Yuki entered shortly after, blinking against the stuffiness of the 'new' room and the haze drifting up from below the ledge.

Ah, ledge... Another long drop. He carefully made his way to the edge and peered over, his complexion managing to go a couple shades paler.

"That... Is not appealing. Not at all." At least they could see the bottom in the last one. "This time the spikes are probably at the bottom..." He shuddered at the thought.

Though, on that thought, he looked to Astra.

"Do you think you might be able to fly down, carefully, and figure out which of these is the best to take? It's be a bit dangerous for us to each take separate slides, who knows where we'd end up..."

[My vote is C judging by only the image, but I am fine with whatever the majority chooses. Since work is exhausting right now, feel free to assume that in whatever slide is chosen, Yuki follows. That way no need to wait for me to post him doing so, in case we can continue on without my post assuming it would hold us up.]

It was difficult to say exactly how long they had been there. "They" being two statues made out of copper, standing on raised pedestals set between two doors. The statues had the bodies of dogs and the heads of lions; they were Fu Dogs. Each one wore a different collar decorated with skulls; one had a collar that was red, the other a sky blue.

Each Fu Dog had one paw raised, resting on a sphere. Or is it a skull? It is difficult to tell. They move, their paws tightening around their treasures as you approach.

"Well met," they greet in unison. "Your trials are almost over, Students of Amityville. What you have gone through is a sample, a mere taste of what is expected of some on a daily basis. But you are not here for that."

They fall silent, looking down and studying each student carefully. The one with the light blue collar speaks first. "Your last trial awaits you. It will not be easy."

"You will get to choose," the red collared one says, "This is a choice for each of you to make."

"Not as a group."

"Not together."

"But individually," the two say in unison gravely. "You may only go through one door. Once you have made your choice and gone through it, you cannot back out."

"The doors are locked for now," the one with the red collar says. "They will unlock when the time is right."

"For now, consider your options," the sky blue collared one says. "You may change your mind before entering, but once you go through a door you cannot return."

The statues fall silent as they exchange a glance with each other. "To determine which door you pick, please tell us...

It was rather startling, to find that the statues of the Fu Dogs were more than simply such... In the worry of which slide was the 'right' one, Yuki hadn't even noticed them for some time. Good thing they weren't enemies, or so he could only hope.

He listened intently to them as they spoke, an uneasy feeling beginning to overtake him. He presumed that the choice was going to be a difficult one, and perhaps it really was something he should have thought more than two seconds on...

"I would choose to help someone else."

As he gave his own answer, he overheard Tess and looked toward her with a reassuring smile. Had he known the unspoken reasoning for her answer, only then might he have been saddened by her choice.

"I wouldn't look down on you for it, Tess... I don't think there's anything wrong with helping yourself at all." Tess, he was certain, wasn't one who would be cruel to others in trying to help herself at least.

Leonard had finished his delicious boot camp experience, but it was time to get back to what he was good at, what he was meant to do. Floating in the room he spied several beings, several targets. Locking his gaze on one he floated over. If it was alive it was probably in pain, and it would need his help.

In a soft, almost coaxing voice he spoke. "Don't you fear boy, I'll help you. I'll make all the pain disappear. Just like you."

HP: 10/10

Leonard eyed the boy, and didn't quite believe him. "That may be true," the boo grudgingly admitted. "But sooner or later you will probably be in pain. I may as well just help you now and put you out of your misery."

With that he flew forward in his customary battle fashion, though his headbutt only managed to graze the ghost as he passed by.

HP: 10

Honor looked at the two legged being and laughed. "That didn't even hurt. So what are you suppose to be? The last being I fought said something about being some kind of demon or whatever."

Honor circled the girl looking her up down with distaste in her eyes. She pulled the girls hair again. "At first look I thought it was fake but I guess it's your real hair. Too bad I have to yank it all out."

"Don't pull my hair." Honor mimicked the girl using a baby voice. "What your gonna do about it huh? A demon you say? Well..." Honor tried to think of a diss to to say to the girl. "Well your not a pretty demon. You two legged freak." Honor smiled.

Honor went up to the girl and pushed her as hard as she can. Who knew making fun of someone can boast one's self estreem? Honor started to feel good about herself and was beginning to enjoy herself.
