’t nearly as bloody as the rest of his family, but that doesn’t make it any less deadly. He likes to move people around like pawns on a board, having them do most of the work so he can skulk in the shadows and reap the benefits. Don’t take it the wrong way if he swoops in to save you; if he didn’t think you could be of any further use to him he'd let you die in a second. Also, don’t make the mistake of thinking that because Bandersnatch gets others to do the dirty work he can’t fight for himself. He’ll slit your throat for you…after he's finished playing. Just because he plays his own game doesn’t mean he didn't learn a thing or two from his parents.

✖ Sirius has a nervous disposition. As a kit it didn't cause much to freak him out, and while he's managed to settle down as an adult the thought of new things, surprises, and things acting in ways that aren't quite normal causes him to twitch. It doesn't take much to scare him at all. He doesn't even try to hide behind bluster about how he wasn't really scared; he just hides. Combine that with his quiet outlook and gentle, kindly disposition and you have someone who seems made to be bullied.
Sirius really is the biggest sweetheart. He can't seem to hate anything, even when it's being mean to him. He can be a little awkward when you first start to talk to him, but the more he gets to know someone and the more comfortable he feels around them...well he's still a little awkward, but it's hardly his fault. Though he can't even seem to stand up for himself he always puts the needs of others ahead of his own. In fact it seems that doing things for others is the source of his bravery, though he can be brave and scared out of his wits at the same time.

✖Special abilities: Tristan has some strange magic because of his time of birth. He can see the spirits of the dead as clearly as he sees living people, and has to work to keep from seeing them. With practice he will be able to hear and interact with them. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Tristan is from a mock-breeding, not an actual one., which is why his cert says 1st gen.
✖ On the surface of things Tristan seems to be a very normal, bland guy. Neither too energetic nor too dull, too outgoing nor too reclusive, too cultured not too boorish. He's a friendly guy, quick to smile and always willing to participate no matter what the activity. It'll take a bit of interaction and observation to figure out what Tristan personally is like and enjoys. For starters, he has a wide variety of interests and it's hard to shock him. He doesn't seem to have any kind of preference in conversational topic, but he will reference anything and everything no matter how remotely related it might be, as long as, in his mind, there's relevance. For example, he can talk about cutesy sparkly ponies and recite a list of the most morbid executions throughout history in the same breath without so much as a twinge.
Tristan is territorial about those he considers "family", be they actual family or just friends he considers close. He displays this through passive-aggressive behavior, since open confrontation just isn't his style but he's more than willing (and able!) to make an interloper highly uncomfortable until they go away. It can be considered annoying or endearing, or equal combinations of the two. Because he can be so blasé about most things it's hard to find a way to get back at him in return, but he does have his buttons. Touching, for one, is something Tristan rarely instigates and doesn't often seek out, so he's highly sensitive to and easily flustered by touch.

✖Special abilities: Ikaika can fly, but it takes so much energy that he prefers to run or glide. He's also very good at climbing. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Ikaika can see, but his eyesight isn't great. He's largely nocturnal since bright light hurts his eyes, but will sometimes emerge on overcast days. Because he lives in a mostly dark world, colors appear much dimer to him than they actually are. Ikaika speaks somewhat broken English, as it is not his first language. For most, his native tongue is difficult to enunciate since hissing, squeaking, and chittering sounds are largely part of the words. It gives him an interesting-sounding accent.
✖ Ikaika is initially cautious, but once he is assured there is no danger he becomes very open and friendly. He loves to chat, even if it's sometimes a little hard to follow his odd speech patterns, and shows equal amounts of enthusiasm and caution when talking about new places or experiences. He's got a lot of common sense, but having lived on a small series of islands his whole life he doesn't have much in the way of worldly experience.
Ikaika is equal parts hard worker and lazy layabout. He exercises to stay fit enough for climbing, gliding, and running, and makes sure his shelter is sound and he has plenty of food. But once he's got all the essentials out of the way, nothing makes him happier than to stretch out and take a nice nap.

