"Hm?" Her heard slight mumbling next to him he stopped and looked at the girl. "Is there something you need to say Kana?" His head tilted slightly as he watched her. She knew she could tell him anything right? He didn't think she was capable of saying something that would make him hate her, so she need not worry about that. He was close to the falls he wanted to show her, but he would wait incase she actually wanted to say something.

Kana stopped and started shuffling her feet."I .....I.... I love you" maybe he didnt hear that. Kana was feeling really self conscious about this. she loved Kishin so much. she shook her head and started to walk the other way, she wanted to get away, Kishin was making her feel so loved, howevr she was sure he didnt care about her like she did. she had heard from others stories about broken hearts. and she didnt want to be like them. she found a bush up on a rock and hid in ither tail poking out
((how about the "pre-recorded message" joke?))

Kanami's voice almost went silent. He saw he lips moving... What was she trying to say... Before he could figure it out the girl was curled under a bush. "Kanami? ...Whats wrong?" He stood next to the tail that was poking from the push.
(Nah... I dont think they should know what a ore-recorded message is ><)

Kana blushed. Kishin came for her? She popped her head out and looked at him."Ki I love you. I have for a long tim Ie now." She admitted. "once I met you I started feeling strange .. I mwan I could never talk to a male befors but then you came and I could find the words I wanted to use."

Kishen listened to the girl and her confession. She loved him? He blinked a couple of time. He knew he liked the girl... but loved her? This was rather sudden to him. "K-Kana..." He was honestly at a lost for words and just looked at the girl.

Kanami looked up at him her ears perking back."y-yes?" she said softly her eyes close to tears. she didnt want to have told him that. she wanted to keep that a secret. she knew this now put her at risk. she wondered if she would begin to regret this decision.

With a sigh he helped the girl from her hiding spot and held her close to him. "Kanami... I wanted to wait... to tell you." He looked down at her. "Will you be willing to wait... a little bit longer." He did love her. He wanted to go to the spot where his mom found love... That beautiful cliff where the moon flowers grew.

Kana nodded. her ears flicking."I ...can wait." she wimpered."lets just keep going then." now she was nervous."so how far til we reach our destination?" she asked. her tail tucked a bit behind her.

"Not long... It's where I wanted to take you originally... After showing you that cave." He found the thorny vines that protected the area and looked for the spot that was safest. "Be careful..." He went slowly through the brambles to make sure she wouldn't get hurt. When he was safely out he waited and blacked her view. He was happy the full moon was being covered by a storm cloud, and happier that the cloud wouldn't ruin the night.

Kanami nodded and continued to follow. when they reached the area she climbed through the safe area he had opened for her. and started looking around."so what's here?" she asked.

"It's a place special to my mother. I thought you might like it as well." He led her further and into the flower patch. He looked up and saw that the clouds were dispersing. "Ok... Now. Close your eyes and don;t open them till I say so... Ok?" He gave her a soft smile.

Kana sighed and closed her eyes, she was still nervous since Kishen wanted to wait to tell her how he felt. If his mother cared about this place then hopefully she would as well. Her ears flicked sporatically."Kishen why m I closing my eyes though?"

He waited till the clouds we all gone. Then the ordinary dull grey flowers turned bright wight and a gentle wind came in and the spores of the flowers made a glittering swirl around them. "Open them." He smiled becuase things were starting to play out like he wanted them to. "Kanami... " He waited for a bit so she can take in the scenery. "I wanted this to be special so it can be a moment that you will never forget." He blushed slightly. "Kana... " He got closer to her and looked into her eyes. "I love you."

Kana opened her eyes an looked around. the flowers were beautiful the way they glowed .Kana knew she would never be ale to see this with her normal routine. when Kishen told her he loved her, the tears began to fall from her eyes. Kishen loved her? "Kishen thank you." she ran to him burying her face in him.

He held her close and wiped the tears from her eyes. "No need to thank me." He smiled at her and pulled her close to the edge. "Wait here." He went back to the bramble and pulled out a little basket, he had borrowed this from a shaman and put a few snack in it. He carried it over to Kanami. He placed down the basket and nudged it toward her. "I brought snacks."