His own feelings about magic and his status as a warrior have prevented him from training it, though if he did so it would be controlled and much stronger. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Váli has an unusual past.
Váli is old. How old exactly even he does not know. He was once a warrior, the best in his village. It was a peaceful and prosperous place, one no bandit could overrun. Váli was proud of his strength that protected it and kept those that lived there safe. He was highly sought after by all the single women of marrying age, and even some who were already married! But Váli's heart had already been claimed. The relationship was kept secret because the young woman was betrothed to a wealthy lord and it would have caused a scandal had it been known. But they were passionately in love and could not stand the thought of living without each other. Váli promised that as soon as he had saved enough money he would take his love and run away with her.
Alas, tragedy struck. Váli was defending his village against a bandit raid. They had brought with them a sorcerer who was decimating their ranks. Váli was able to evade the attacks, for secretly magic ran in his blood, but he was dealt a fatal blow from behind right as he struck the sorcerer down. His spirit wept beside the shell of his broken body, the force of his sorrow so strong that he could not move on, thinking of his love and the promise he had made, now broken. Then across the bloody battlefield walked a fair being, cloaked in white furs and frost blooming on the ground like an elaborate invisible cape, with skin pale as snow, hair blacker than midnight, and a face so beautiful it was almost painful to look at. She knelt beside Váli and regarded him with eyes so intensely silver that they seemed to glow. She introduced herself as the Snow Queen, and made Váli an offer. She would give him his body back if he would agree to become her personal guard, and if he stayed within her realm for an entire year she would set him free. Váli instantly agreed. The Snow Queen smiled and bent down, breathing a fine white mist over Váli's body. Frost began to cover his body, healing the hurts and melted away. Only over the wound on his back did it stay, and his midnight hair faded to the color of star light tipped in icy blue. Váli gasped, then suddenly opened his eyes to find himself back in his body. The Snow Queen smiled and held out her hand, taking Váli back to her home of eternal winter inside a palace of ice.
For an entire year Váli did not leave the ice palace and spent his time by the Snow Queen’s side, guarding her. He thought only of the end of his year and reuniting with his beloved. But tragedy was not yet through with him, for the Snow Queen was in love with Váli and had been even before he died. She coveted his strength, beauty, and magic, and thinking to win his heart in that year she made many attempts to seduce him. But though she was said to be one of the most beautiful of all fairys her attempts ended in failure, for Váli was blind to all but his love. Then the year was over, and Váli approached the Snow Queen to remind her of her promise. Bound by her word she could not refuse, but her plot was not over yet. For when Váli left the ice palace to return to his village, he got a most horrible surprise.
Time in the realm of the fae passed differently from the world Váli came from; in the single year he had been gone, one thousand years had passed in his world. The Snow Queen hoped that when Váli saw there was nothing left for him he would return to her, but her final trick backfired. Home and love both gone from the world, Váli aimlessly wanders the earth, filled with crushing sorrow for what he has lost and a terrible rage at the Snow Queen for her deception.
Because of his past he has a great dislike for winter, despite his looks, but he keeps that to himself because it's his own opinion and not to be pushed on others. Though he disapproves of magic and does not use his own powers, he does not dislike other magic users and only mildly frowns on the practice of it in his presence.
✖ Váli has a complicated past and he's lost a lot in his life. He's a warrior, highly strong and quite agile. In the beginning, he was very proud of his power and full of confidence. He was not careless exactly, but full of certainty that things would always come out his way when he put in the effort. Then his world was promptly turned on its ear. He's still a warrior to the bone but he's much quieter now, giving off a feeling of competence rather than confidence. He does not see the world as he used to. Now he knows that no matter how much you plan for something, no matter how strong or powerful you might be, sometimes chaos steps in and there's nothing you can do except ride the storm and continue to survive.
He doesn't much like to talk about his past at all, but if you can get him to bring it up there's a sense of sadness. Váli doesn't hold people away from him but he feels separate from the world sometimes, as though he's an alien species that cannot be fully comprehended by normal people. He'll probably come off as a loner, but really he just likes quiet and the time to reflect. He's highly protective once he becomes attached, be they friend, family, or lover. To him there is nothing worse than being strong but being unable to defend what matters, so he will fight with nothing held back if someone he cares about is in danger.
